Sunlove has not sent out products to anyone who bought the product from Oct until now. Don't expect your product... they stole from you. PLEASE contact the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint...we NEED to get this fraud company SHUT DOWN!!
HI! I have never had any really worse experiance with self tanning cause i used tanning beds but now i have decided not to use them so i would really love to try this out. i need sunlove because whre i live it is not sunny at all and i am pretty pale. it would be really great to try this out :)
I was getting a spray tan for homecoming when my mom called me and told me that my sister was about to get the dress i had just bought 2 days ago. I hurrily put on all my clothes, and ran to meet my mom in the car. Luckily, i got to macys just in time to stop my sister from buying my dress. I got home and changed for a big family dinner. During the dinner, my little cousin shouts from across the room "Katie looks like a candy cane!" i had forgotten to rub in the tan and let it dry!
i didnt wnna use a tanning bed cuz of skin cancer but didnt wanna spend the money at a salon for a spray tan so i picked up the cheapest self tanner at the drug store i had slathered it all over my body but it didnt seem to be workng so i jus kept caking it on. finally i started to see a glow. but after about an hour my tan had turned into a bright orange!! i had to walk around school the next two weeks facing my friends and ppl i didnt no who asked questions about why my face was the way it was

My worst experience was with a plug in spray tan machine, it came with this big plastic sheet that I stood on, the tan looked ok but as all of the excess went onto the sheet and I was moving about on it, the soles of my feet looked like I'd stepped in creosote! It was awful! I've been using tan for about 5 years now and always stuck with the same one, I think its time to try out a new one :)
my worst tanning experience was last year at prom. i tried mystic tan and after lots of $ wasted was left with super orange hands, feet and knees! UGH. ive tried every product out there and have not found one that gives me an even tan:( i;ve only met 1 person whiter then me! its so sad, i want to see what id look like with tan skin, it'd give me such a confidence boost! i wouldn't be able to order this product cause i live with my nana and she wont give her credit info out online, lol, i <3 her
My bad experience w/ jergens tanner lotion is that I would get streaks down my legs&would stain my socks. So I stopped the lotion and started tannin in the beds which was working up till last year I was diagnosed with Melanoma 'skin cancer' so now I can't tan and I'm scared of the self tanner lotions.. I gonna be a bridesmaid and the dress is baby yellow and I look washed out.. Please let me try the SUNLOVE to see if it will save me from looking so bale and give me confidence again. Thank you!
bought the 1st self tanner i could find. I went home and used ALL the gel that was in the tub. The 1 a bought was one that gradually got darker through the day. w/out understanding how to self tan, i just used it all, everywhere, including my face. I didn't exfoliate and thought i had to apply a body lotion b4 applying the self tanner. when we left the house you couldnt see a difference, but through the day i got more and more orange and it started to run and turn patchy. i STANK of it too OUCH!

i'm as as pale as a ghost! my worst tan experience was when i was 17. kids at school would tease me about how 'white' i was. so i bought a drugstore brand tanner. it was SO cheap. i spread it all over my body. after a week blotches appeared on my left leg and now i can't really get rid of them anymore. weird i know. they look like extra birthmarks. i'm 20 now and the only way to hide the blotches is to tan, which i try doing but it's so pricey being a college student.
My worst self tan moment was when I was getting ready to go out and I applied some st tropez and my skin just turned green! like the colour it leaves on the lid when you have had it for a while! so i had to shower it all off and go out pale :( I think I deserve to win because out of all my friends I am the one to introduce them to new self tanners! My friends always end up using what I reccomend them so it would be good to reccomend them a new one if I got the chance to try it out =)

well i dont tan because i cant. i only burn in the sun and in the tanning bed (i know its sad) anyways i did the mystic tan so i could go to the lake and show off the weight i lost. well that afternoon the girls wanted to tan so i took my clothes off (i had my new bikini on under) all sexy in front of a really hot guy and everyone started to laugh. i had orange streaks alll over me...my nickname to this day is tiger...gggrrrrr i never sunless tanned again but would LOVE to try sunlove :-D
My worst fake tan disaster was my one and only tan that i tried to do after i went to a party and i looked so white on the pictures i took with my friends. i was like glowing in the dark kind of.. but that fake tan gave me the over-cooked almost burnt look for a week which was so fake (yeh i know 'fake tan') and so unnatural then i had to wear clothes that covered up the whole body when i went out. that's why i wanna try the sunlove self tanner out coz i've heard so many good things about it.
I have really dry, pale skin and I got some of those tanning towelettes once and didn't realise they were in dark. They weren't permanent but I wiped my face with them and it clung to the dry skin on my face. Took a lot of washing off. :( Would love to try something that won't make me orange.

The worst self tanning experience I had was after reading an article in a beauty magazine that stated that all self tanning products were exactly the same because they all used the exact same ingrediants. Armed with information I went to Walmart and bought the cheapest product and ended up looking like an oompa loompa. What was the lesson learned? Don't believe everything you read, because you get what you pay for most of the time, lol.

By the time I was at the party my feet were BRIGHT orange with horrible streaks. There was no way to hid them and everyone kept pointing it out and laughing, it was so embarrassing! I have been trying self-tanner for a while and still haven't found a brand that gives me a nice even tan without being orange. (I still have nightmares about that day, ugh!) I hope I win the giveaway, I've heard amazing reviews about this product! I love your videos they are so helpful and fun to watch. :)
The worst tan disaster was when I was about 15. I have never tried self-tanners and found a bottle in my mom's bathroom. It was my best friends birthday. It was fancy even so I had to wear heels, but I'm a flats/tennies kind of girl so my feet are horribly white. I was in a hurry and did not read the instructions so when I was applying it I thought that I needed to apply a lot since I did not see an instant tan.

my biggest disaster was with mystic tan and I didn't put the booties on my feet so I was standing in a pool of self tanner and the bottoms of my feet were near black. i had to scrub layers of my skin off so I didn't look completely ridiculous.
My worst experience was during an event for school. I wore a backless dress and didn't realize until I got home that night that I had tanning streaks all over my back.
I haven't really had that many tan disasters thank god! i suppose the worst one for me was when i used a garnier tan spray a few hours before i was going out, when i was out i noticed i had gone very patchy and orange....not good!! Would love to try this tanning product and to hopefully have a good experience with a spray tan :) x

my worst self-tanning experience is with ANY self tanner they just dont work, either they make me orange or they stink so nothing really works for me and im pale so i like to hide my legs especially cause they dont tan :( i would love to have sunlove in my life because then i would never have to worry about tanners cause im too scared to go to get a spray ta cause ive seen people come out of them looking orange!
My self tanning experience was horrible instead of getting tan i got orange,i looked yucky and bloggy. Here's my tan Horror story,..I wanted to look great for my first day of college. I had just bought a super pretty peach sundress the week before school started..I noticed I was looking pale so I decided to apply a self tanner the night before ..HUGE mistake! I woke up the next morning in terror! I looked like an ompa loompa! AND to make things worse i woke up late so I wasn't able to scrub very much off. I ended up wearing long sleeves and jeans,and orange hands + face..It was SO humiliating
My worst was just before a photoshoot. I woke up looking like an orange cow. Giant patchy spots all over my body! I had a minor spazz trying to scrub it off before the shoot. Veet works VERY WELL for fixing fake-tan f-ups! FYI
I'd like to try this because I'm Irish; the kind that REFLECTS sunlight. I haven't found a faketan that's not orange/prone to spotty fading. I'd love to get my (not orange) paws on this and give it a try. I'd review it on my account too, if it worked out as well for me!
my worst tanning disaster was i tried to self-tan my legs for my high school formal the night before, and my legs turned orange! =O i had to wear nylons for formal that year.
omg so i used a lotion self tanner. it was horrible and my skin is extremely white and im kind-of embarrased of it.. i cant really go swimming in the summer because my skin is soo ugly white. i would really love to try this product out. i feel that its going to work really well. but, i tried other self tanners and my palms got orange my ancles looked multicolers, there were streeks, and i honestly looked orange so i would love to try out this product.
used a merle norman self tanner on myself and i could tell from the beginning that this was not going to be a fun experience because when i opened the bottle the smell was putrid! It smelled like old dirty pennies but i continued because my friend recommended it to me but it gave me streaky orange legs and smelly blotchy orange palms!!! ugh it took an hour to finally scrub the majority of the orange color off... but never again with the rub in self tanners

