Hey, You still need a printer? I've got an old Lennex Z11 Ink Jet printer put back in original box with one new ink cartridge. Utilizes something like a USB connection. Send me your address and I'll send it to you.
Yeah, I don't know why you think you should be the one 'examining the device.' Surely there is someone more qualified than a 47 year-old internet junkie who has nothing better to do but make youtube videos and be an asshole to everyone that doesn't feel the need to be grammatically correct. Your sarcasm isn't very appealing either. I am forced to believe that you are suffering from delusions of grandeur, and I hope someone gives you a much-needed reality check really soon.
"I don't know why you think you should be the one 'examining the device."
I am funny qualified to examine the device and pronounce it a sham or a miracle. Anyone with eyes and a brain can do it. Just make it perform for me while I watch--- see how easy it would be? But of course the video in question was a lie, a con, a deception, a sham.
I'm pretty sure it's being done with a motor running under the table. The motor under the table has a bunch of magnets attached to it, which cause the "device" to spin in sync when he spins it at the same rate. You can hear a buzzing consistent with a motor through the whole clip, and the tone of that sound changes when he takes the "device" off the table, as would be expected.
"I'm pretty sure it's being done with a motor running under the table."
That sounds like a good explanation. I wonder what the mathematics involved would be--- how many gauss it would require to make the visible disk spin that fast.
Because you cant.Big paradox when you try 2 debunk interaction between 2forces,knowing that you can NOT explain the force itself. You can say "i think" but claiming oc mpmm doesnt work is out of the question

You English sucks, but I will assume you mean you believe nobody knows what magnetism is. That is false, and a stupid claim--- I know what magnetism is and so do physicists. Even if that were not true, we know magnetics do not contain energy to perform work.

No, you didn't say anything wrong. I'm just saying.... who are you to judge? And why should I care? I think this idea is very possible. There is no reason to disredit this unless you have some hard evidence to back it up, not crazy theories taught in textbooks.
This is such classic con work. The whole "it takes a few tries" thing in particular. It makes you want to believe that it's still rough and doesn't work well, but that it does in the end work. The fact that you can hear the motor catching and spinning it up for a fraction of a second every so often when it's just coasting doesn't give the con away at all, though.. nope.. Next time he should invest in a speed controller so he doesn't have to pulse it.
"The whole "it takes a few tries" thing in particular."
Professional "psychics" do the same thing, for the same reason: pretending to fail the first few tries so that people will believe it isn't a fraud. Then when the miracle happens, they tell the audience "I have no idea how that happens." And people believe these bastards!

