In some versions of Greek Mythology, Discord is Strife's mother. However, it is never explicitly stated on the shows about the relationship. They never call each other mom or son; they just go by their names. It would probably make sense that Discord is Strife's mom in the show since she is Ares's sister. Her and Ares are Zeus and Hera's children and there are a few other gods who are the children of Zeus and Hera.
I've notice that the characters from Hercules with Kevin sorbo also appeared in the young Hercules as well. The only one that didn't come out was Kevin Sorbo himself.