OMG so many bad taning stories my worst was when i first moved into my flat with my bf the spray in a can tanning lotions i sprayed it ll over my front and bf done my back was coming up ok so when i woke up the next morning had my outline on the carpet in our front room and was patchy everywhere tried filling in the gaps but went all weird shades it was summer and couldnt wear any skirts/dresses or strappy tops not good

I used this Loreal bronzer once, the one in a yellow bottle. It turned out blotchy and gross. Now I use the Dove one. It's okay but turns my hands orangey brown.
Im pale. Where i live theres a bunch of naturally tan people who think pale skin is unnatractive. .So i wore a mini skirt & Neutrgena Sublime to school.Thought i was so hot but I was SO orange w/ brown speckles from shaving,my feet & face had streaks, I definitely had everyone checking me out that day,too bad for the wrong reasons. People still bring it up & i havent worn skirts since. I need Sunlove because it will give me that extra confidence. Ill be more outgoing. ill wear shorts again! yay
I have a drivers tan (the left side of my upper body is MUCH tanner then the rest) so I decided to even it out with a self tanner that I'd heard a few good things about. It was one of those you had to give a few hrs to set so I did it after I showered & before bed when I woke up 3/4 of my body was ORANGE!! I was horrified & all my bf could do was laugh cause his hands were orange from helping me put it on! I'd like to not look like a spotted cow when I meet his grandparents this Christmas! :[
my WORST disaster was when i tried this marykay self tanner stuff on my skin. my mom always gives me marykay stuff first cause she can get it free cause she works there. i am SO white! i cannot tan in the sun so i tried it and it looked terrible! i wore a heavy sweatshirt and pants to school the next day in May! it was bad! it lasted a week with orange blotchy patches on my body. i only burn in the sun so theres no way i can get tan, so this sunlove stuff sounds great! thank you so much! =]
i have a redhead skintype so i don't bronze a lot even if i go in the sun, and NOTHING ever worked, and my worst experience is when I applied Clarins self tanner, and it got all messy in my belly button, on my knees and elbows and in the cracks around my hands, it was during summer and I had to wear long-sleeved shirt for almost 2 weeks ! I really would be SO happy to get the sunlove self tanner because I think it would give me confidence and yeah, I love you, thank you for everything Anna !
Hi Anna! I've had some self-tanning horrors, among them putting it al over my legs only to wake up with scaly color that made me look like I was a snake trying to molt. Gross. I live in Seattle, so the weather can be pretty nasty. SunLove would be a fantastic way to keep a glow going all year round!
Hello Anna! Thank you for this review. My worst self-tanning experience was pretty bad. It was the day before my graduation and I went and got a MYSTIC TAN. The day of the graduation, I noticed that one of my legs was tanned, and the other was my natural color. It was pretty bad. I suffer from pretty bad ACNE, so this is the reason why I do self-tanning. I would love to try this product, but I can't afford it (too many student loans)! Please consider me for the giveaway.
i get really pale during the cold seasons so i bought a fake spray tanner from walmart i got home exfoiliated, tried it out. went to bed, woke up the next morning and i looked like someone gave me orange streaks all over my body!! i was stuck like that for the rest of the week ahahahah. i was made fun of that whole week lol! & i think i deserve to win because i've tried soo many tanning products and none of them worked or lasted long enough i would love to try something that might work for me!
I think my worst self-tanning disaster was when I applied it all over my face, including the undereye area. The product kind of gathered in my undereye area and made that area even darker. It sounds like everyone says you get great results but I sill have not interest in the product. I think the mess is just way to much of a pain. I use St. Tropez and it is sooo easy.
I am so white, and i had a big night out so bought a spray tanner never used anything like it before, i was clueless! so there i was spraying and spraying thinking it was instant haaa but no- quite a few hours later the colour decided to appear, i was orange and Tangoed and so embarassed.

I bought this garnier bodylotion, which said 'summer beauty'. So one night, I was getting ready for a beauty night. I had my anniversary with my boyfriend the next day and wanted to feel totally relaxed and beautifull. So I had a bath and all that (we were going to this hotel with a swimmingpool!) and put lotion YES garnier's lotion all over my body. The next morning I had streaks everywhere! my legs, the palms of my hand and feet and between my fingers. I was soo ashamed !

hiii :D my worst self tanner incident was when one of my best friends persuaded me that i'd look great with a tan, i went to her house, i did my body first and then did my face, but as it started to develop it was just getting darker... i looked so silly and had college the next day. my skin is just so fair that it made me bright orange. and i've got red hair so i looked like an oompa loompa! haha :) sunlove looks brilliant and i'd love to find and try a tanner that doesn't make me orange! :D
i would soo love to win because my worst experience with selftanners was about 3dasy before my prom wen i desided to get rid of the paleness and look a bit more healthy. well that went terribly wrong wen i turned too orange and blotchy, my palms and elbows were the worst i think.i was soo gutted and didnt nt want to go to my on prom:( ever since i havent dared to try a fake tanner but ur review sounded really encouraging and i would love to try this product just to get my confidence back, thanxx
WTE.Well I guess it was the first time I used fake tan and really had no idea. I ended up with bright orange palms but with the creases still pale white. Oh dear My feet were a disaster and my face ended up extremely streaky. I had BLACK triangles on the webed part between my fingers and my nails turned green. I put it on miday and had to run out. so stupid of me, in the rain and ended looking like a Dalmation. I'de love to try and recommend Sun/Love. I can never find a reliable, satisfy tanner.
I currently have never tried a self tanner because I have never trusted them. But, with a real tan I get really annoyed as last year when I started school my legs were really tanned but my arms and face weren't. So everyone thought I was wearing a fake tan. It was really irritating. So I think I would like this product so it will be able to even out my tan.
One day when I put on my self tanned body lotion my boyfriend wants to bother me. he pressed his hands on my legs, hoping to leave a mark on it. I didnt think that this is going to work, but it DID! next day we wanted to go to swimming and it was so humilating, cause I do had marks of his hands everywhere! haha :D

I have also tried the St. Tropez mousse and I applied it on my face at night. The next morning I woke up to a horrible sight. It looked like it had a blotchy orange sunburn. I hid in my house for the next two days and exfoliated like crazy. Haven't had the courage to use fake tanner since! The sunlove sounds great, and i would love to try it!
as the day for my high school graduation got closer i realized i was not evenly tanned...my legs were super pale...i wanted to wear a dress and i would have to show my legs...there was no time to go tanning in the sun so i chose to try dove energy glow self tanner a few days before my graduation, it left not only my legs looking orange, but my hands as well, so i had to walk to get my diploma with my orange legs and receive my diploma with orangy hands :(...i would like something that works :)
I used self tanner to get ready for a homecoming dance. I used it the day of the dance, which was a bad idea. Because my dress was white and orange/brown patches where it met my skin wasn't very attractive.
after using self tanner, i forgot to wash my hands and went to bed.. i didn't notice the other morning but in school everybody came up to my asking what was wrong with my hands :/

I decided to try a self tanner for an instant tan. But I was so impatient that I skipped exfoliation AND applied multiple thick coats all in one sitting! BAD idea. My entire body turned to a rubbery burnt orange (I'm naturally fair) and I earned the name "Monkey Palms" b/c they were stained; including nails and cuticles. If that wasn't bad enough, I also exfoliated my skin raw everyday in attemps to reverse the damage.
I swear, it was a 1980's nightmare (THE sun worshiping days) and I was suffering from orange fruit overdose LOL! It was horrific:(