This video was done just for the sake of setting off discussions on free energy chat boards and blogs. It is an experiment in social engineering. We are a bunch of chatting hens.
That disk is really getting a good jolt of energy, most like from a 115 VAC source. Mark my words, it is a simple optically-triggered pulse motor, and a social experiment. It would be really cheap and easy to build.
The builder of the machine is in the embarassing position of believing in the laws of physics just as much as Desertphile. He's probably sub-conciously hoping the people who are trying to replicate will find that they can't. In my view he is just an excellent experimentalist who has been curiously tinkering, Prometheus like, with the fire of the gods and got his fingers burnt.
"The builder of the machine is in the embarassing position of believing in the laws of physics just as much as Desertphile."
I do not believe in the laws of physics: I accept the fact that they exist and that they are immutable. The device in question does not work the way the video shows because it cannot.
Immutable, eh. Like the laws of the Medes and the Persians. 8-)
So if it did work it would be supernatural?
Perhaps OC and AL should start a religion. The OCAL Church. I'm sure plenty of Yanks would be prepared to worship at it. ;-) - especially in the light of its alternative name WhipMag.
Please act the clown in your YouTube channel, not mine. The video in question is a fraud; a lie; a sham; a deception. The inventor did not "get his fingers burnt" by magic--- he did it by adding electricity and the hiding that fact from his video.
EXPLANATION NUMBER TWO: The whole thing is just a disguised induction motor, no optics or stator contacts needed. There are larger magnets inside the spinning disk and electromagnet coils under the table and a motor controller circuit.
Just like a 'direct drive' turntable (for playing records). Anybody remember turntables?
No it is not idiotic. The person that did the clip could take the opportunity to rebut the explanations if he wanted to but he won't.
A reed switch is a remote possibility. It needs close proximity to a magnet to trigger and that is not apparent. It also would likely perform poorly or fail at high switching frequencies and the disk spins quite fast. Optical-anything is quick and easy.
Nobody claims it does not work. The fact is that it cannot work the way the "inventor" claims it works. Energy is being added, probably via electricity.
The key is the silver tape at the end of the black strip on top of the disk. A photocell is aimed at the silver tape to pick up a reflection. The photocell triggers an electromagnet under the table to pulse. There is a single larger magnet under the disk to complete the 'motor circuit' with the electromagnet and the photocell.
When he picks up the disk it slows down because the photocell loses contact with the silver tape reflection.
if you want to come up with a believable way for it to be faked why not just say Reed Switch... or a fan! lol... easy enough to fake. though it would look exactly the same if it was genuine.
This is actually the real deal. Ironic, the inventor does not believe in overunity and will not call it that. It is an anomaly. We have the exact dimension and are replicating this "anomaly". So, close your eyes, stop your ears, and chant to yourself, "It is not, it is not..."
who is this jerk, speaking, in the video ? why do you think anybody should contact you for you to come and inspect the device???Do you acctually know what authors of the device and original video say on this-they never claimed FE or OU...
"... do you have a scientific degree or smthg like that...."
No, I never finished high school. Why do you ask? The device in question is a fraud--- surely that is obvious to anyone who comprehends basic high school physics. What's YOUR excuse?
ecuse of what? why should i have one?You are the one saying that author should contact YOU for YOU to expect the device and "bring it to the world-so i asked you what are you for anyone to believe you....rofl...just go and have some more drink....
"Thank you: yes, the video in question is a lie: a fraud; a sham; a deception. The device does not work the way the liar claims it does because it CANNOT."
So what claims does he make? Are you referring to specific, verbal claims - or just your personal inferences - based on the video?
An increase in RPMs to two orders of magnitude: that is impossible using only magnets--- an external source of power, such as an electromagnet, is required.
Well, i do not want to speak for Alsetalokin here....if you are interested contact him and ask directly....as to what i know he has stated rather clear-he doesn't know wht that "effect" is.
"The video shows the device's RPMs increasing via magic...."
Exactly so: that is why the video is a deception and the device is a fraud. RPM increase means an increase in torque, which means more work, which means more energy. Electricity must be added to the device for it to do what it did in the video.
Desertphile, Try to watch the video one more time. Perhaps a couple of times more. Try reading the description of the video (seriously, I do hope you know how to read). No rush.. Take your time. Read the description several times. Watch the video again. Read the description once more. And now, please, watch you moronic video response. Feeling stupid, dude? I sure hope you do... There is some hope for you then.
Thank you: yes, the video in question is a lie: a fraud; a sham; a deception. The device does not work the way the liar claims it does because it CANNOT. Please consider some remedial high school physics lessons.
"And I was kinda thinking that science is all about measurements...."
Yes, and the video in question pretends to refute over 3,000 years of science and all of modern physics, as well as the very laws of nature. And you appear to be defending that video. Doesn't that make you feel just a wee bit foolish?
there's a buttload of videos right here, on YouTube, claiming all sorts of "overunity", "perpetual motion" and whatnot... There are even some videos posted by companies, that actually SELL "fuelless magnetic motors" (e.g. Perendev). You can "buy" a 300 KW unit for just 38000 euros :) They are the REAL criminals, dude.
And of all these you just had to pick the one, that actually does not make any "overunity" claims whatsoever. WHY?
"And of all these you just had to pick the one, that actually does not make any "overunity" claims whatsoever. WHY?"
I have made videos regarding other "free energy" videos that debunk them. I was asked to debunk the video in question by someone who was considering building a replica.
"Your Mythbuster Wannabe Quest for Truth has started in a VERY wrong place, dude."
The video in question is a fraud; a lie; a scam; a deception. The video shows a device doing that which it cannot do via magnetic fields alone--- energy *WAS* added, secretly, because it *MUST* be added for the device to do what the video claims it did. Why would I not debunk the video since it's a fraud?
I personaly read through all the posts at the Steorn site, and found that everything that Desertphile has said in this video about OC MPMM - Alsetalokin's Video is a complete lie.
Neither the inventor nor the maker of this device claim it to be Over Unity. The maker claims that what is happening is only an artifact and it will only spin like this for up to 3 hrs.
