Maybe being a communist you don't understand! It's the invisible hand! God does it all! Isn't God amazing? He's even getting rid of all the sick and poor so that the proper ruling elite will have enough money to rule us! God is great, good is good, let us thank him for our disaster of a socioeconomic model inspired by an overreligious nutjob that is Adam Smith.
Did you know over 90% of the prison population is religious (christian)? What percentage are communists?
I'd feel sorry for someone who thought the market was the answer to everything. Everyone knows a benevolent dictatorship is the best type of government. A free market is just the best you can achieve in real live.
@neils68 It doesn't work when dictators try to take control of everything, I wish there could be real communism where everyone was exactly equal and no one had more power and told everyone what to do. I wish the people could be the leaders.
@sk8chrissupras Now, sk8, your the first person to put rational words together without attacking or cussing. /applause. Do you have a job? Do you work hard? Are there people who do the same thing you do and get paid more, or less? Do you have a supervisor? does he make more? How bout the person who started the company? Doe's he deserve more for taking more risk? What is fair? communism is ripe for rape and picking, cause of idealist. Don't you deserve better than to be ruled under someones foot?
@neils68 So then why isn't everybody at the same level of a job paid the same. Then the supervisors which is at the next level are paid the same, then the owner gets the most because he started it. It's easy but not many people understand it.
@sk8chrissupras its like this. who makes the most donuts, makes the most money. some people produce more than others. those who produce more make more. people are at different levels. if you worked at mcdonalds. would you like to earn the same exact pay as the mentally handicapped person? should he make the same as you, even though you work harder and work with customers better? if you flipped burgers should a heart surgeon make the same as you? cause its fair?
@neils68 No no the idea of communism is definetly not like the last sentence you said, I don't even really agree with it that much but I think the same levels of the same jobs in the same business should make the same amount of money. If someone is in a different business then they can make different amounts because they have a different set of codes though a person at every level of a job or job in the same business should make the same. Someone who is mentally handicapped wouldn't work at BK
ok, i have a job, i make money, i need things, i use the money to buy the things i need. i want something really nice, i save some of the money to buy it. how is that wrong? its called capitalism and it requires discipline but it works.
@acb1511 Capitalism enforces coercion, something the US government is SUPPOSED to prevent. But, keep trying to use ad hominems as counterclaims. Let's see how far that gets you.......
@acb1511 Capitalism is privatized means of production, which is basically privatized dictatorship/ slavery. If the goal is to always be accumulating financial capital, then the public's, as well as the workers' best interests are not being taken into consideration. Capitalism is a disease.
@acb1511 Capitalism uses wall street to succeed. Wall Street controls the rate of inflation by controlling the "bubble effect". You too pay the higher and higher prices of inflation. Soon, $100,000 a year will be the equivalent to $30,000, or worse. Intrinsic value is how Wall Street operates. With intrinsic value, comes the "bubble effect". This never ending cycle inevitably devalues the dollar.
@acb1511 Those who build the subsidized housing, and supply the necessities, will be paid in the form of money. The money can be used to buy goods at government owned businesses, which are supported by government owned resources, and more government paid employees. If you don't want to work, or cannot, you do not have to. However, you are only going to be able to enjoy the basic standard of living. No flat screen tv. No sports car. Under this system, people will WANT to work.
@acb1511 When you will feed on potatoes and vietnamese fast-cooking noodles, ca. 3-5 years, to get a possibility - as an university rank (wchich is uneffective and uncompetitive in current economical conditions, and not because soivet/post-soveteducation is shit) to chhose, should you pay either for the light, either for the gas, and your mathematic knowledge will e wery needet for solving a problem, that all communal altogether weight more then you current salary is -
I am a socialist. But most "socialists" on the internet seem to think that capitalism is "evil". Capitalism is not evil. It is the next step towards communism from feudalism. It is a system set up to fail. It makes the gap between higher and lower class so large that it makes revolution inevitable. However real socialists just want to take another step further.
What? Advocating individual rights has nothing to do with religion. Furthermore, individual rights are a way to avoid Liberalism, an advocacy of liberty and EQUAL rights. Libertarianism is just another way to segregate rights.
What? Advocating individual rights has nothing to do with religion. Furthermore, individual rights are a way to avoid Liberalism, an advocacy of liberty and EQUAL rights. Libertarianism is just another way to segregate rights.
This reminds me of some sort of Al Qaeda or Neo Nazi video with the flag in the background and the uniform, sort of the equivalent of a president standing in a buisness suit behind a US flag. I have yet to see political fervency which is not religious.