I worked at two tanning salons.. I tanned for about 3 years and I noticed I have a lot of freckles an sun damage =(. I tried sunless tan and I was going on a date.. I had orange hands and it was soo embarrasing!! I refused to tan outside or in beds because I dont want to cause anymore damage to my skin .. but I love looking tan!!! Im going to Vegas in the middle of October.. I would love to be tanned!!! sooo please help me out!! =)
I was going to the river with my bff and some hot guys. My friend has a gorgeous natural tan..me not so much so I applied some self tanner a few hours before leaving to meet up everyone. When i got there and sat down I noticed all the streaks on my legs...I looked like a tiger!!! it was sooo embarrassing! The color was bright ORANGE! when i was younger i experimented a bit with fake tan. the first time i used it i was feeling overly confident and just slapped it on without a second thought. i ended up streaky & orange. my palms looked especially crazy. i had to go to a piano lesson later that day and the piano teacher thought i had mud on my hands. so embarrassing! so i've been nervous about trying new products, but every time i do i end up with the same streaky, orangy looking mess. i'm quite pale so i'd love to have this!
I would love to try this. I live in MIAMI .. and I am soo white. I do use L'Oreal sublime and that works pretty good, but i would like to try something else.
Worst ...it's just bad when i put on self tanner, and wash my hands .. then i notice 3 hours later my wrist and hands are white and my arms are tan.
My worst self-tanner is story is that I applied the tanner and then someone came to the door, so I had to throw on clothes in a hurry. I ended up with the most bizarre fake-tan (orange) pattern all over my body and my clothes were all stained.

I had never used the type of company before and didn't know how dark I would be. They said I would look natural. Know I am the PALEST person on earth... red head.... I burn in a sec in the sun. I WAS ORANGE as an oompa loompa I couldn't even go to the graduation I was so embarassed!! =( I need this product so things like that won't ever happen! Thanks! <3

i had tried a self tanner the ones u buy @ the drugstore & it was the day before my sis wedding and i had applied it all over my body and went 2 bed. the next day i woke up n i was all streaky and orange i tried so hard to scrub it off n that just made it worse. i tried 2 get it off mostly on my face but instead i had little scrapes from scrubing 2 hard. i was so embarrassed n my sis was mad n didnt want me in the wedding any more lol
I just hope if i was able to try sunlove out I might be able to look less like a piece of fruit and more with a healthy natural colour.....I've missed out on two family holidays due to my a levels and now starting uni....and i need to catch up with every1 elses colour when they get back!!! So due to the un-natural colour of them and my incapability to apply them correctly, i ended up with CHUNKS of dark orange allll over me!!...I was used to the subtle effect of tinted moisterisers and ended up having to spend the next week with family i hadn't seen in ages looking like a chopped up orange had been thrown at me!!
Apart from tinted moisterisers....i've only ever used a self tanner once.......and it has remained my last time!!....Both my little and older sister had used these really cheap self tanner wipes and they both turned out with an amazinggggg tan whilst we were on a family trip away, so I thought surely it should work out the same for me...!?....my little sister is darker than me and my older sister is lighter than me.....and obviously being mediumly tanned wasn't something the wipes approved of.
Well, every self-tanner i've used always turns me orange..people always make fun of me because i'm so white..i don't want to kill my skin and go tanning..i'd do anything just to actually look like i have a decent tan. i always watch your videos and it's like this one could answer my prayers! lol:)

I have never had enough courage to try because I know that if there is any orange in the product whatsoever I will turn that shade.. literally.
I am a type of person who doesn't fit into MAC shades or any other foundation range for that matter.
I would love the opportunity to try a self tanner which wouldn't turn orange... so that maybe I could fit into a proper foundation range lol. It would be lovely!<3
My worst tanning experience was when i picked up a cheap spray tan to test out so that i could use it before prom.. and it worked pretty well it didnt tan too much but it gave me a nice glow.. so the night before prom i put fake tan on my front.. and it was quite late.. and i got distracted by a youtube video... and then i went to bed forgetting i had only tanned my front and so at my prom i ended up loooking uneven.. disaster :D
I decided to tan before a big tradeshow I had to attend for work. Half way through the show (so after two days shaking clients hands) one of my co-workers said what did you get on your hands?!!! They were totally streaked with orange the whole time!! It looked like I had been making mud pies in the red Georgia clay!

I've never tried a self tan, but I did go to a tanning salon and ended up with a pretty nasty orange spray tan because I didn't exfoliate beforehand. :) I think I deserve this product because I believe tanning in the sun is unhealthy for skin - so I'm going the healthy route and most of the time I look pasty white because of it! This product would be great for me to try out.
I tried various lotions.... terrible...such a hidious orange color.... and my face...yuck! I ended up not going to prom.... I would LOVE to use this product.
Spray tans are sooo messy when you do them at home. i love st tropez it's so easy and not messy! To each their own though hehe I'm to nervous to try my own spray tan!
i was watching this video on youtube and it was a girl from "FORDMODELS" and she was giving a review on a self tanner and how easy it was and it was like her favorite self tanner it wasnt those spray on instead it was those wipe ons so then im like i want to try this and i go and get it so i try it and the next day my skin was soooo uneven that u could tell it was FAKE! it was just really bad and it lasted for a long time and i didnt even get the chance to go tanning so thats y i need SUNLOVE

I forgot My worst self tanning experience was prior to my daughters wedding and I didn't have time to lay out and tan my back, so the night before (I know really stupid), I tried to self tan my back myself!, the next morning it was splotchy, but the worst of it was I miscalculated how far down I needed to go for my dress (*backless), about an inch to short! So I had to wear a shrug the whole wedding and it was HOT!. So please indulge the older set and send me one of the Kits!
So orange is not sexy at all. Or not getting all your skin. This One time I had to go to a wedding and I cant not be in the sun with out getting red all over so I got this tanning to make your skin look nice and have a glow. I was orange all over some skin was not the same color I could not take it off it was so bad. I need SUN Love because I cant be in the sun a lot cause About 3 years ago I had cancer from the sun my face. I would LOVE to have this. Make my skin look nicer
I would love a kit because, I am one of your older subscribers and really should Not sun tan anymore in the "real" sun, BUT, I love being dark!, this sounds like the perfect solution, I am not going to go stand naked in front of anyone to get it done professionally, Heck, I wouldn't even let my husband do it!

My worst tanning experience was the day before my prom i went to NYC to get a spray tan and it never dried completely. So it was starting to rub off and looked funky on my breast area. Of course my dress was low cut so I tried to cover it. Every time i do a tan myself i get the nasty colored palms and blochy legs. I think i deserve this cause I am pale. Nc 15/20 and dark brown hair almost black lol and i would love something that looks natural and is easy to use cause i am also in a wheelchair.
my freshman year in high school i wanted to get a nice, natural tan so i decided to start using a self tanner. i would put it on at night after my shower and then wear it to school the next day, and then shower it off at night and apply more, etc. One day in school a cute guy sat next to me and was like "oh my god what smells like wet dog?!" ...it was my self tanner :( so embarrassing!

My worst face-tan experience had to have been the time i tried to use a Bonnebell tanning gel. It turned all red/orange, and when i tried to wash it off, it wouldn't come off, and just made the redness worse! The worst part: I used it on my face. Yeah, that's right. =(
P.S. I don't have the patience for the gradual tanners (Jergens, ect.) , so this sounds awesome!