"everything that Desertphile has said in this video about OC MPMM - Alsetalokin's Video is a complete lie."
No, what I have stated is a fact, and confirmed by every physicist on the planet. The video is a lie: the device cannot work as it is claimed it does.
if the device is not over-unity then it is pointless as a power generating device. It is simply a device with low overall energy loss, which is cute, but useless as attaching a device greatly increases the resistance ruining the "perpetual motion". Assuming it works at all.
As shown in the original video, RPM increases by two orders of magnitude: without electricity or some form of energy being added, the device cannot do that.
"Lets say for now that the device cannot spin for a few hours as claimed."
That is not my complaint. My complaint is that for RPM to increase from a few dozen RPMs to a few THOUSAND, energy in the form of electricity *WAS* added, but the video does not show that fact. The video is a sham.
He never said it was a perpetual motion machine. The name OC MPMM comes from the fact that the person (OC) who inspired it said that, though he did not believe in PMM's this would be an interesting experiment.
What the machine does is not impossible, and it is not a violation of C of E, and it is not a PMM.
He elimintes drag and the thing speeds up, how is that impossible?
It is running on EM field in the room, or heat in the room, or it is a new kind of magnetic flywheel, or reacting to doppler flux or whatever.
If Al was claiming OU, I would agree with you, but he is a product tester in an independant lab by trade, WHO DEBUNKS PEOPLE MAKING WILD CLAIMS AND SAYS PMM'S CAN'T POSSIBLY WORK!
If you believe that you must be pretty freaked out when a skater pulls in her arms and increases velocity! Let me ask you, what happens if you remove some drag from a rotating flywheel?
Take high school physics. You got the Conservation of Energy part right, but if you think a PART of a system can never accelerate without added energy, you need to take more.
"Energy part right, but if you think a PART of a system can never accelerate without added energy, you need to take more."
Exactly. He has discarded CoM as an explanation, without any supporting evidence or even commentary.
I'm familiar with similar single-rotor devices which display spin-down times in the tens of minutes, in free air. Most people don't have the slightest clue how much friction may be produced in even the finest off-the-shelf bearings.
"Go to Steorn forums and read the discussions before you embarass yourself further."
Yeah, I did: it's still a lie, a fraud, a sham. The device in question does not work the way the video claims it does: energy is being added by a hidden source.
What's wrong with his current job? He's a cowboy. Yes, cowboys actually exist outside of television, and yes, they can have internet access these days.
i hope this guy contacts you...but he never will.if his claims were true he wouldnt show it on youtube until it was patented, for fear of a copycat. dontcha think?
he hasn't just shown it on youtube. He has provided enough data online for it to be replicated... he is *encouraging* copycats... I'm looking forward to seeing other peoples results.
It's upto people to make there own choice to replicate, if you have followed what hes said, you will know he is NOT claiming anything but an interesting anomaly, he does NOT claim OU, he does NOT claim perpetual motion, btw, get your own bloody money and try to replicate, stop trying to push for a free holiday!
"... you will know he is NOT claiming anything but an interesting anomaly...."
The video clearly shows he is pushing a fraud; a sham; a lie; a deception. He is encouraging people to squander their money and time on a lie. Why are you defending that evil behavior?
A sham? A lie?! A fraud?!?! Never fear! Captain Desertphile will save us! Using his incredible powers he will dial 911 ever so bravely! Seriously, dude. I wanna see what will happen... Go for it, tiger... You know you wanna :) Call 911 Call FBI Call CIA Get a job (oops!) Let the unsuspecting world know or we all doomed!!! Doomed.... :(
Notice how when he stops two of the magnets the device speeds up -- this shows that those two magnets were receiving energy by providing resistance -- they were not producing any energy. If he stopped the third magnet the device would get even faster for the same reason.
Exactly so. He is adding electricity to the device. The power hum deliberately added to the video give a hint: it is to mask a different noise. I noticed that on another "free energy" YouTube video, where the maker added clicking noises to an otherwise zero volume noise level.
All things move towards equilibrium. His motor may spin for a short time (assuming no battery motor attached) but it will not spin for ever.
Should anyone ever discovery "free energy" I highly doubt they, or their neighbors 3 miles away would live to tell about it because it will most likly be the equilivant of an atom bomb going off.
"I can find the power source as well as anyone else on the planet."
Good gods I'd hope so. With all the racket that thing was making, it's a wonder it turned at all. That poor little motor underneath it was having a helluva time!
He isn't claiming over unity... He is just poinitng out an observed result of this configuration. I am also yet to be convinced since I don't believe PMMs can work over unity, though the plans for replicating the device are online so you are free to build one yourself.
"He is just poinitng out an observed result of this configuration."
What the fuck do you mean by "observed result?" YOU DIDN'T SEE THE DEVICE ACTUALLY DO ANYTHING. All you saw was what the clown wanted you to see. Did you see the batteries? No, you did not--- but they are there.
I used to have one of those devices, only it was much smaller. Needless to say, it was self-contained (lift object to show no attached wires) and it was powered by a BATTERY. Perpetual motion loses again.
to actually have perpetual motion you'd have to negate the effects of friction and gravity on the object.coriolis effect may even come into play. i'm not sure.
In actuality sophomore solid state physics student routinely perform real perpetual motion experiments in their laboratory, by setting superconducting current into motion in a closed superconducting loop.
The life expectancy is essentially forever; The best estimate on the inverse exponential decay to half value is some 10exp23 years
[Charles Kittel, "Introduction to Solid State Physics," 7th Edition, Wiley, NY, 1996 p. 359-360]
Someone has invented a machine that will revolutionize not only the technological world, but all of physics. He has brought about a new paradigm in science.
Yet he doesn't think to use the machine to improve the poor lighting conditions.
I would have used more of the original video but I don't want the ass filing a DMCA complaint against my video. Notice how his motor sped up at an astonishing rate of RPMs at the end of the video? And he expects people to believe him!
Because people have been known to take fraudulent devices and decieve people into getting money for them. DP is simply warning those who might be fooled into handing over their cold hard cash for such a device.

