I got into them on my 10th birthday when my bro bought me the album, made me learn the guitar and now 28 years late I still cannot play this bastard song... what a great band...
This was probably the start for us as a film crew with me sort of directing without really knowing...I edited this too.....Its over exposed and the cameraman at the back had just got out of prison (totally true) so wasn't up to speed.....Thanks Ian Grant!
We also filmed at Leeds Town and Country on this tour as a safety with 3 cameras.
OH MY GOD.............the 80's............a guitar that sounds like bagpiipes......kilts.........I am 57 years young and wish I could go back back back back
anyone who was there to see this will never forget the electric atmosphere. never been to a concert since and felt the same!! i was second row. had a touch of his hand and i tell thee now, god can fuck off, stu would have put him to shame!!! R.I.P and peace be with you good pal, i'll hear your music again one day when i sit ion that concert hall in the clouds!!!!
I only discovered Big Country a month ago, but they quickly become one of my fav. bands, great sound, too bad I'll never have the chance to see them live! I have this DVD, it's awesome! Thanks for sharing!
@Segorean .glad u just discovered this band , as one of the honoured peeps to have seen this band live , they were just awesome live, far better than any bands i seen before and i have seen lots ..lots of headliners but none better than the BIG COUNTRY,, Live long in them 13 Valleys Stuart we miss you....
@Segorean The other guys are still out playing the music. The bassist was singing for them but the guy from the Alarm has joined them for this tour. They're missing Stuart though
Had the luck and honor to see this great and unique band live in Mannheim, Germany in 1996. Very lucky not only 'cause they rock, but because they hardly ever toured in the USA. I'll never forget that show - so sad for Stuart and all of us who loved this band. Very under-appreciated here in the States.
Thanks for uploading! I was here, the last concert I saw with Stuart. It was really, really hot so I had to go sit at the side of the hall... I enjoyed them so many years, so many concerts.. still miss them. Never got the appreciation they deserved..
No he didn't forget.......He took his off half way through the concert because it got to warm!! LOL!! Just thought you might want to know!! LOL!! It was a GREAT CONCERT!!
I won't forget seeing these blokes at Canada'a Wonderland. It was something for a transplanted Scot (not my choice). I remember almost getting into a fight with someone who made fun of the accent. Ahhh! Good times. Stuart; we'll ne'er forget you. Cheers.
Sad to see Stuart in the shape he is in here. :-(