Im very pale. Where i live there are a bunch of naturally tan people who look at pale skin as ugly. So i wore a skirt for the 1st time & fake tanner from the drugstore to school. I was SO orange w/ brown speckles,my feet had streaks,ect. People still talk about it. I havent worn skirts since. Im still real embarrassed. Im on a students budget. I NEED Sunlove because i think it will give me confidence. I think ill be more outgoing at school. Ill be able to wear shorts & a swimsuit again! Woohoo!
Oh and i forgot to add the reason why this product would be great for me. I love tanning beds, but i hate the fact that they age you, and give you skin cancer. well my family really is trying hard for me and my twin sister to keep away from getting cancer, because my brother passed away from a cancer, and i really would want anything like that to happen to me. I love your videos. i think they are so helpful and you have a great outlook on fashion. My bad tanning experience was i bought a self tanning bottle, i forget the brand, but i tried it and the next day i woke up and i was like a vibrant orange color. i cried, and than it got worse because i showered and it made my skin burn so abd, and i was having like a crazy itching attack all over my body. ! My worst self tanning experience was using a cream tanner called Jergens Natural Glow. I thought it would be easy to use, but when it dried i realized that it was blotchy everywhere and my hands loked orange. I need this product because I have my Junior prom and i don't want to be pale like i am now for it. I really want an easy spray tanning system for this event, but i CAN'Tafford to buy it. My worst tan experience was when i first tried St. Moriz and I still had some Ambre Solaire on, I came out looking like a giraffe,it looked muddy and discusting and left my hands BLACK. Ive mastered it but its still not my favourite though i think im still scarred from it lol I would really like a chance to buy this because I havent seen it before and being a veteran self tanner id like to find one that doesnt fade patchy because they always do on me x

The worse experience of my life with tanning was using FAKE BAKE. I ordered it online. I wanted to look tan the night of my birthday 21st party. I was really excited about FAKE BAKE because it sounded harmless & easy. Long story short, the bottle I got was bad or something, but it tanned my legs and arms to a green color!!!! I was horrified. Cold not wash off. I ended up wearing jeans and long sleeve shirt for the night. It sucked so badly!!! =( On my 21st birthday..I felt so ugly that night.
From that day on...I've been reluctant to use any kind of tanner ever again. It basically scarred me for the rest of my life pretty much. it took weeks before it faded away, and i scrubbed my legs and arms so hard in the shower. I'd love to have the chance to use SunLove to try the product out and hopefully regain my trust with self-tanners and to be tan and feel confident in a bathing suit!! =)
I think the worst would have to be, I used one of those MysticTan booths and wasn't explained the process properly. I ended up with the most orange splotchiest face and shoulders, it looked like a skin disease or something. (I still have pictures, eek). Why do I need this tanner? I never naturally tan, I burn to a cinder, so not only do I need a spray tan to avoid this but I'm not one for cancer so baking myself=bad. I've always wanted to be tan but my darn Irish skin just won't work with me.

Mine was before my sister's wedding... I was maid of honor and I got spray tanned 2 days before the wedding. Needless to say I was an oompa loompa for rehearsal and the wedding. I was goin 2 a uni ball & wanted 2 look good so I bought fake tan. When I first put it on I thought it looked nice. Then I looked at my palms they weren't orange, they were black with sparkling glitter. I only had my back left so I got my sister to do that while I scrubbed my hands.
Later that evening I was dancing with this guy when he told me that my back looked like someone pressed their hands all over with white paint!...I was extremely embarrassed & will never ask my sister again 4 help!!

Hi Anna, I'd love to have the Sunlove Spray Tanner because the sun doesn't seem to change my skin at all it doesn't burn me OR tan me :(. I've never tried a spray tan before because Ican't afford to invent in numorous products until I find a good one! the only self tanner i have ever used was the jergens revitalizing lotion, which was for cellulite, which i didnt need that formula. but i wasnt patient enough to follow through with putting it on everyday for a week to get the tan i wanted. i would love to try out this sunlove product, ive been dying for a new self tanner. i hate to tan "naturally" since skin cancer is pretty common in my family, and im young and dont want to ruin my skin quite yet(:
Hey Anna, I am 23 and pale as you can be...my fake tan story is when my boyfriend and I went to Hawaii and I used some "Maui Babe" tan enhancer/tanner! We went baking in the sun with it slathered all over the day before we left. On the flight home I was sooo itchy and then the first night home I ended up on the bathroom floor crying in pain from my back where I baked in the "Maui Babe" the most! We ended up at the emergency room for 5 hours all night! It made for a good story in the end.
My bf planned a great night out inc. romantic dinner for our 1year. I wanted to look better than usual&decided to self-tan. It was my 1sttime & im traumatized! I didn't exfoliate = splotchy, my gel nails turned browny-orange (ugh!)! & I forgot my hairline = obvious white outline of my face. HE had a good laugh (not me!)& we stayed home... in the morn the sheets were stained! I've never trusted my self with fake tan since, but summers coming up & two years have passed, i'm feeling DARING! Haha!
my only disaster is i tried to get a fake tan and the tan didnt stay :( i was still really white i tried sun tanning and i got burnt and i was so red my skin was so red and flaky it was so ugly i really want to try this out i am so white and i gave up on tanning i think this could work
Here is another winning story...my sisters wedding and I was the MOH. I wanted to look great and stand out (but not more than the bride) and a tan always makes everyone look better so I started using a self tanner a couple days before the wedding - I looked like a carrot (no amount of exfoilant was enough) and had to give not one but two speeches in front of everyone. Years ago, on my holiday in italy, I was so embarassed by my absolutely snow-whitey legs that I bought a self tanner on the first day...BUT I used an italian one, I didn`t exfoliate and I forgot to shave my legs...hours later I had orange, streaky and absolutelly disgusting legs and I did wear long jeans the whole holiday long...even on the beach at 30 degrees. :)

My self tanner disaster happened last summer. I am really really really white and i loooove to have dark skin, so i thought that if i buy the darkest tanning lotion i will get dark faster. Right? Wrong... I had spots an patches on my whole body: feet, knees, neck even on my face :((
I went to a tanning salon to get sprayed. When I got home I noticed lines from the dripping of the product...horrible, and got all over my clothes! The worse part is that weekend I had a wedding to go to, and so I had to go get sprayed again to cover up the runs..horrible!

I was getting a spray tan for homecoming when my mom called me and told me that my sister was about to get the dress i had just bought 2 days ago. I hurrily put on all my clothes, and ran to meet my mom in the car. Luckily, i got to macys just in time to stop my sister from buying my dress. I got home and changed for a big family dinner. During the dinner, my little cousin shouts from across the room "Katie looks like a candy cane!" i had forgotten to rub in the tan and let it dry!

My worst experience was with a plug in spray tan machine, it came with this big plastic sheet that I stood on, the tan looked ok but as all of the excess went onto the sheet and I was moving about on it, the soles of my feet looked like I'd stepped in creosote! It was awful! I've been using tan for about 5 years now and always stuck with the same one, I think its time to try out a new one :)

my worst tanning experience was last year at prom. i tried mystic tan and after lots of $ wasted was left with super orange hands, feet and knees! UGH. ive tried every product out there and have not found one that gives me an even tan:( i;ve only met 1 person whiter then me! its so sad, i want to see what id look like with tan skin, it'd give me such a confidence boost! i wouldn't be able to order this product cause i live with my nana and she wont give her credit info out online, lol, i <3 her

My bad experience w/ jergens tanner lotion is that I would get streaks down my legs&would stain my socks. So I stopped the lotion and started tannin in the beds which was working up till last year I was diagnosed with Melanoma 'skin cancer' so now I can't tan and I'm scared of the self tanner lotions.. I gonna be a bridesmaid and the dress is baby yellow and I look washed out.. Please let me try the SUNLOVE to see if it will save me from looking so bale and give me confidence again. Thank you!

