Incredibly lovely. So perfect for Kiri's voice, and so nice to see Solti at the piano.

The very last song composed by Richard Strauss is a very rich piece of music, but at same time a difficult beast for the singer. Kiri Te Kanawa and Sir George set an example how it must be sung and played with their excellent interpretation of that world premiere. I think Kiri should practice the correct pronunciation of the German word "zärtliche" to bring it to perfection.

@007strauss i am confused...what issue do you have with her pronunciation of zärtliche...the ä is too dark for you? I am just curious. I thought she sounded okay.