Please act the clown in your YouTube channel, not mine. The video in question is a fraud; a lie; a sham; a deception. The inventor did not "get his fingers burnt" by magic--- he did it by adding electricity and the hiding that fact from his video.
Desertphile 4 years ago
EXPLANATION NUMBER TWO: The whole thing is just a disguised induction motor, no optics or stator contacts needed. There are larger magnets inside the spinning disk and electromagnet coils under the table and a motor controller circuit.
Just like a 'direct drive' turntable (for playing records). Anybody remember turntables?
Drevtoobe 4 years ago
EXPLANATION NUMBER THREE : Reed Switch
EXPLANATION NUMBER FOUR : FAN
EXPLANATION NUMBER FIVE : ...
IT WORKS!!!
Speculation is useless... in the end all we have to go on is a video and so simply shouting ITS A FRAUD! or IT WORKS! is completely idiotic.
introvertebrate 4 years ago
No it is not idiotic. The person that did the clip could take the opportunity to rebut the explanations if he wanted to but he won't.
A reed switch is a remote possibility. It needs close proximity to a magnet to trigger and that is not apparent. It also would likely perform poorly or fail at high switching frequencies and the disk spins quite fast. Optical-anything is quick and easy.
Drevtoobe 4 years ago
"The person that did the clip could take the opportunity to rebut the explanations if he wanted to but he won't."
That is not necessary: nobody has the job of explaining the trick. It is the job of the clown who produced the fake to explain it.
Desertphile 4 years ago
"IT WORKS!!!"
Nobody claims it does not work. The fact is that it cannot work the way the "inventor" claims it works. Energy is being added, probably via electricity.
Desertphile 4 years ago
Not likely induction since it's going too fast. I suspect a motor inside the rotter itself, with a battery.
Desertphile 4 years ago
Ha Ha Ha... another amateur con/prank.
Drevtoobe 4 years ago
ahem... laser tach...
if you want to come up with a believable way for it to be faked why not just say Reed Switch... or a fan! lol... easy enough to fake. though it would look exactly the same if it was genuine.
introvertebrate 4 years ago
"if you want to come up with a believable way for it to be faked why not just say Reed Switch."
Nobody needs to come up with an explanation for how the device is getting its energy: the person who made the video must explain it, and he refuses.