bought the 1st self tanner i could find. I went home and used ALL the gel that was in the tub. The 1 a bought was one that gradually got darker through the day. w/out understanding how to self tan, i just used it all, everywhere, including my face. I didn't exfoliate and thought i had to apply a body lotion b4 applying the self tanner. when we left the house you couldnt see a difference, but through the day i got more and more orange and it started to run and turn patchy. i STANK of it too OUCH!

i'm as as pale as a ghost! my worst tan experience was when i was 17. kids at school would tease me about how 'white' i was. so i bought a drugstore brand tanner. it was SO cheap. i spread it all over my body. after a week blotches appeared on my left leg and now i can't really get rid of them anymore. weird i know. they look like extra birthmarks. i'm 20 now and the only way to hide the blotches is to tan, which i try doing but it's so pricey being a college student.

well i dont tan because i cant. i only burn in the sun and in the tanning bed (i know its sad) anyways i did the mystic tan so i could go to the lake and show off the weight i lost. well that afternoon the girls wanted to tan so i took my clothes off (i had my new bikini on under) all sexy in front of a really hot guy and everyone started to laugh. i had orange streaks alll over me...my nickname to this day is tiger...gggrrrrr i never sunless tanned again but would LOVE to try sunlove :-D

My worst fake tan disaster was my one and only tan that i tried to do after i went to a party and i looked so white on the pictures i took with my friends. i was like glowing in the dark kind of.. but that fake tan gave me the over-cooked almost burnt look for a week which was so fake (yeh i know 'fake tan') and so unnatural then i had to wear clothes that covered up the whole body when i went out. that's why i wanna try the sunlove self tanner out coz i've heard so many good things about it.

I have really dry, pale skin and I got some of those tanning towelettes once and didn't realise they were in dark. They weren't permanent but I wiped my face with them and it clung to the dry skin on my face. Took a lot of washing off. :( Would love to try something that won't make me orange.

The worst self tanning experience I had was after reading an article in a beauty magazine that stated that all self tanning products were exactly the same because they all used the exact same ingrediants. Armed with information I went to Walmart and bought the cheapest product and ended up looking like an oompa loompa. What was the lesson learned? Don't believe everything you read, because you get what you pay for most of the time, lol.

By the time I was at the party my feet were BRIGHT orange with horrible streaks. There was no way to hid them and everyone kept pointing it out and laughing, it was so embarrassing! I have been trying self-tanner for a while and still haven't found a brand that gives me a nice even tan without being orange. (I still have nightmares about that day, ugh!) I hope I win the giveaway, I've heard amazing reviews about this product! I love your videos they are so helpful and fun to watch. :)

The worst tan disaster was when I was about 15. I have never tried self-tanners and found a bottle in my mom's bathroom. It was my best friends birthday. It was fancy even so I had to wear heels, but I'm a flats/tennies kind of girl so my feet are horribly white. I was in a hurry and did not read the instructions so when I was applying it I thought that I needed to apply a lot since I did not see an instant tan.

my biggest disaster was with mystic tan and I didn't put the booties on my feet so I was standing in a pool of self tanner and the bottoms of my feet were near black. i had to scrub layers of my skin off so I didn't look completely ridiculous.

I haven't really had that many tan disasters thank god! i suppose the worst one for me was when i used a garnier tan spray a few hours before i was going out, when i was out i noticed i had gone very patchy and orange....not good!! Would love to try this tanning product and to hopefully have a good experience with a spray tan :) x

my worst self-tanning experience is with ANY self tanner they just dont work, either they make me orange or they stink so nothing really works for me and im pale so i like to hide my legs especially cause they dont tan :( i would love to have sunlove in my life because then i would never have to worry about tanners cause im too scared to go to get a spray ta cause ive seen people come out of them looking orange!

My self tanning experience was horrible instead of getting tan i got orange,i looked yucky and bloggy. The reason i want to win is becuz im going to florida soon to go see my bf who i havent seen for 2yrs and i honestly hate wearing jeans when its hott, but i dont like my legs cuz im so white,and i know that im going to be going to the beach when i get there and i really want that boost of confidence to look good for my bf and for myself. Here's my tan Horror story,..I wanted to look great for my first day of college. I had just bought a super pretty peach sundress the week before school started..I noticed I was looking pale so I decided to apply a self tanner the night before ..HUGE mistake! I woke up the next morning in terror! I looked like an ompa loompa! AND to make things worse i woke up late so I wasn't able to scrub very much off. I ended up wearing long sleeves and jeans,and orange hands + face..It was SO humiliating

My worst was just before a photoshoot. I woke up looking like an orange cow. Giant patchy spots all over my body! I had a minor spazz trying to scrub it off before the shoot. Veet works VERY WELL for fixing fake-tan f-ups! FYI
I'd like to try this because I'm Irish; the kind that REFLECTS sunlight. I haven't found a faketan that's not orange/prone to spotty fading. I'd love to get my (not orange) paws on this and give it a try. I'd review it on my account too, if it worked out as well for me!

omg so i used a lotion self tanner. it was horrible and my skin is extremely white and im kind-of embarrased of it.. i cant really go swimming in the summer because my skin is soo ugly white. i would really love to try this product out. i feel that its going to work really well. but, i tried other self tanners and my palms got orange my ancles looked multicolers, there were streeks, and i honestly looked orange so i would love to try out this product.

used a merle norman self tanner on myself and i could tell from the beginning that this was not going to be a fun experience because when i opened the bottle the smell was putrid! It smelled like old dirty pennies but i continued because my friend recommended it to me but it gave me streaky orange legs and smelly blotchy orange palms!!! ugh it took an hour to finally scrub the majority of the orange color off... but never again with the rub in self tanners

When you go to the products page it links you straight to the kit, under the purchase button there are a couple links. One is for the tan refill and one is for the air canister refill. Hope this helps. :)

OMG so many bad taning stories my worst was when i first moved into my flat with my bf the spray in a can tanning lotions i sprayed it ll over my front and bf done my back was coming up ok so when i woke up the next morning had my outline on the carpet in our front room and was patchy everywhere tried filling in the gaps but went all weird shades it was summer and couldnt wear any skirts/dresses or strappy tops not good

I used this Loreal bronzer once, the one in a yellow bottle. It turned out blotchy and gross. Now I use the Dove one. It's okay but turns my hands orangey brown.

Im pale. Where i live theres a bunch of naturally tan people who think pale skin is unnatractive. .So i wore a mini skirt & Neutrgena Sublime to school.Thought i was so hot but I was SO orange w/ brown speckles from shaving,my feet & face had streaks, I definitely had everyone checking me out that day,too bad for the wrong reasons. People still bring it up & i havent worn skirts since. I need Sunlove because it will give me that extra confidence. Ill be more outgoing. ill wear shorts again! yay

I have a drivers tan (the left side of my upper body is MUCH tanner then the rest) so I decided to even it out with a self tanner that I'd heard a few good things about. It was one of those you had to give a few hrs to set so I did it after I showered & before bed when I woke up 3/4 of my body was ORANGE!! I was horrified & all my bf could do was laugh cause his hands were orange from helping me put it on! I'd like to not look like a spotted cow when I meet his grandparents this Christmas! :[

my WORST disaster was when i tried this marykay self tanner stuff on my skin. my mom always gives me marykay stuff first cause she can get it free cause she works there. i am SO white! i cannot tan in the sun so i tried it and it looked terrible! i wore a heavy sweatshirt and pants to school the next day in May! it was bad! it lasted a week with orange blotchy patches on my body. i only burn in the sun so theres no way i can get tan, so this sunlove stuff sounds great! thank you so much! =]

i have a redhead skintype so i don't bronze a lot even if i go in the sun, and NOTHING ever worked, and my worst experience is when I applied Clarins self tanner, and it got all messy in my belly button, on my knees and elbows and in the cracks around my hands, it was during summer and I had to wear long-sleeved shirt for almost 2 weeks ! I really would be SO happy to get the sunlove self tanner because I think it would give me confidence and yeah, I love you, thank you for everything Anna !