Im a socialist and i hate capitalism but this guy is going about it all wrong. We require NEW socialism and NEW equality because all the other others have failed (China became corrupt, Russia became dictatorship and dont get me started on North Korea) Cube has done SOCIALISM very well and as Fidel himself said many times they are not not communist but socialist-communist. When forming a communist governemnt they remember to make the people equal but not the governemnt. You must spread tthe power
No decent human being could possibly be a Maoist. Chairman Mao was probably the greatest mass murderer in history at least 70 million forcibly starved to death.
Do yourself a favor. Go look in an Economics 101 textbook, and read about Supply and Demand. Read about the laws that dictate them. Better yet, open up a history book. It might prevent you from looking like a fool in front of everyone.
lol This is definitely deluded. Ignorant too. This should be rehashed on Tim & Eric.
Indeed, I have arguments. Capitalists are whores but they need not believe in anything . . . much. You know you could not use strawmen. Marxism is like a religion being that it is a worldview bent on the breaking down of class by the proletariat. Communism is a more simple opposition to Capitalism so you can drop that anyway.
Love the hammer and sickle. It's irony knows no bounds.
Nice try MARXIST SLAVE DRIVER. But we aren't buying your BS.
BTW, it's not a "magical force' that corrects market deviations, it is PEOPLE that do such a thing. You don't even understand the basic concept of supply in demand.
Capitalism isn't a religion RETARD. All capitalism is, is economic freedom. A limited government that has limited intervention over the markets that people CHOOSE to create or destroy.
Uneducated. Childish. Capitalism brings people together better than your communism ever would. Capitalism brings prosperity through a million ideas, the best(most affordable and practical) shining through the filter of competition. A communist regime would have everyone reading the manifesto by candlelight, whereas capitalism had the bright idea(lightbulb) to create a network to enable problem solving and increase our standard of living.
You are aware that Marx stated himself that he used the religious mechanics putting himself in the place of God. Something that all communist leaders done by default.
He even invented the devil to shun! (capitalism is a communist invention)
Free markets regulate themselves not by regulatory magic as marxism tried and failed but by something called supply and demand.
But I know it is useless to tell anything factual to a typical marxist/religious bigot as such dont really want to listen.
Hey man im from germany and you know what Stalin did right? he killed a lot of people just because they didnt have seen the way he wanted to have them! Man Comunism is a crime not even a religion its just a fucking crime!!! and by the way you look like the DDR Chewbacka!
The market solves all problems that it is within the power of rational human action to solve. The market is not a magical force, the market does not really exist, it is the sum of the billions of individual decisions and actions taken by individual people.
There are people who fall for the idea of both utopias. But while a socialist utopia is theoretically possible, a free market utopia is completely impossible. I'm a socialist, but I stay away from the idea of utopias. No such thing.
And I love watching capitalists spew misinformation and brainwashed arguments.
@hotverde15 the socialist utopia has been proved wrong 90 times out of the 90 times it has been tried.
Hundred of Millions died because of that murderous subversive ideology: "are you against the state then you are against the people, exterminate!" or "you cannot use those words as they are offensive to the people, exterminate!" thats all there is to your socialist paradise, that by the way, is a mere lust for a revolution.
And a revolution is the elimination of all other opinions by force.
I'm not a kapitalist. But god you look really silly standing in front of a communist flag in a military outfit. You even have the beard and all. I mean do you want people to take you seriously ? I guess not, your ratings are disabled.
This guy is an idiot, I don't know where where to begin.... First of all, Capitalism is not a religion and neither is Marxism. Second, Marxism is a great idea but taken to the extreme int he form of communism, doesn't work. Third, Capitalism has never been about solving social problems. It's about making money period.
Communism is a great idea but it absolutely will not work in practice... I wouldn't quit your day job idiot...
@theinternetsucks Why do people say this? ''Great Idea but doesn't work in practise''. Communism is a horrible idea because it doesnt work in practise, that is how you distinguish good ideas from bad ones. Oh yeah, curing diseases with leeches; great idea doesnt work in practise, Trying to fly off a cliff by flapping your arms; great idea, doesnt work in practise.
and by the way, you completely misdefine all of the positions that you attempted to discuss. It seems that you have never tried to put yourself in anyone else’s shoes by considering their view points.
why don’t you just boycott the companies and people you disagree with... I do that when I disagree with economic or environmental policies -course I am a “right winger” so it doesn’t count ;). Recognize that the consumer holds all of the power. If we want to fight a company, we can stop buying its goods. If we want to fight the government, we can hold a tax strike. Why destroy a system which allows us to fight without putting our health at risk?
