@desibear1000 heart rate monitor to make sure they aren't going over their max heart rate when in training...and also for other data to be collected and assessed by the coaching staff about their fitness :)
cause i've used them before doing sprint training with my college class :)
yeah it's like a belt type thing that goes around your lower chest and at the front it holds a little plastic thing with a chip in it that sends data to a computer or even a watch you can wear so you can learn about your max HR etc.... at 3:11 you see two guys looking at a computer talking numbers so it's probably from their data from the HR monitor :)
Honestly watching this from a Mexican perspective this has really made me change my view on us soccer. I think its nice to see how people are outside of the pitch. I also liked the bit where Bradley is talking about a chance that chicharito got on goal. I hope ussoccerdotcom uploads more behind the scenes vids like this. i wish mexico does the same as it would make me even more of a fan lol. I hope its Mexico vs. U.S. in the Gold Cup final.
Donovan has a Canadian parent, Altidore's parents are from Haiti, Bocanegra and Bornstein have mexican parents, Stu Holden was born in Scotland, Agudelo was born in Columbia, J.Jones born in Germany, Maurice Edu's parents migrated here too... I forget from where... I fully support my multi-culti team ! USA! USA! USA! "El equipo de todos"
@ClaraGomesFutebol What are you talking about. Every USMNT player with the exception of Jones was either born in the U.S., grew up in the U.S., or was nurtured by a U.S. system, be it MLS academies, youth soccer, college, etc. Many have parents who were immigrants, but all of them grew up in the States. The team is improving because the system is slowly improving. The team isn't getting better because of some sudden influx of immigrants. We ain't Qatar!!
the US is deffinently stepping up their A-Game since most soccer players now are immigrants, but i don't think the USMNT will ever be as good as say, Spain, Brasil, Portugal, Argentina, or Italy.
@ClaraGomesFutebol yeah they are stepping up they just need to play that way early on cus there sloppy at the beginning of the game but then there good when its too late. but they are getting better the could be as good as some of the teams mentioned but not better i think they could be a team that can be considered a dangerous opponent if they (teams besides usa) dont play with care
@ClaraGomesFutebol actually on the team the only immigrant per say would be Juan Agudelo born in Colombia and Jermaine Jones born in Germany that are US Citizens
@lenlen2004 no i mean like, alot of people from different countries are moving to america, so in future years the team could potentionally be made up of mostly immigrants.
@ClaraGomesFutebol true but don't forget that soccer is becoming more and more popular especially with younger people now that they are growing up with MLS
@lenlen2004 yeah, like i was born in brasil, and all the kids there are amazing, and kids from the US or canada (where i live now) don't even come close
@randypicklesanchez i think it's fair to say if the us and mexico play like they're supposed to play they will meet in the final. it's only natural to know who the dangerous players are and watch video on them. i doubt they're scared of him, they just know he's good.
None of them had a winning attitude going into the Spain game and it obviously showed in the result. If someone is going to travel across the ocean to play you, at least have the courtesy to put out a good effort.
@davidrc517 We had the courtesy to pay them at least. That's the reason they came. In any case, we beat them when it counted two years ago, so I'm just fine with the team saving their strength for when it counts this summer.
The football part was hilarious, it wasn't fair though because Jermaine and Pierre didn't play growing up in France and Germany for the most part hahah I love Deuce
1:01--Agudelo, this is the big league. You gotta be able to handle your ice baths man, haha. Still support you.

This is a cool behind the scenes look at the team. It's great to see the unity of the team as they go forward in the Gold Cup.