Hi Anna! I've had some self-tanning horrors, among them putting it al over my legs only to wake up with scaly color that made me look like I was a snake trying to molt. Gross. I live in Seattle, so the weather can be pretty nasty. SunLove would be a fantastic way to keep a glow going all year round!

Hello Anna! Thank you for this review. My worst self-tanning experience was pretty bad. It was the day before my graduation and I went and got a MYSTIC TAN. The day of the graduation, I noticed that one of my legs was tanned, and the other was my natural color. It was pretty bad. I suffer from pretty bad ACNE, so this is the reason why I do self-tanning. I would love to try this product, but I can't afford it (too many student loans)! Please consider me for the giveaway.

i get really pale during the cold seasons so i bought a fake spray tanner from walmart i got home exfoiliated, tried it out. went to bed, woke up the next morning and i looked like someone gave me orange streaks all over my body!! i was stuck like that for the rest of the week ahahahah. i was made fun of that whole week lol! & i think i deserve to win because i've tried soo many tanning products and none of them worked or lasted long enough i would love to try something that might work for me!

I think my worst self-tanning disaster was when I applied it all over my face, including the undereye area. The product kind of gathered in my undereye area and made that area even darker. It sounds like everyone says you get great results but I sill have not interest in the product. I think the mess is just way to much of a pain. I use St. Tropez and it is sooo easy.

I am so white, and i had a big night out so bought a spray tanner never used anything like it before, i was clueless! so there i was spraying and spraying thinking it was instant haaa but no- quite a few hours later the colour decided to appear, i was orange and Tangoed and so embarassed.

Oh god, loads of disasters have happened. the worst one was probablly when i was about 14, i didnt have a clue what exfoliating was. and the whole trend with being orange started in my school. sooo needless to say, i went to find a cheap fake tan. -a 99p one from homebargains. i had to walk around with orange streaks all over my body; and smelling really bad cause what do you expect for 99p? hahaa (: xoxox

I bought this garnier bodylotion, which said 'summer beauty'. So one night, I was getting ready for a beauty night. I had my anniversary with my boyfriend the next day and wanted to feel totally relaxed and beautifull. So I had a bath and all that (we were going to this hotel with a swimmingpool!) and put lotion YES garnier's lotion all over my body. The next morning I had streaks everywhere! my legs, the palms of my hand and feet and between my fingers. I was soo ashamed !

hiii :D my worst self tanner incident was when one of my best friends persuaded me that i'd look great with a tan, i went to her house, i did my body first and then did my face, but as it started to develop it was just getting darker... i looked so silly and had college the next day. my skin is just so fair that it made me bright orange. and i've got red hair so i looked like an oompa loompa! haha :) sunlove looks brilliant and i'd love to find and try a tanner that doesn't make me orange! :D

i would soo love to win because my worst experience with selftanners was about 3dasy before my prom wen i desided to get rid of the paleness and look a bit more healthy. well that went terribly wrong wen i turned too orange and blotchy, my palms and elbows were the worst i think.i was soo gutted and didnt nt want to go to my on prom:( ever since i havent dared to try a fake tanner but ur review sounded really encouraging and i would love to try this product just to get my confidence back, thanxx

WTE.Well I guess it was the first time I used fake tan and really had no idea. I ended up with bright orange palms but with the creases still pale white. Oh dear My feet were a disaster and my face ended up extremely streaky. I had BLACK triangles on the webed part between my fingers and my nails turned green. I put it on miday and had to run out. so stupid of me, in the rain and ended looking like a Dalmation. I'de love to try and recommend Sun/Love. I can never find a reliable, satisfy tanner.

I currently have never tried a self tanner because I have never trusted them. But, with a real tan I get really annoyed as last year when I started school my legs were really tanned but my arms and face weren't. So everyone thought I was wearing a fake tan. It was really irritating. So I think I would like this product so it will be able to even out my tan.

One day when I put on my self tanned body lotion my boyfriend wants to bother me. he pressed his hands on my legs, hoping to leave a mark on it. I didnt think that this is going to work, but it DID! next day we wanted to go to swimming and it was so humilating, cause I do had marks of his hands everywhere! haha :D
I would LOVE to win it as I am so pale, that sometimes people ask me if I'm ill! :( I don't have any other options than going to the solarium, but I really want to avoid this!

I have also tried the St. Tropez mousse and I applied it on my face at night. The next morning I woke up to a horrible sight. It looked like it had a blotchy orange sunburn. I hid in my house for the next two days and exfoliated like crazy. Haven't had the courage to use fake tanner since! The sunlove sounds great, and i would love to try it!

as the day for my high school graduation got closer i realized i was not evenly tanned...my legs were super pale...i wanted to wear a dress and i would have to show my legs...there was no time to go tanning in the sun so i chose to try dove energy glow self tanner a few days before my graduation, it left not only my legs looking orange, but my hands as well, so i had to walk to get my diploma with my orange legs and receive my diploma with orangy hands :(...i would like something that works :)

My disaster:
I decided to try a self tanner for an instant tan. But I was so impatient that I skipped exfoliation AND applied multiple thick coats all in one sitting! BAD idea. My entire body turned to a rubbery burnt orange (I'm naturally fair) and I earned the name "Monkey Palms" b/c they were stained; including nails and cuticles. If that wasn't bad enough, I also exfoliated my skin raw everyday in attemps to reverse the damage.

Being tanned reminds me of summer and it makes me feel good. Shallow, I know. But who cares?! I worked at two tanning salons.. I tanned for about 3 years and I noticed I have a lot of freckles an sun damage =(. I tried sunless tan and I was going on a date.. I had orange hands and it was soo embarrasing!! I refused to tan outside or in beds because I dont want to cause anymore damage to my skin .. but I love looking tan!!! Im going to Vegas in the middle of October.. I would love to be tanned!!! sooo please help me out!! =)

I was going to the river with my bff and some hot guys. My friend has a gorgeous natural tan..me not so much so I applied some self tanner a few hours before leaving to meet up everyone. When i got there and sat down I noticed all the streaks on my legs...I looked like a tiger!!! it was sooo embarrassing! The color was bright ORANGE! I had to sit there with a towel over me the entire time. Everyone looked at me like I was crazy. LOL

when i was younger i experimented a bit with fake tan. the first time i used it i was feeling overly confident and just slapped it on without a second thought. i ended up streaky & orange. my palms looked especially crazy. i had to go to a piano lesson later that day and the piano teacher thought i had mud on my hands. so embarrassing! so i've been nervous about trying new products, but every time i do i end up with the same streaky, orangy looking mess. i'm quite pale so i'd love to have this!

Worst ...it's just bad when i put on self tanner, and wash my hands .. then i notice 3 hours later my wrist and hands are white and my arms are tan.

My worst self-tanner is story is that I applied the tanner and then someone came to the door, so I had to throw on clothes in a hurry. I ended up with the most bizarre fake-tan (orange) pattern all over my body and my clothes were all stained.
I NEED to stop baking in the sun so I would love to try Sun Love!

Hi Sweetie!! My most embarrassing tanning experience had to of been the time I got spray tanned for my good friends high school graduation. I had never used the type of company before and didn't know how dark I would be. They said I would look natural. Know I am the PALEST person on earth... red head.... I burn in a sec in the sun. I WAS ORANGE as an oompa loompa I couldn't even go to the graduation I was so embarassed!! =( I need this product so things like that won't ever happen! Thanks! <3

i had tried a self tanner the ones u buy @ the drugstore & it was the day before my sis wedding and i had applied it all over my body and went 2 bed. the next day i woke up n i was all streaky and orange i tried so hard to scrub it off n that just made it worse. i tried 2 get it off mostly on my face but instead i had little scrapes from scrubing 2 hard. i was so embarrassed n my sis was mad n didnt want me in the wedding any more lol

I just hope if i was able to try sunlove out I might be able to look less like a piece of fruit and more with a healthy natural colour.....I've missed out on two family holidays due to my a levels and now starting uni....and i need to catch up with every1 elses colour when they get back!!! So due to the un-natural colour of them and my incapability to apply them correctly, i ended up with CHUNKS of dark orange allll over me!!...I was used to the subtle effect of tinted moisterisers and ended up having to spend the next week with family i hadn't seen in ages looking like a chopped up orange had been thrown at me!!

