  • PUNK

  • this is one of my favorite songs from them. i wish it got radio play that way more people could hear it :)

  • Those were the days man

  • Greg is so fuckin drunk in some of the footage lol

  • Hmm... Brett made a great observation twenty years after the songs inception, we're fighting a war with religion and terrorism damn those fools

    GREAT SONG

  • i totally pausE everything i do when i hear his song and make a mosh pit with my dad xD

  • Aaah.. those were the days - the black t-shirt footage is from the Vera in Groningen, one of the best gigs I ever witnessed.

  • I didn't see any logo on the drum kit at all, only a white ring border. One thing is clear, though: Brett and Jay switch between rhythm and bass. I've been noticing on videos and live throughout the decades they have taken turns. Is Jay still a regular member of the group, though, or just a once-in-a-while guest or done permanently or what? I'm not clear on their current membership.

  • @YaWantTaters jay always plays bass. his diffrent haircuts are probaly just throwing you off

  • Is that the germs logo on the drum kit?

  • awsome...just awsome

  • pete finestone on drums!!!!! yay

  • His shirt changes in almost every cut.

    Greg Graffin, master of disguise.

  • hairy times : D

  • Thls Song ls STlLL the SHlT!!!!! BAD RELlGlON holds decades later

  • god damn his voice is so raw and perfect. they sound so much better live than on the albums.

  • gregs voice has certainly improved, not tryin to be mean but it kinda sounds like assss in this video : /

  • Great song

  • I love the fact that, although this has been like twenty years ago, Greg nowadays can still sing with this raw kickass voice. Bad Religion ain't no Metallica

  • @Yesterdayss To be honest I think his voice has gotten much better since the late 80s. They never cease to amaze me....30 years on and still improving!

  • @Yesterdayss you mean Metallica aint no Bad Religion....as in Bad Religion> Metalica

  • after fucking 8 years and i still love this fucking band!

    greg graffin

keEp on teaching(ucla) and spreadin information

    imformation is power!

    ONEnesS from PERU

  • Yeah!

After 14 I still listen to BR!

  • muuuuuuy buena cancion

    y buen video

    saludos!

  • I love this song soo much. Well the entire Suffer album really. They played every song on this video/dvd except for Part IV, if I remember correctly.

  • They where the hero's!

  • Greg shows that not all punk rockers are druggies and idiots. He has a great vocabulary and teaches at UCLA.

  • im 38 and grew up punk, and we had the same attitude. We strived to to be intelligent, creative and bookread. We weren't addicts or thieves or dumbasses

  • Those were the old, good punks. Right now most of them (the kids) are a bunch of idiots, in my opinion.

  • In the 80's I think punk kids were more in tune with social and political issues. The kids today, namely the emo kids (which I guess passes for punk now) are more concerned about their poor little broken hearts! My girlfriend left me! It's the end of the world! They should pick up a book that wasn't written by J.K. Rowling!

  • Heh, what's wrong with her? (just kidding) But I read those books xD.

True. But there are "punk" kids. For example in my country, we have "Flema" as a big "punk band", and they were just a bunch of addicts singing to drugs, sex, alcohol and that's about it. So the "punks" here (not all, but a really big amount of them) just go following that, and saying "we're punks! You are conformists, sellouts!" when they are the conformists ones, actually.

[follows in the next comment xD]

  • Really, PICK UP A BOOK, kids. I believe those haven't even read the Harry Potter ones. I doubt they have seriously even read something, because for them, it's so uncool and it's not "DESTROY!!!!1111". But then you have the emo kids, claiming they have read EVERYTHING, but, if they did, they didn't get the point of those they claim to read.

[follows in the next, i dislike breaking paragraphs]

  • Urgh. Got a bit carried away, but I hate that xD. Sometimes I wish I had been born before; my coevals (is that the word? sorry, not native english) aren't a good example of all of us. And when you say you like punk (not even that you ARE punk), they believe you're on of those "DESTROY!!1 DRUGS SEX PUNK ROCK!!!111".

    xD. A bit long, sorry.

  • emo kids will NEVER pass as punk

  • always used to suffer, no control, and process of belief during last summer. This song reminds me of summertime now.

  • @belchingdonkeyy You are not calling Bad Religion emo correct?

  • @uberstupidmove dont worry bro, i would NEVER call bad religion emo.

  • @blinkgreen129 potheads are not druggies. just thought I'd throw that out there. cause I smoke herbs and I listen to Bad Religion also. and Greg Graffin is one of my idols, A wise man indeed

  • Fucking awesome video.

  • Um, actually, I do like the modern Bad Religion. Not just the old songs, I think I'm really fond of the The Empire Strikes First album. Seems like a great one for me.

  • @PawBadReligion

Bad Religion can never go wrong!!!

  • Dude Brett has like the coolest t-shirt! that rocks. Anyways BR is like the best. love em! xD

  • this band is the best example that punk is not dead

  • @goanarchy 30 years and going strong \m/

  • Seeee =)

  • Wow, I found a suffer vinyl record today at a garage sale!! lol, 5 bucks maaan! FUCK YEAH!!

  • You're dAmn lucky xD.

  • this the greatest bad religion song and i think suffer is the best punk rock album of all time still so fucking good even after all these year off listennig it

  • like I said there is no greatest songs or albums, even though my personal favorite is suffer also, but its hard to say whats best or greater than another when everything they make is great, and yes even greater than any other band on earth!

  • Thats what I love about BR .. everyone has there favorite song.. there is no best song, just alot of great songs... someone count the songs they have made.. 100s I suppose and yes this is one of my favorite songs and was the first song I ever heard from BR back in the 1980s lol.. long ago. they never stopped kickin ass and will live forever!

  • Haha, an old fan ;)

    You're absolutely right =D

  • This is such a good song. One of their best. Such well written lyrics. I love the lord of the flies reference.

  • this is the best bad religion song ever and i think suffer is their greatest album

  • Wow... it's been so long I don't watch this video, I've forgotten how better Greg sounded live in the late 80's early 90's...

Bad Religion stills rules, but THIS is the Bad Religion I became fan back then!

  • 1000 tontos mas yeahhh !!

  • Too bad more bands dont have anywhere near the intelligence level and verbal skill of BR

  • TOO BAD... But that is what makes Bad Religion unique =)

  • Thanks too...This is my favourite song from my favourite band...simple but full of meaning...