If we are social creatures, we don't need anyone forcing us to "cooperate". If we are truly social creatures, like every socialist claims in defense of the creed, then we would never be swayed by manifestos; we'd never back revolutionaries because there would never be a need for the state - three realizations the socialist is keen to reject. The contradictions inherent to the socialist mentality are more numerous than the bodies stacked by their political ancestors.
Call me crazy but I believe in socialism and capitalism. The problem is, as with most things in life, people ruin everything. Socialism falls down when people become lazy and capitalism falls down when people get greedy.
Is there an island we can sent these idiots to? this country was founded on capitalism and if you try hard enough you can be what ever you want. i think your just a lazy jelious fuck who has no ambition or motivation so you hate on the people that do. Fuck off!!!
Capitalism: The understanding that human beings, like animals, fish, plants and bacteria, will certainly flourish when left free; that the individual is paramount; that the assertion of one's rights means something; that progress is natural; that tyranny is evil; that life is the greatest virtue and comes not from an authority, but from each person who commits him or herself to the pursuit of life.
Religion: Adherence to an intellectually devised belief system that a single power must be the one and only creative force; that the source of all good can come only through this entity; that no others can compare or compete with it; that no order, intelligence, or life can come about without its grace; that promotion of this creed is paramount even at the expense of its adherents. Apparently, 160 million wasn't enough...
markets dont cure societies ills, people do. That is the heart of capitalism. It has nothing to do with capitalism though it has everything to do with freedom. Force or Volition, i choose Volition. stop and think.
A marxist who describes the market as a phantom or magical being probably never read Marx and understod him. Also what Marx described as Capitalism was Merchantilism.
Those who support comunist..please give yourself example and go to North Korea or just check the history (Stalin killed more than Hitler). I know capitalist has mistakes... but tell me another better system??? i think comunist is more that proove that does´nt work.... I dont want to give my property for a political party... who are they to control our live? to guide our live? I think that is the RELIGION: the comunist party who tells you what to think
It is not possible to argue that each individual should sacrifice for the whole of society, and yet expect each individual to know what "society's good" consists of, without having a dictator to tell them.
@strapt313 no not all of us, only the people who still believe in exploiting 3rd world labor for the gain of the minority of the worlds population, and are blind enough to support it. Don't give me bull examples from the US or Australia, or any western European country. Tell me how capitalism fairly treats workers in Latin America or South Asia, producing goods for fractions of the cost it would take in the US, to bring maximum profit at the expense of the people.
I wonder what this guy does for a living? And I wonder, if it not for capitalism he wouldn't have that bogus flag on the wall or that nice video camera he's using or those nice prescription eye glasses, that were probably paid for by insurance, stuck on his fat fucking greasy head. These people bask in the glory of western democracy and markets, while at the same time shitting in the water tank.
The market isn't mystical nor is it magical. The market is completely within our control because its reactions are all subject at all times to human action. Markets will solve those problems better than any central plan. You seem to have contradicted yourself as well. You describe Marxism as being, people working together to live better. Ok, but this doesn't require a state. So an anarcho-capitalist society based on the same principles of cooperation is just as plausible.
"Marxism is not a religion, capitalism is." It's funny you say that, considering your belief system has a flag and symbol to represent itself. Capitalism doesn't have that. It's not a belief system, it's just a system...sorry
Hey, you-tubers: try clicking on the thumbs up/LIKE button or the thumbs down button. You will get a message that "ratings have been disabled for this video." Gee, I wonder why. Do you suppose it might be because this is/was one of those videos in which the dislikes far outnumbered the Likes?? ..... NAH!!! Guy is standing in front of the flag of the USSR (no, NOT the flag of Russia) .... and we all admired what a free and open society that was. ..... Right?
@TheMosesProductions You have highlighted my point for me. Socialism doesn't respect individuals or freedom. The difference between most socialists and you is that you're honest about it - in that world the ends always justify the means. There are no principles only goals. Ironically, socialism doesn't produce what it aims to. All of the things you mentioned are better in capitalist countries (with the arguable exception of healthcare).
Wow! Straw men sure are easy to burn down, aren't they? Nobody thinks markets are perfect, we just think they are better than top-down production methods. The problem with Marxism is that it presupposes we all have the same goals and desires. What if I didn't want to "work together to create a better world", is the majority justified in lynching me? That's why socialism in all forms cannot exist with any measure of freedom.
