I am probably getting a cannon vixia camcorder soon and I run everything on windows

I know that the cannon vixia needs a codec called h.264/mpeg4 avc or something like that sort

does the camcorder come with a disc that has that on it? like a install disc or a driver disc?

or do i have to download them myself somewhere?
