what i mean is u know where it ses ur layer tools and ur tool options and tool bar the colour of  it if gray and mine is white tool bar but i want it to be a gray tool bar like urs sooooo im asking u can u do a tutiral on how to change the tool options thing from white to gray

I viewed this yesterday in hopes of learning how to MOVE AND RESIZE a colored circle after I have created it. My chief difficulty is understanding how properly SELECT the circle. Yesterday youtube would not let me post comment. I see that I can move and rotate the LAYER itself and wonder if that is the answer to moving the image or should one seek to move image WITHIN the layer. But still I wonder if there is an easy way to RESIZE. Thanks!

Yes you need to move the layer. One layer is like one sheet of paper. If you have drawn a circle on a piece of paper you cannot move it around on that sheet of paper either. You can only move the entire sheet.

But luckily you can resize a layer in gimp. Watch my crop and resize video.

I learned a lot about the transformation tools in your video. Those little icons in there kind of got ignored when I was using one of the tools. Nice to have that information. Thank you!