@tysonbc0927 Your argument is full of fallacies. No one is FORCING you to work. Under a capitalistic republic (America), you are coerced into working.
1913 the U.S. got the progressive income tax and the central bank. The 2 key planks of the communist mannifesto. Since the federal reserve has had control of the dollar it has lost 96% of it's value. Socialism is destined to fail because it leaves the faith in the government instead of the people to make themselves prosperous.
Working together is what the free market is. "The Market" isnt a thing its just people coming up with solutions for problems. Forcing people who dont want to work together or dont agree with your brand of solutions is the problem. Force is the problem. You dont have the right to dictate to me what I have to do. You dont have the right to force me to work in a sweatshop for the greater good of 'the people'.
I do think you are on to something here; however, you obviously have not read Adam Smith. There is plenty of room for state interference and guidance in Smith. The modern notion of stateless libertarianism that began with Rand and that would lead almost instantly to feudalism has indeed become an irrational religion for its acolytes.
sooo: you DON'T believe that letting a business turn away an entire racial group will maaaybe put him at a disadvantage? Not only from the money of that entire group, but for anyone sympathetic to their plight?
How about smoking? If I can make a bar nonsmoking, or smoking friendly, won't those just be good consumer choices to have available?
Also, Coms throw the term "slave" around too damn much. It demeans people who actually had to bear the whip. You're a grunt who can quit any time you want.
Alot of marxism (including Leninism and Maoism) is unbacked by evidence, is antithetic to socialism (which means worker control of production and NOT state-capitalism), and is most comparable to religous dogmatism.
The idea of the "free-market" is also religious dogmatism since it requires believers to make unbacked assumptions of human nature and requires what Adam Smith called: "conditions of perfect liberty" which doesn't exist.
as a voluntarist, i believe that only non violent, non coercive actions can solve complex problems in society.
i dont know if Capitalism is the best way to structure a society, but im not going to force people to decided on what is the best way to trade their services in society.
people can have communisium in a voluntarist society, as long as people are in it voluntarily.
its not a religion, i just think the best way is not putting a gun to someone's head.
Markets fix everything without intervention from people? Markets are people. Markets are not some magical force. The economy is me, you and everyone else. Yes, we do believe that voluntary trade will lead to greater prosperity for everyone.
Force, by definition can never be good for everyone. When force is used someone always loses. When trade happens both sides always win. State socialism is based on force. free-market anarchism is based on voluntary trade, and always benefits more people.
Don't listen to this guy. He wants to use a gun to solve the worlds problems. He is a regressive who wants to thrust us into economic slavery by way of the gun.
@strapt313 which can be seen in the bottom right corner with the man pointing a gun at the viewer. nice MaoistRebelNews2 thats the way to win people to your belief
@strapt313 Do not trust a single american because they want to use bombs to enforce so called "democrazy". You might say that it's not you doing it it's the goverment, but the "democracy" allows you to decide what your goverment does.
Snap out of it dude! The western world is not a democrazy in any fucking way (and especially not the US). It's all an oligarchy and we need to rid the world of the corporat fat-cats who control the world we live in. It's time for revolution!
If you consider that "the market" is just used by free market capitalists to mean "anything other than violence," what you're essentially mocking is the notion that various social problems can be solved without violence.
All problems mystically disappeared in China or the Soviet Union? Because the life in communist countries was SOOOOOO good.
Youtube is capitalism.
The camera you used is capitalism.
The medisin the soviet union had to import from France was capitalism.
I have never seen a country getting better with more socialism, more state. Socialists like to compare themselves with the aristocracy (that ain't capitalism)
The hell.... Don't confuse 'self-correcting' market forces with a 'magic fix'. then as if the ignorance couldn't be bested, a personal insult about believing in freedom so 'you don't feel working class'. Moron. Move along folks
I shall howl gigantic curses on mankind. Ha! Eternity! She is an eternal grief. Ourselves being clockwork, blindly mechanical, Made to be foul-calendars of Time and Space,
Having no purpose save to happen, to be ruined,
So that there shall be something to ruin
If there is a Something which devours,
I'll leap within it, though I bring the world to ruins —
@amamerc I will smash to pieces with my enduring curses. I'll throw my arms around its harsh reality: Embracing me, the world will dumbly pass away, And then sink down to utter nothingness, Perished, with no existence — that would be really living!
And …the leaden world holds us fast And we are chained, shattered, empty, frightened, Eternally chained to this marble block of Being, … and we — We are the apes of a cold God.
