  • I can't imagine growing up without The Beatles -- they made us "the greatest generation".

  • why even complain the BITCH takes it all. sound familiar? If it doesn't your in denial!!

  • George Harrison Forever 1943 - 2001

  • i love this song, anyone else hear the music machines cover of this?

  • Great song.

  • All of the Beatles are great musicians together or individually, but I read where when John was asked if he thought Ringo was the best drummer in the world, his response was "he's not even the best drummer in the Beatles!" I thought that was funny! Doesn't have any relevance here, but I thought I would share that with you while I was thinking about it!

  • No dumb ass, that's Paul playing the lead guitar solo on this song, he actually was a guitar player first before he played bass for The Beatles! Go do your homework know it all!!!

  • well i hate to burst your bubble but that is GEORGE on lead guitar!!!

  • @hotvideosist Paul played LEAD guitar and BASS on this tune!!! Do your homework before you shoot your mouth off!!!

  • @MrDaveshere Always thought George played bass on this while McCartney did lead

  • @hotvideosist NO, it's Paul playing lead but George played bass

  • @hotvideosist The solo was done by Paul McCartney. I think that's when he showed Harrison what he though it should sound like... it was not supposed to be the final result (just an idea) but the producer still recorded it and they found it worked great... (and they were right) ;)

  • cant share cuz theres no picture.

  • Taxman, Definition: Steal from the worker to fund corporate welfare.

  • I'm like really blown away at this shit. I like all music, when it comes to rock, more of the older version rock like this, or as current as NIRVANA or White Lion, I dig them too. I'm a brother from L.A. Mostly hip-hop in my blood. Real hip-hop, not garbage Drake type shit (he's aight, not my taste), I dig R&B, Jazz&Blues as well. So I'm an equal opportunist with music. This Beatles stuff, I knew they were the shit, BUT DAMN! I LOVE the instrumental of this. At 35 years young, just getting hip.

  • Paul's a great musician. Probably the best Beatle..

  • @MrPieterWittenberg George wrote this song and it's his voice as lead singer. Paul is playing bass (wahoo). If you'd like to make such a statement it'd be best to make it on a song where he's not just in the chorus.

  • george veru underrated beatle

  • It was actually Paul McCartney was the one playing the solo. George felt like Paul didn't want to help him finish the taxman so he went to John and they both finished it. But in the end Paul agreed to play the solo. Paul is a good all around artists.

  • Georges best song. Paul has so much talent it is crazy. I love the remake George made of this song, a little different beat with Clapton playing background.

  • Michael Collier 1991 remake for anthlogoly.

  • 'Cause I'm the Taxman.. Yeea! Taxman ! :D <3

  • Amazing riffs! Takes me back - my mum used to play this all the time when I was a kid - she was a massive Beatles' fan! :o)

  • composição lembra muito o Raul Seixas

    bela música

bastante detalhes pra ser analisada, não só a letra como o som, de um modo geral.

  • The Beatles were the strongest voice of a generation of many strong, talented voices. Nature set them apart for a reason. It is so we do not just think they were just another great band, so we look closer and listen a little better. When we do, we will that they were prophets. Go to TruthContest (dot) com, open The Present, and read the section about The Beatles.

  • @vividDC That's why John said they were more popular than Jesus? I just like their music. And you messed up, you missed a word. "When we do, we will that they were prophets." They were just an extraordinary band, with great music at a great time.

  • Perfect

  • I think Paul did the bass line, the lead, the vocals, background harmonies, rhythm guitar and drums on this one......right? LMAO Who cares who did what on this classic timeless piece? Just soak up the riffs and take comfort in the lyric.

  • Without question..........one of my favorite bass riffs of all time. This cut was, is, and remains a timeless classic.

  • I love this song, it's terrific. :-)

  • I'm sure that's George Harrison's guitar solo - he wrote the song and Paul is playing bass, not guitar.

  • @UncleAnti You are wrong. If you don't believe me, just google it. Every source, legit and not legit, will say the same thing.

  • @stampede331 This is straight from wikipedia (not always right but a good enough source), "Paul McCartney – backing vocal, bass, lead guitar solo" and "George Harrison – double-tracked lead vocal, lead guitar" , so the guitar was George except for the solo.

  • Who would dare dislike this song.

  • Mean taxman...

  • Should five percent appear to small..

Be thankfull I dont take it all

  • GREAT STUFF. Thanks.

  • So many classic parts in this song..but what had not hit me til the remaster is the way the bass goes ape at 0.57. Pretty awesome stuff

  • Wow Paul's bassline is incredible.

  • @diamonddust22 And Pauls guitar solo is briliant too .....

  • @boxermaner absolutely

  • @boxermaner That's Harrison. . . Not Paul. . .

  • @SkateingIsWhatsUp

No, no, it's McCartney. George wrote and sang it but Paul played the solo!

  • @SkateingIsWhatsUp - Hard to believe, but no, it IS Paul playing the solo, while double-tracked on bass. Here's what Wikipedia has about it: "In 1987, Harrison stated: 'I was pleased to have Paul play that bit on "Taxman". If you notice, he did like a little Indian bit on it for me.' Ian MacDonald praised McCartney's contributions to the song saying his guitar solo was 'outstanding' and his bass part was 'remarkable'."

  • @boxermaner And George's everything is just great.

  • @noorbe1 Just would like to correct you but am not attacking you. Eric Clapton had nothing to do with this song. He played electric guitar on While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Paul did write this bass line and the guitar solo for this song. George enjoyed the Indian tinged solo and appreciate Paul's contributions.

  • @diamonddust22 He's actually a very underrated bass player

  • @diamonddust22 george play the bass, paul play excelente his guitar!

  • @MARIObroxs Paul plays the bass and George plays guitar. Get it right.

  • @diamonddust22 search in wikipedia, the bassline is of George and the solo is of Paul

  • @diamonddust22 I know i just learned it !!!

  • @diamonddust22 Fauls*

  • @diamonddust22 Yep... best original bass player alive... i humbly think ;)

  • @kevinhaast The bass part on the lyrics "If you get too cold... etc" is just phenomenal, very hard to cover...

  • Great Work 5/5

  • Great video, great sound, thanks

  • fuck the taxman sell on the street and squat piracy rules
