  • what the fuck is even the point of having home plate when your calling strikes 6 inches out of the zone either way.

  • it must be toughs for the jap umps to see, you know, with the slant eyes and all!

  • notice how most of the strikeouts are full count strikeouts. Plus when you look at the 1st K the batter swing at a pitch that almost hit him!

  • i can throw the ball at the umpires head and he'll call a strike

  • I was looking for Roger Clemens 20 strikeout game in 1986... but this came out.

  • @Freebleeper i was looking for kerry wood's

  • Some of those pitches were soooooo outside!

  • In japan, highschool baseball use metal bats.

so, highschool's strikezone is bigger than pros one.

    Do you understand?

  • thats not even a fair strikezone to the hitter when the zone is 4 inches off the plate.

  • kerry woods was better

  • :/ if u have a hard time striking out batters in that league you ur hopeless

  • wow this isnt really impressive if i had an umpire with a strike zone that big i would be able to strike 20 out in a game

  • It's not that impressive because you pretty much have to swing at any damn thing OFF the plate or else it gets called for a strike.

  • well hell if the strikezone was the size of a damn bus, i could throw a 20 strikeout game

  • the strike zone in high school baseball in Japan is big (dont know the reason)

  • 2:40 that pitch was DIRTY.

  • @noahmcdx That sure looks like a forkball or split, about 73 mph with that type of break, not a sinker. Filthy.

  • i wish i knew how to pitch like the japanese. they look so deceptive.

  • half of those were not strikes

  • 1:47 "Jim Thome"

  • Tom Cheney holds the record for any game: 21 strikeouts in 16 innings

  • japanese leagues have ridiculous strike zones, not just in this game

  • strike zones are only big in japanese highschool baseball. the others are the same size.

but yeah, its pretty dam big

  • @simpsons4life333 thats true, but it does make the batters more aggressive, therefor making the game a bit more interesting.

  • in japan the strikezone is bigger

  • @n94gjbaseballer which means more swinging which means more contact which means more action =)
