@MvPxBlackHawk ok my point is that "real" turntables aren't gonna be around much longer. like 8 tracks, and CD's its simply a dying format. so u can either hate it and call it cheating or you can get w/ the program and work w/ it while broadening ur horizons. digital IS the future and new things will come of it. yea syncing makes part of your job easier (maybe lamer) but it allows u to try other things instead. regardless how you feel about it, it's happening. trust me i LOVE my vinyls

@derrickjsmith vinyl isnt dying m8 :D and cds and mp3s dont get anywhere near the quality of vinyl. even the HQ 320kbps are shit when playing out of a decent system. i have .wav's that are +1000kbps ;) so as long as their are audiophiles like me around who care about quality, vinyl will always be good. and i think these toys in the video are good for abit of play, it doesnt warrent calling yourself a dj if you have one. because they are toys :D

@DjSzakyy With the Hercules, you get more Hot Cue buttons (6 from the looks of it), while you only get 3 on the Mixtrack Pro if I'm not mistaken.

Also, there are EQ kill buttons on the RMX, which might come in handy from time to time, depending on that you're doing, but this can be easily done by turning the knobs down instead.

It seems the only advantage the Mixtrack Pro has over the RMS are the big jog wheels.

I would say it would be a better idea to go with the RMX.

@JolleyGreen123 Launchpad is a very fun toy if you enjoy playing around with samples, loops and hot cues. Doesn't seem to be very good at mixing tracks though ;)

Usually people will have a controller like this Mixtrack Pro, and another controller that they assign for hot cues, if I'm not mistaken.

@KatanaNOOBY you mean one of the cue's are saying 'Cookie'? You just start and stop the cue point on that bit, just like you would with anything else.

@KatanaNOOBY Just imagine the Hot Cue buttons 1, 2 and 3 are like your normal Cue button next to the Play/Pause button. You go to a certain part in a track (while it's not playing), and then press Hot Cue 1, 2 or 3 to set the Hot Cue at that point.

@xxrustythermousxx he has a kaosolator, when he touches the screen it acts as a midi for whatever it is connected to and will pitch bend, cause delay, whatever the direction his finger moves on the pad is for, and it just makes the mix a little more unique and cooler sounding

@want2havebrains you dont use decks for that you have to use something like fruity loops or ableton, you can use use garage band but it is a lot harder to make truly unique drops
