  • psychedelic, electronic, surrealism, that i dig cos its different to anything else!. well pink floyd is the only thing that could be on same level of complete mad synths ov the quality FSOL,But pink floyd has some far mental sounding songs.

  • Ive been listening to the lifeforms videos on here and i gotta say not only is the music sublime, the visuals are amazing too! What's this about there being a DVD or something with the album on together with the visuals? Ive found one on amazon with only Lifeforms and Cascade... is there a DVD (or VHS) with the whole album set to visuals like the vids on here? Cheers

  • You said it man, this is art.

  • EXACTLY! Well said mate.

  • @killuminati7777777 don't forget the 90's had it's share of crap music. without knowing I'd guess you were a teenager sometime in the 90's and thats why you think it's music is so great. great music from the 90s is as good as great music from any other time.

  • @kurumako agreed

  • @killuminati7777777 could not of said it any better myself!!!!!!!!!, bruv

  • @killuminati7777777

    NICELY PUT !

  • TIESTO is a perfect example of what u mean!!!!!!! empty, soulless, repetitive nothingness!!!!!!!! ADD SCOOTER TO HIM TOO!!!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE MEDIOCRE!!!!!!!!!!

  • @killuminati7777777 disagree: aliens would listen to soulja boy and lil wayne if they really wanted to have an excuse for wiping us out without guilt...Luckily i play this at full volume to beam my frequency to the surrounding galactic communities to prove we actually have deep emotions other than bloodlust and greed, NASA heard my sound waves and thought I was signalling for the mothership! They heard 20secs of this track and said crack on Brudda!

  • This is from Lifeforms, great album. Try some stuff from orbital, biosphere, the orb and selected ambient works 85-92 from Aphex Twin as well, you'll probably like it.

  • from what i now , FSOL - Cascade was released in 1993.

  • FSOL ↔ BRAIN∞

  • I must be the only person on the planet who doesn't need to smoke drugs, My head is constantly fucked.

  • @YorkshirePunk01 apparently I'm in the same boat.

  • @YorkshirePunk01 You dont need for any reasons to use drugs , you already have all the drugs effect/sensations in your energy. You can activate anything you want in you. Every creation possible is hidden somewhere in your soul. But for this you need to open the door of conscience.

  • @Dreamingsens i wish someone would of said this to jim morrison

  • @YorkshirePunk01 If you need drugs to enhance an experience then you are fairly immune to an uninfluenced experience. I have pity for people who fail to see beauty without drugs. The drugs won't open up your mind for you. Drug induced 'expansion' of perception is a cheap method of opening up your mind.

If you look at this world, look to the stars and see everything in its element, and question what you really are, you will experience something so profound, drugs will seem irrelevant.

  • 00:1 00:2 00:3 00:4 00:5

  • Is he holding bud at 1:00?

  • lol yep thats a big loada o stinky gringo my friend

  • I've been looking for this track for years, and now I finally found it! Saw it on MTV many years ago but didnt catch the name.

This video brings good memories and tears to my eyes...

  • @Schumilight I recomend you the CD of Sasha & John Digweed "Northern Exposure" edited by Ultra Records. This track of FSL is included as a mix of a total of 11 invaluable tracks. The sound is really incredible... d-_-b

  • This has to be the most beautiful sound ever composed. FSOL Respect!

  • fsol are pure brilliance

love all the video/imaging stuff they do too

  • i love this people

  • Brain Food

  • A timeless classic of electronic music, genius use of original samples and textures and organic ambience. This piece is a whole music genre of its own, a lifeform.

  • very nice

  • have you heard anything like THAT before?

I think, for the sake of music, FSOL must have their brains preserved after they die!

    another song from another galaxy!

  • i remember watching that video on mtv's party zone. i was stoned and it was an amazing trip...

    thx 4 that flashback

  • Wasn't The Chillout Zone on afterwards?

  • yeah thats also possible, long time ago ;-)

  • MASTER !!!

  • We had the original Cascade Ep, man that was one hell of an afternoon listening to that. We instantly became FSOL junkies to this day.