@amamerc Another poem extracted from Karl Marx's poems: See this sword? The prince of darkness Sold it to me.
and With Satan I have struck my deal, He chalks the signs, beats time for me I play the death march fast and free.
Being cynical by the way, MaoistRebel, is only going to characterize you as, well, a cynical Marxist, not to be taken seriously. The challenge of a fringe group is to get others to ACCEPT them, not HATE them. And explain Marx's Satanic quotes.
Where in the third world are you filming this comrade? Surely you are doing your part to help actually spread the revolution. It would be silly if you just went out and bought fatigues, a flag, and a really nice camera (on the free market) and posted videos within the comfort of your first world dwelling.
Capitalism is not an equality system its a profit loss system that tells agents what people want and how to get it. Transaction costs are high and lead to limited efficiencies in the market. The market is not perfect but its still the best thing we have figured out thus far.
love stereotypes much? and no markets cant solve all problems, they are simply the most efficient way to allocate clearly defined private properties. Socialism just muddies the clearly defined part of this equation leaving us in the dark about where or what should be produced.
Marxists believe in and enforce mass murder, oppression and slavery because a sacrosanct Holy Book handed down to them by some old, hypocritical asshole with a stupid beard told them that their belief in him made even their most reprehensible actions morally righteous.
There's also been many different changes from Adam Smith's theory of capitalism. Some of the fundamental changes and additions have been the subjective theory of value, labour theory of property etc.
"Marxism is the idea that if we all work together we can build a better society"
And capitalism isn't? While capitalism is based on self interest, it requires cooperation and the division of labour to have economic growth (increase in capital and lower cost of living) which benefits society greatly. The difference is people aren't forced to cooperate through physical violence, but living in society has great benefits.
Starting off with a strawman is never a good idea.
It seems like your just comparing your belief to the most extreme form of capitalism and saying that that's what most people who support capitalism believe. I think you'll find that 99.9999% of people around the world who support capitalism aren't crazy Ron Paulites, who think that the free market solves all ills.
Marxism is based on the theory that people WANT to help each other. Capitalism is based on the theory that people WANT to help themselves. LOL Marxism fails in basic understanding in human drive. Now I'd like you to now go to the Nobel Prize list... go to any of the catigories... which CAPITALIST country has the most awards in all catigories? Capitalist US B*%#CH!
By saying that capitalists believe that market forces are "magic" and "mysterious" you simply admit that they exist this way in your own mind. This means you admit that you don't understand them.
It's not faith, it's logic. People who sell goods and services want to make them better and cheaper than the other guys who sell them. The other guys then do the same, which is how the standard of living increases through freedom, and degrades into the 7th level of hell within socialist monopolies.
Wow the fact that he puts the market as mystical is just plain wrong. We are the market, every single choice we make makes up the market. Any type of planning is a coercion to progress and freedom. Somebody view of the common good will interfere with somebody else and socialist fail to understand that. Now if you give it to the state to allocate resources fairly to everyone where is the room for investment for progress? Marxism is Feudalism
What a useless moron and idiotic rant. Wow, where to begin? Nobody thinks Ron Paul is messianic, they just think he has the proper spirit regarding the role of government in a free society and will thereby turn the tide once in office. Hard to believe anyone still longs to be enslaved like this ape.More utopian dreck propped up to sound philanthropic. Dumber for having watched.
Truly when you think about its all pointless one day something will happen either caused by humans themselves or by nature where all life here is wiped out and no one or thing will remember humans we truly are all equally worthless. But as long as we are all alive we might as well make this better for ourselves so that we dont suffer the next millions of years were on this rock. So here is the truth none of these governments will work. Why? look at human nature and you will see why.Good luck (:
@babybobo1231 Communism/socialism probably hasnt worked because, all you need is a few greedy people that realize they can have power just by taking advantage of others. They did that with money/control, which probably suppurted fucked up unscientific garbage. Capitalism is now showing its face. The more capital you have the more control you have. The less you have the less your influence.
i like comunism and i want to become want but i do belive in god ;P

Uneducated.

@TheMosesProductions You have highlighted my point for me. Socialism doesn't respect individuals or freedom. The difference between most socialists and you is that you're honest about it - in that world the ends always justify the means. There are no principles only goals. Ironically, socialism doesn't produce what it aims to. All of the things you mentioned are better in capitalist countries (with the arguable exception of healthcare).
tysonbc0927 2 months ago

My answer: both.

Force, by definition can never be good for everyone. When force is used someone always loses. When trade happens both sides always win. State socialism is based on force. free-market anarchism is based on voluntary trade, and always benefits more people.