This is actually the real deal. Ironic, the inventor does not believe in overunity and will not call it that. It is an anomaly. We have the exact dimension and are replicating this "anomaly". So, close your eyes, stop your ears, and chant to yourself, "It is not, it is not..."

So what claims does he make? Are you referring to specific, verbal claims - or just your personal inferences - based on the video?
drlegendre 4 years ago
"So what claims does he make?"
An increase in RPMs to two orders of magnitude: that is impossible using only magnets--- an external source of power, such as an electromagnet, is required.
Desertphile 4 years ago
Well, i do not want to speak for Alsetalokin here....if you are interested contact him and ask directly....as to what i know he has stated rather clear-he doesn't know wht that "effect" is.

WhatIsScientology 4 years ago
"The video shows the device's RPMs increasing via magic...."
Exactly so: that is why the video is a deception and the device is a fraud. RPM increase means an increase in torque, which means more work, which means more energy. Electricity must be added to the device for it to do what it did in the video.

Yes, and the video in question pretends to refute over 3,000 years of science and all of modern physics, as well as the very laws of nature. And you appear to be defending that video. Doesn't that make you feel just a wee bit foolish?
Desertphile 4 years ago
Answer me this, Desertphile:
there's a buttload of videos right here, on YouTube, claiming all sorts of "overunity", "perpetual motion" and whatnot...
WHY?
lackslax 4 years ago

Desertphile 4 years ago
People, this is what drugs can do to a person.
MrDi11 4 years ago
"everything that Desertphile has said in this video about OC MPMM - Alsetalokin's Video is a complete lie."
No, what I have stated is a fact, and confirmed by every physicist on the planet. The video is a lie: the device cannot work as it is claimed it does.
Desertphile 4 years ago
Ok, fine Desertphile. Lets say for now that the device cannot spin for a few hours as claimed.
Being that they are not claiming over unity, what law of physics are they then breaking to make a phoney video like this?
MrDi11 4 years ago
if the device is not over-unity then it is pointless as a power generating device. It is simply a device with low overall energy loss, which is cute, but useless as attaching a device greatly increases the resistance ruining the "perpetual motion". Assuming it works at all.
Krello 4 years ago
"Assuming it works at all."
As shown in the original video, RPM increases by two orders of magnitude: without electricity or some form of energy being added, the device cannot do that.
Desertphile 4 years ago
"Lets say for now that the device cannot spin for a few hours as claimed."
That is not my complaint. My complaint is that for RPM to increase from a few dozen RPMs to a few THOUSAND, energy in the form of electricity *WAS* added, but the video does not show that fact. The video is a sham.

MakesMeAngry 4 years ago
What the machine does is not impossible, and it is not a violation of C of E, and it is not a PMM.
He elimintes drag and the thing speeds up, how is that impossible?
It is running on EM field in the room, or heat in the room, or it is a new kind of magnetic flywheel, or reacting to doppler flux or whatever.
If Al was claiming OU, I would agree with you, but he is a product tester in an independant lab by trade, WHO DEBUNKS PEOPLE MAKING WILD CLAIMS AND SAYS PMM'S CAN'T POSSIBLY WORK!
Itried30names 4 years ago
"What the machine does is not impossible...."
Yes, it is impossible: it is powered by electricity that the fraudster has hidden. Any bright eight-year-old will know that: what';s your excuse?
Desertphile 4 years ago
If you believe that you must be pretty freaked out when a skater pulls in her arms and increases velocity! Let me ask you, what happens if you remove some drag from a rotating flywheel?
Take high school physics. You got the Conservation of Energy part right, but if you think a PART of a system can never accelerate without added energy, you need to take more.
Itried30names 4 years ago
"Energy part right, but if you think a PART of a system can never accelerate without added energy, you need to take more."
Exactly. He has discarded CoM as an explanation, without any supporting evidence or even commentary.
I'm familiar with similar single-rotor devices which display spin-down times in the tens of minutes, in free air. Most people don't have the slightest clue how much friction may be produced in even the finest off-the-shelf bearings.
drlegendre 4 years ago
Go to Steorn forums and read the discussions before you embarass yourself further.
If he claimed OU, I would beat you to insisting it is a hoax. This is an experiment--a non PMM, experiment.
Itried30names 4 years ago
"Go to Steorn forums and read the discussions before you embarass yourself further."
Yeah, I did: it's still a lie, a fraud, a sham. The device in question does not work the way the video claims it does: energy is being added by a hidden source.
Desertphile 4 years ago
You idiot, the maker says that there is no way it is over unity. He SAYS it is an artifact.
Do a little investigation before you make an fool of yourself next time.
Itried30names 4 years ago
"You idiot, the maker says that there is no way it is over unity."
The video shows it is performing the impossible: it is therefore a sham.
MakesMeAngry 4 years ago
The "artifact" is electricity: he added a battery and hid that fact. That is the only way the device can operate as it does in the video.

Notice how when he stops two of the magnets the device speeds up -- this shows that those two magnets were receiving energy by providing resistance -- they were not producing any energy. If he stopped the third magnet the device would get even faster for the same reason.

themadhair 4 years ago
"This isn't rocket science but it is deception."
Exactly so. He is adding electricity to the device. The power hum deliberately added to the video give a hint: it is to mask a different noise. I noticed that on another "free energy" YouTube video, where the maker added clicking noises to an otherwise zero volume noise level.
