Well, I only have the tape recorded from the old single very long time ago,in which the quality is bad,another one is from FM radio station,including the DJ voice.

No,I think you right, cause I haven't seen those sngles since mid 70, as long as I can remember was that my dad bought two 45rpm singles of Johnny in late 50,I lsitened those songs since I was born,now I'm 53.

OK, It must be the other single which is To Proud as the A side,The Wish as B side,am I right?

Compared to Victor Wood's "The Voice of Love" I can proudly say, Victor Wood's is way better that this original song by Johnny nash. Sorry, but I'm not a Victor Wood fan.

It's one of the gems of the fifties. Pure, unadulterated LOVE.. I sang this as a growing boy in the caribbean when the only audio communication was the radio. The era of Love and "tabanca" songs. (those songs when one was grieving because you lost your loved one which left you in a stupor for days, perhaps months) Sad movies, Unchained melody,Great Pretender, Tell Laura I love her, You are my destiny, Lonely boy, Diana, Dear` Lonely heart, Twelvth of Never, Oh Carol, and on and on and on.
