I'm with Savetto on Vasiel44's knowledge of Vampyres, he made himself look retarded to every Vampyre I've ever met, sanguine insulting I think. Its the nonsense that all vampyres are evil that comes into the cross problems. I knew one who had crosses all over his bedroom wall. Really ppl have to get over the sparkling in Twilight, God it makes me sick I hear it everywhere. Some Vamps are not day walkers & fry in sunlight. Their is so much added lore for vampires nowadays that nobody can agree what they actually are. One weakness like sunlight sounds stupid to some while weaknesses to crosses sound dumb to others.

The Vampires of the world possessed many different abilities. Some could inflict nightmares, others enthrall. Most were demons possessed of insatiable hunger and were very beastial.

@MorraMorgenstern Well, it did take most of things that Dracula has been known for and put it into the movie. (Charactoristics, traits, powers and abilities, etc.) so Van Helsing does actually relate very strongly to what Dracula has been know for originaly. :) and Dracula's demonic bat vampire form is badass, you gotta admit! :D

LOL, don't worry. I NEVER said anything bad about romance. I love romantic books such as the classic Jane Eyre, but the one from Twilight is crappy, unrealistic, and shallow. I suggest you should try Darren Shan books if you truly love vampires.

and the most exxagerrated thing they did to the vampires in the following books is that each have their own type of ability, some can control nature, others can predict the future, some can telechenisis. To all twillight-fans: These are NOT vampires, they are more like mutants from x-men or some bullshit, but not vampires.
