  • wow! so nice... still remember this during college days...one of my recital piece... thanks for this beautiful and awesome playing...

    more power!

  • I learnt this arrangement on an HS-8 years ago too and still part of my favourite pieces to play! I have even adapted it to Theatre Organ! Audiences love it/ I am always surprised that very few people know it.

  • Awesome. Bravo. This song remains one of my favorites from the Chuck era and you did it justice. Good work!

Hi there, thank you very much for your comment!!! :-))

  • Reminds me of a theme from The Legend of Zelda.

  • Hello. I used to play a yamaha electone an i love that song so much. Can you give me suggestions on where i could get a copy of that feels so good music sheet ? Please? You played it perfectly. Thumbs up! :)

    i have now also a hs-8

but now im looking for a good advissed for a mdr or voice expander can you give my advisions about this parts? some one has a mdr2/p for my is this a good option?

im not a good player but i m looking for lessons

    Regards from the Netherlands

  • Hi froggiefreggel.

Thanks for stopping over at my video site.

An MDR is NOT an expander. It is a storage medium for your registration.

I don't know exactly if an MDR2 would work well with the HS. I know only that MDR2 often comes along with HX. HS uses normally the MDR3.

As for voice expander, I used to have an MU-2000 but now no longer. Maybe you can try the MU-128 with you. It is recommendable too.

Hope this helps a little bit.

  • i love this song!

    sooo nice!!!

  • Thank you very much jnk0613chun !

And thank you also for visiting my video site :-)

  • is this i yamaha part ?

or a siemens on demo's on youtube i see a box from siemens

  • Thank you for your wonderful play!

I own an HS-8 and was thinking about getting rid of it because I am more into keyboard/synth playing in a band and I haven't even touched my Electone for a long long time.

But, I changed my mind when you are keeping all the electones very nicely and keep loving them. I enjoyed all of your videos. Thank you!!

  • Many thanks for your kind words, kingsmamabj. I feel very happy that you'd keep your HS-8.

Yes, I think the HS-8 always deserves a good home, especially at its high age now where lots of people consider it as a wreckage only :-(

  • This is my favourite song and I played it in the 80 before, but no way near your standard.

This Flugelhorn player 'Chuck Mangione' is my idol too, looking forward to see you performs his others song if possible.

  • Thank you very much for your nice comments.

Yes, Chuck Mangione is a great flügelhorn player. I too do admire him. I guess yet, he doesn't produce any new songs nowadays.

    But maybe I'm wrong...

  • Very resourceful use of the MU-2000.

I think it would sound a lot better on the ELX.

I was motivated to create my own arrangement on the EL-90.

    Check it out:

    Keep it up,

    Cheers!

  • Thanks for your comment, kmvaz221 :-)

The MU-2000 doesn't harmonise well with the EL-900 or ELX-1m. Because the Electones sound simply better so that the MU-2000 is kind of left behind. It supports the HS-8 at the best.

  • Hier arbeiten 2 Profis , deine Orgel und du zusammen:)

Klasse gespielt und 5 Sterne, denn mehr gibt es leider nicht:)

    selecton

  • Na ja.. eigentlich müßtest du 3 zählen: der Expander käme dazu :-))

  • Hey! This is my favourite song! Really great to hear you play it!

  • Glad to know that you like this song :-)

  • Damn, I felt very good hearing this, this ability you have is very good, and i like looks and sounds of these 1980's organs. I rate you more than 5 stars!!

  • Thank's for your nice comment !

    I do feel honoured :-)

And also thank's for visiting my video site. Hope you enjoy it :-)

  • Very nice work, that rocked. Cheers from me and the Hounds.

  • Thank's fellow !

Hugs back to the hounds ;-))

  • Awesome! 5 curry laksas for you.

  • Thanks ;-) Well how bout 5 laksas and as dessert 1 ice kachang ???

  • Absolutely! That would feel good.

  • Yes i know him very well.

  • You are really very good! Enjoying your old HS8 lately? *****

  • Hi vagro2006, thank's for your comment .

I'm flattered by your words :-))

Yes, I keep enjoy playing my beautiful aged milady.

Despite its age, it still sometimes suprises me with its ability (okay... not a competitor to your modern equipments, but still a dignified instrument ).

  • If you are a good player it doesn't matter the equipment you have. You can make wonderful music with the sound of an old Casio too. I spend too much time on the instrument itself than learning new songs, but I also enjoy doing that :)

  • Very good can you play give it all you got? You sound just like him you will become famous

  • You seem to know all those great Jazz numbers! :-)

Do you also know Pat Kelley with his 'I dreamed of you' ? A great number worth the listening !

By the way thank's again for your nice comment! It is highly appreciated :-)

... but how bout adding some commas and dots ?? ;-))

  • A very enjoyable performance! I really had a good time listening to you! It Feels So Good!

  • Thank's for your nice comment, leatherlips!

    I do highly appreaciate it.

And also thank's for visiting me at my video site :-)
