@Feeluck , this song was written for the follow-up album "Music" but Madonna axed it because, according to an interiew, it gave her the "wrong tingles". It easily is better than most of the other songs on "Music". Big mistake of not having it on the album!

I love most of M's b sides and rarities..but this one is not good at all. Bad lyrics, especially. Definitely ROL sounding and would have worked as a b side on one of the singles released. Has To Be is MUCH better than this!

I thought this was cut from Ray of Light, not Music. Anyway, American Pie wasn't on Music - or maybe it was in Europe or something, maybe a re-release? It certainly wasn't on the North American album. It's kind of like in 1985 when they put Into The Groove (another soundtrack anthem) on a Like A Virgin re-release. Now that I hear more of this I'm sure this was supposed to be on Ray of Light, not Music... it is so obviously a William Orbit production.