Apart from tinted moisterisers....i've only ever used a self tanner once.......and it has remained my last time!!....Both my little and older sister had used these really cheap self tanner wipes and they both turned out with an amazinggggg tan whilst we were on a family trip away, so I thought surely it should work out the same for me...!?....my little sister is darker than me and my older sister is lighter than me.....and obviously being mediumly tanned wasn't something the wipes approved of.

Well, every self-tanner i've used always turns me orange..people always make fun of me because i'm so white..i don't want to kill my skin and go tanning..i'd do anything just to actually look like i have a decent tan. i always watch your videos and it's like this one could answer my prayers! lol:)

I have never had enough courage to try because I know that if there is any orange in the product whatsoever I will turn that shade.. literally.
I am a type of person who doesn't fit into MAC shades or any other foundation range for that matter.
I would love the opportunity to try a self tanner which wouldn't turn orange... so that maybe I could fit into a proper foundation range lol. It would be lovely!<3

My worst tanning experience was when i picked up a cheap spray tan to test out so that i could use it before prom.. and it worked pretty well it didnt tan too much but it gave me a nice glow.. so the night before prom i put fake tan on my front.. and it was quite late.. and i got distracted by a youtube video... and then i went to bed forgetting i had only tanned my front and so at my prom i ended up loooking uneven.. disaster :D

I decided to tan before a big tradeshow I had to attend for work. Half way through the show (so after two days shaking clients hands) one of my co-workers said what did you get on your hands?!!! They were totally streaked with orange the whole time!! It looked like I had been making mud pies in the red Georgia clay!

I've never tried a self tan, but I did go to a tanning salon and ended up with a pretty nasty orange spray tan because I didn't exfoliate beforehand. :) I think I deserve this product because I believe tanning in the sun is unhealthy for skin - so I'm going the healthy route and most of the time I look pasty white because of it! This product would be great for me to try out.

Spray tans are sooo messy when you do them at home. i love st tropez it's so easy and not messy! To each their own though hehe I'm to nervous to try my own spray tan!

i was watching this video on youtube and it was a girl from "FORDMODELS" and she was giving a review on a self tanner and how easy it was and it was like her favorite self tanner it wasnt those spray on instead it was those wipe ons so then im like i want to try this and i go and get it so i try it and the next day my skin was soooo uneven that u could tell it was FAKE! it was just really bad and it lasted for a long time and i didnt even get the chance to go tanning so thats y i need SUNLOVE

I forgot My worst self tanning experience was prior to my daughters wedding and I didn't have time to lay out and tan my back, so the night before (I know really stupid), I tried to self tan my back myself!, the next morning it was splotchy, but the worst of it was I miscalculated how far down I needed to go for my dress (*backless), about an inch to short! So I had to wear a shrug the whole wedding and it was HOT!. So please indulge the older set and send me one of the Kits!

So orange is not sexy at all. Or not getting all your skin. This One time I had to go to a wedding and I cant not be in the sun with out getting red all over so I got this tanning to make your skin look nice and have a glow. I was orange all over some skin was not the same color I could not take it off it was so bad. I need SUN Love because I cant be in the sun a lot cause About 3 years ago I had cancer from the sun my face. I would LOVE to have this. Make my skin look nicer

I would love a kit because, I am one of your older subscribers and really should Not sun tan anymore in the "real" sun, BUT, I love being dark!, this sounds like the perfect solution, I am not going to go stand naked in front of anyone to get it done professionally, Heck, I wouldn't even let my husband do it!

My worst tanning experience was the day before my prom i went to NYC to get a spray tan and it never dried completely. So it was starting to rub off and looked funky on my breast area. Of course my dress was low cut so I tried to cover it. Every time i do a tan myself i get the nasty colored palms and blochy legs. I think i deserve this cause I am pale. Nc 15/20 and dark brown hair almost black lol and i would love something that looks natural and is easy to use cause i am also in a wheelchair.

my freshman year in high school i wanted to get a nice, natural tan so i decided to start using a self tanner. i would put it on at night after my shower and then wear it to school the next day, and then shower it off at night and apply more, etc. One day in school a cute guy sat next to me and was like "oh my god what smells like wet dog?!" ...it was my self tanner :( so embarrassing!

Oh wow....
My worst face-tan experience had to have been the time i tried to use a Bonnebell tanning gel. It turned all red/orange, and when i tried to wash it off, it wouldn't come off, and just made the redness worse! The worst part: I used it on my face. Yeah, that's right. =(
P.S. I don't have the patience for the gradual tanners (Jergens, ect.) , so this sounds awesome!

I'd like to win because I'm very fair... I actually went to the store the other day and the lady said I looked sick T_T I was so sad .. never want to hear that again! lol really don't like tanning out on the beach because the rays are way too strong in FL, and I can't be out there too long considering it seems alot of my family has gotten skin cancer.. don't want to go there! My worst fake tan experience was when I tried a tanner wipe.. it was streaky orange and would not come off! NIGHTMARE!!

My Worse Tanning Experience was in a Salon :o I Went into the little room Thingy and It Completely Turned Orange but somehow the lighting in the salon made it look like a sunkissed Bronze so i didnt notice til i got home :O i was walking around Like an Orange For About a Month !:( Wasnt very nice haha .., anyway, i love your videos and your bodyshape!:) Jealous hehe :)

Im very pale. Where i live there are a bunch of naturally tan people who look at pale skin as ugly. So i wore a skirt for the 1st time & fake tanner from the drugstore to school. I was SO orange w/ brown speckles,my feet had streaks,ect. People still talk about it. I havent worn skirts since. Im still real embarrassed. Im on a students budget. I NEED Sunlove because i think it will give me confidence. I think ill be more outgoing at school. Ill be able to wear shorts & a swimsuit again! Woohoo!

Oh and i forgot to add the reason why this product would be great for me. I love tanning beds, but i hate the fact that they age you, and give you skin cancer. well my family really is trying hard for me and my twin sister to keep away from getting cancer, because my brother passed away from a cancer, and i really would want anything like that to happen to me. I love your videos. i think they are so helpful and you have a great outlook on fashion. My bad tanning experience was i bought a self tanning bottle, i forget the brand, but i tried it and the next day i woke up and i was like a vibrant orange color. i cried, and than it got worse because i showered and it made my skin burn so abd, and i was having like a crazy itching attack all over my body. ! I love to be tan, and this would be so great to have! good luck everybody! :)

i think i deserve to win because im quite pale and ive just had my hair died brown and it looks kinda odd. and my worst experience was when i was on holiday i bought some after sun as i was extremely sunburnt, and i didnt read the packaging, so there i was slappping loads on everyday and after a week i started to look really orange and i mean umpa lumpa orange, but anyways when i finally got home i read the bottle saying it contained self tanner! such a true blonde moment ;)

My worst self tanning experience was using a cream tanner called Jergens Natural Glow. I thought it would be easy to use, but when it dried i realized that it was blotchy everywhere and my hands loked orange. I need this product because I have my Junior prom and i don't want to be pale like i am now for it. I really want an easy spray tanning system for this event, but i CAN'Tafford to buy it. My worst tan experience was when i first tried St. Moriz and I still had some Ambre Solaire on, I came out looking like a giraffe,it looked muddy and discusting and left my hands BLACK. Ive mastered it but its still not my favourite though i think im still scarred from it lol I would really like a chance to buy this because I havent seen it before and being a veteran self tanner id like to find one that doesnt fade patchy because they always do on me x

My worst fake tan experience was when I used this Bonnebell gel tanner. I was walking by water, which splashed on me and got my legs all wet. My legs were spotty (where the water drops hit) and my tan was running down my legs! It was HORRIBLE. I literally had to run into the washroom and wipe it all off! I am pale, and although I'm fine with it, I also dream of having that healthy glow to my skin. This would be great for me! Thanks for holding this giveaway :D

The worse experience of my life with tanning was using FAKE BAKE. I ordered it online. I wanted to look tan the night of my birthday 21st party. I was really excited about FAKE BAKE because it sounded harmless & easy. Long story short, the bottle I got was bad or something, but it tanned my legs and arms to a green color!!!! I was horrified. Cold not wash off. I ended up wearing jeans and long sleeve shirt for the night. It sucked so badly!!! =( On my 21st birthday..I felt so ugly that night.

