Towards the end there is a man standing on a car and there is a wheel. what is the wheel for? sorry but i don't know the proper terms.

He is standing on the Caboose and that is the Manual Brake Wheel for the Caboose.

@adelgado75 the wheel is used for when the uncouple the car. they spin the wheel till its done clicking, which applies the brakes.  its also known as the hand brake.

@northlanderdude yah I miss those days of seeing VIA power in Chicago thats when there was a full trrough train to Toronto which I feel they need to reinstate I have to go all the way to Buffallo now and than up on an Amtrak to Toronto but hell I usully just go the long way I go to Vancouver and catch the Canadian LOL I love that train