  • Ok, this track did it for me and my crew because when Future Sound of London

released - Cascade, we hadn't heard anything like this before, when the "BREAKS" kicked in we went nuts. You can just imagine the dance moves we came up with. PEACE

  • this one is not from earth!!!!

  • it makes me upside down

  • an alien by the name of Alf made this on melmac

  • thanks for info. :-)

  • sasha and john digweed

  • I think that FSOL had most influence on creation the GOA-Trance.

  • FSOL in a class of their own. Untouchable.

Wish i could thank them for what they've created. Their music has helped me.

  • i just had a seizure. this shit roxxx!

  • I'm lovin these guys....

  • did i talk to much? sorry.

  • i love that song! i could listen to it all day!

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaand, i love these forms on the video. aaaaaaaaaaaaand, great job! aaaaaaaaaaaaand, keep up the good work. aaaaaaaaaaaaand, bye.

  • that would calm me down if I'm upset or grumpy.

  • Great song, such a great video - love the graphics, even if they do look primitive by today's standards.

  • I remember them back in the beginning of the 90ies.

  • im so happy that i was around at the start of fsol amazing they should be doing this kinda music with directors of films id love to hear this shit in a si fi film that would be the nuts this stuff was well a head of time spinetingling tearjerking rollcoster ride of emotions total respect to fsol future sound of london

  • Have you seen Sunshine? The soundtrack is reminiscent and fits really well you would probably like it.

  • i dunno where sunshine is...

  • Sunshine was shite.

  • ...or just something nice for hippies to look at when they're coming down from acid and E? (joke). Their music is cool though, very organic - Orbus Terrarum by the Orb is also really good, although I think it's been discontinued now, alas.

  • lucky enuff i have a copy of this and that same orb(the best ever). all original cds. Im still coming down from my acid and e-tips from the early 90's from san fran to portland, to seattle.

  • check out the Papisco 12" mix, but gotta love the original

  • that reminds me of Blender (a music software that synchronizes music tracks with 3D videos of strange forms) if I remember correctly :P nice vid btw

  • A musical masterpiece, nothing less.

  • I agree 100%!!

  • Gundam, this is cascade, its one of the mixes released as an EP, you will probably be familiar with the lifeforms album version.

    Tune!

  • Yes, there's some brilliant remixes on the Cascade single Ep, inclding this one. This takes me back. One of the FSOL boys, not sure which - Gary Dougain - can't remeber his name now, has a similar haircut to what I had in the early 90s. The centre parting and shaved underneath - embarrassing really.

  • one morning in the past and a dj in the radio (evosonic) plays this song and trhe whole mcd. I cant forget this for years...

  • Simply gorgeous.. The sound of Northern Exposure.

  • astounding. havent heard this tune since i was 16.

  • this is amazin

  • I wanna hear this when I float up to heaven, unfortunatly Im probably going to hell ....so its Rick Astley for me. Bugger.

  • the pictures are ok but not the song and the people in the picture this is not CASCADE

  • which version is this? this is better than what is on lifeforms!

  • Sasha and John Digweed remix

  • This tune requires a high end sound system in order to hear it at its best, so you can feel it as well as hear it, and oh my god is it good. Its one of those rare tunes that is actually an expierience rather than simply a record.

    Amazing.

  • It is good that somebody can still do music in 21st Century

  • It was actually released in 1993.

  • so you'd like to say that they haven't released any album after 2001?

  • 2006

  • For me Future Sound Of London are Gods of Electronik music. <:)

  • This song is so beautiful

  • thank you baby jesus for this wonderful music

  • this is really timeless!

  • My absolute favorite track of all time! Sven Väth - L'Esperanza comes second and then Big Men Cry by Banco De Gaia.

  • This is somewhat so genuine..

    And perfect..

    Amazing..

  • Gorgeous, there music transports me to jungles and deserts.

  • FSOL are true modern time geniuses

  • I will soon move to London, and just love such mixture of electronica and graphics - do you know of clubs (and groups/organizations) that (still) explore such worlds? :-)
