I just got this one after selling my third gen Nano (since I think the sixth gen one is a rip off), but I've noticed that with the same number of songs it feels slower than the oldone. For example, if I select a specific song there is often a few seconds before the screen does anything or the song starts playing, often making me click again making something else happen which is really annoying. I've already tried a fact. reset, and since it uses flash memory defrag won't help, what should I do?

This is my favorite version of the iPod nano. The video camera is pretty decent and I'm loving it. The 6th generation was the biggest step back and like ironwolg said, they should've called it the iPod shuffle.

Yeah I can see few applauses there. Which is strange, because, if you ask me, an MP3 player who can record videos (with good quality, equal to most of the mobiles out there right now) is actually a cool tool.

But I kinda know why.

First. The price.

Ipod nano costs. It rocks, but it costs.

Second, the timing.

The previous Ipod was out in september 2008, this new one came out in september 2009.

Just 1 year.

Everyone who bought the fourth generation one was like "fuck you steve jobs" lol

Easy if U have thing Vista/Windows 7 Well U can use a program called snipping tool and if Ur in XP download this thing called PRTSCN take a picture of video for example of you doing diffrent poses ok after go on itues watch the video and then pause the pose you want then use whatever program snip or pryscn and crop the part you want like in pryscn hold CTRL and then crop and thats it

Zune is not that bad...does not have the market share as apple but one good thing about it is that it is much more durable. Good effort on Microsoft's part but a quite late in entering in the MP3 business. I doubt they will steal any significant market share from Apple.

They need to offer something different than what Apple has in order to pull at least 5 or 10% more market share. The Zune HD is innovative in a sense but the only upside to that is new OLED screen and the fact that it is completely HD. I'm seriously tempted to get the Zune HD but I am holding back since I have the feeling Apple will come out with something better next year.
