i hate to correct anyone but petra started back in 1972 and they are as good as ever...my favorite band of all time...i got to meet them 15 years ago....i got my first Petra cassette when i was 14 in 1981...and 30 years later i still love their music...glad to hear Bob and John are keeping it going after the band called it quits.
Essa versão é muito boa mesmo ! A letra é insuperável ! O Senhor tem abençoando muitas vidas com o ministério do Petra, inclusive a minha ! Terei o privilégio de ir assisti-los ao vivo ! ^^
this guys rock!! no matter how simple they make the song, it sound amazing!! bob rocks that acoustic guitar!!! after 3decades this guys still rock and worship god more than ever which is really awesome... my best wishes to this guys :)
I remember hearing Petra got a new lead singer. I bought the new album and opened it up to see who the new guy was. When i saw the name, it rang a bell and his look was familiar. I dug out my old Head East, Flat as a Pancake album and sure enough, there was John Schlitt. Great voice then and now.
how i wish a lot of so called christian bands could make songs like this. Many times you can recognise them as christian only if they are marketed that way...Not by their lyrics.
You deny the power of God in a song if you leave out the pure unadulterated gospel and the person out of it. We need encouragement and entertainment together and it come in a wonderful song like this....god bless you petra!
@jonke38 well it's incredible, after two years I'm watching this video again, I said: this acoustic version sound very good, no better as the original, but still pretty good.
Now I enjoyed this song again :D my favorite song from my favorite Petra album, I love Last daze too :D
