Anyone who thinks Isai CAN'T keep up with today's metagame needs to watch him and S2J playing in the doubles bracket at Genesis 2. He could easily get back into the game if he wanted to. He just doesn't want to. As much as I want to see him return to Melee, we as a community need to respect his decision and maybe work on preserving the videos of the matches that he did give us when he played the game, as well as making sure his contribution to the metagame in its early days is never forgotten.

People need to understand that Isai doesn't dedicate his time to Melee anymore, and that he is indeed rusty or not as good as he was, maybe that was the reason he didn't really want to play in the first place? you can even see him struggling at times such as missing a wavedash one or twice.