From that day on...I've been reluctant to use any kind of tanner ever again. It basically scarred me for the rest of my life pretty much. it took weeks before it faded away, and i scrubbed my legs and arms so hard in the shower. I'd love to have the chance to use SunLove to try the product out and hopefully regain my trust with self-tanners and to be tan and feel confident in a bathing suit!! =)

I think the worst would have to be, I used one of those MysticTan booths and wasn't explained the process properly. I ended up with the most orange splotchiest face and shoulders, it looked like a skin disease or something. (I still have pictures, eek). Why do I need this tanner? I never naturally tan, I burn to a cinder, so not only do I need a spray tan to avoid this but I'm not one for cancer so baking myself=bad. I've always wanted to be tan but my darn Irish skin just won't work with me.

i wanted a pretty tan before my prom...needless to say i came out orange as a pumpkin and kept progressing thru the nite...all the while i thought ppl were laughing at my funny dance moves my friend pulled me to the side n feeled me n on it being my glow n the dark white armpits compared to my pumpkin orange body!!! it was not so much fun...everybody still rem to this day and its been a few yrs now! cancer runs n my family so i dont tan in a bed! i am very interested in tryin sunlove though!

I don't have any worst self tanner experience, only that my face darker than my body. That is all! I am pretty new with self tanning. I would really like to try sunlove!!!!!!!!!! So I hope I win one bottle. :-) :-) At the moment I use st moriz. I hope the next will be sunlove! I would e more than thankful! I live in Germany and it would be a great idea, to show this product to my girlfriend. IT WOULD BE AN GOOD ADVERTISING FOR SONLOVE AND FOR YOU!!!

so my dad is italian so you would think i would be nice and tan but im not i got my moms pale danish skin ; so for my fist day of high school which was like 3 years ago i thought i would get a self tanning spray so the night before school i put it on waited about 20 min and went to bed the next morning i was bright orange but my mom made me go to school . since then i have been to scared to try a at home tanner and its to expensive to get mistic all the time so i would love to have the sunlove

Mine was before my sister's wedding... I was maid of honor and I got spray tanned 2 days before the wedding. Needless to say I was an oompa loompa for rehearsal and the wedding. The best man made fun of me the entire weekend and kept pretending my glowing orange tan was blinding him :( I would love this kit- I love being tan but don't want skin cancer!

I am as pale as a ghost, in high school my nick name was casper. I used a self tanning lotion foe a friends wedding and I turned out orange it was aweful. I could feel everyone staring at me. I so need this kit.

I was goin 2 a uni ball & wanted 2 look good so I bought fake tan. When I first put it on I thought it looked nice. Then I looked at my palms they weren't orange, they were black with sparkling glitter. I only had my back left so I got my sister to do that while I scrubbed my hands.
Later that evening I was dancing with this guy when he told me that my back looked like someone pressed their hands all over with white paint!...I was extremely embarrassed & will never ask my sister again 4 help!!

my worst self tanner experience was when i tried a cream formula and it left crazy streaks all over my legs. i was wearing short shorts and one of my guy friends whom i had a crush on pointed it out. it was really embaressing:P
i would try this because it seems convincing and from the review you gave id try it. im anemic so im naturally pale, mainly on my face, and i hate it so much!

Hi Anna, I'd love to have the Sunlove Spray Tanner because the sun doesn't seem to change my skin at all it doesn't burn me OR tan me :(. I've never tried a spray tan before because Ican't afford to invent in numorous products until I find a good one! I have tried suntan lotions and months later...i still look the same color :/ I would feel extremely grateful and lucky if I could try this out! Thank you so much!

That was me on my WEDDING day, dark burnt-orange elbows, orange between my fingers, and worst of all I was wearing my mothers dress so people noticed right away! Nevertheless, I had a great attitude, laughed it off and enjoyed an amazing night. I deserve Sunlove in my life because my pale skin doesnt tan - it burns! the only self tanner i have ever used was the jergens revitalizing lotion, which was for cellulite, which i didnt need that formula. but i wasnt patient enough to follow through with putting it on everyday for a week to get the tan i wanted. i would love to try out this sunlove product, ive been dying for a new self tanner. i hate to tan "naturally" since skin cancer is pretty common in my family, and im young and dont want to ruin my skin quite yet(:

Hey Anna, I am 23 and pale as you can be...my fake tan story is when my boyfriend and I went to Hawaii and I used some "Maui Babe" tan enhancer/tanner! We went baking in the sun with it slathered all over the day before we left. On the flight home I was sooo itchy and then the first night home I ended up on the bathroom floor crying in pain from my back where I baked in the "Maui Babe" the most! We ended up at the emergency room for 5 hours all night! It made for a good story in the end.

My bf planned a great night out inc. romantic dinner for our 1year. I wanted to look better than usual&decided to self-tan. It was my 1sttime & im traumatized! I didn't exfoliate = splotchy, my gel nails turned browny-orange (ugh!)! & I forgot my hairline = obvious white outline of my face. HE had a good laugh (not me!)& we stayed home... in the morn the sheets were stained! I've never trusted my self with fake tan since, but summers coming up & two years have passed, i'm feeling DARING! Haha!

my only disaster is i tried to get a fake tan and the tan didnt stay :( i was still really white i tried sun tanning and i got burnt and i was so red my skin was so red and flaky it was so ugly i really want to try this out i am so white and i gave up on tanning i think this could work

Here is another winning story...my sisters wedding and I was the MOH. I wanted to look great and stand out (but not more than the bride) and a tan always makes everyone look better so I started using a self tanner a couple days before the wedding - I looked like a carrot (no amount of exfoilant was enough) and had to give not one but two speeches in front of everyone. I think I should win Anna because I have been dying to try this product and right now am a victim to the recession. MUCH <3SUN<3

Hi! My worst fake tan disaster was tanner from "AVON". That was long time ago and when I apply, i look like white cow with brown spots. :) Everybody was laughing about me. :D

Years ago, on my holiday in italy, I was so embarassed by my absolutely snow-whitey legs that I bought a self tanner on the first day...BUT I used an italian one, I didn`t exfoliate and I forgot to shave my legs...hours later I had orange, streaky and absolutelly disgusting legs and I did wear long jeans the whole holiday long...even on the beach at 30 degrees. :)

when i was 12 and the day before my first day at a new school i was feeling pretty down about my looks. I found my moms tan towels and thought it would be a GREAT idea! well in the morning i looked in the mirror and i had big orangle blobs all over my face! The worst part was i had to go to school like that and everyone pointed and laughed....i didnt make many friends that year. I went to a tanning salon to get sprayed. When I got home I noticed lines from the dripping of the product...horrible, and got all over my clothes! The worse part is that weekend I had a wedding to go to, and so I had to go get sprayed again to cover up the runs..horrible!
