it might make it easier for you to mix stuff and add effects etc quicker and easier.

@Eritsasaku Can't say I'm against advice. lol. I just use C.E. cuz it's quick/easy. I don't add/do anything. Just send the raw to Deci. He uses Record to make it sound pretty. lol. Who makes it/whats it about, NO idea.

I'd have to suggest reaper by cockos.

Reaper is like a 20mb or so download, real small, free updates and to Buy it is like $40-60 and it's $150 if you make more then 20k through music. (i think a month or year or perhaps overall)

you can get a 30 day free trial (which never runs out...) to evaluate it and just get the feel for it.

@KonClueZhen But anyway Reaper is a full DAW, it has a lot of hotkeys on it, everything is in one window, mixers right there for you, and if it isn't a hotkey it's a right click away.

Sick, but i don't think that was the right song for the rap. Lupe has a very varied and elastic rap style, and his beats usually reflect that. I think it's good, just not the right beat at all.

I'm sorry if I sound like a daft brick now, but I'd rather be honest than acting like I liked it.

The lyrics were good, but it sounded to me like you started to force syllables many times. And I personally hate when rappers do that. I mean, it can be okay to do once or twice, if you turn it into a punch line. Now I don't want to lecture someone who's probably better than me, but I suggest using some more time on the syllables and practicing some more, so you'll realise something is wrong.
