No I think the opposite. The L96 will go further, but not consistantly hit the target. So the lower powered, more accurate rifle, will actually have, a longer "effective" range.
i would be glad if you answered this: Wich on of these too snipers are the best on to buy?(in your opinion) ASG L96A1 (not the Well) or the JG BAR10? Lets say im not goin to upgrade it,so keep in mind that the L96 shoots around 400fps (.30g bb) and the BAR10 only 320fps (.30g bb)
I had another question about your hat. Do you attach your fabric and ribbon and other things to your hat by netting? or is it attached a different way?
I have sewn various bits directly to the hat. Then I have added more by knotting it to the sewn pieces at each end to make a crisscross . Knots make for a more 3D and less uniform appearance.
@phantomTMA Hi, I was thinking of getting a Tanaka M40A1, however the 2Roy conversion kit is rather expensive and out of stock. Do you reckon id be able to pull of these sort of shots with the stock hop up but a tighter inner barrel?? also what hop rubbers will fit in and be the best for the tanaka m40a1 stock hop up. Thanks phantom :)
Check out our "m40 stalk and shoot" film. It was a purely standard rifle. The parts are expensive (they are over double what I payed for mine). I would forget the tight tanaka style inner barrel (you are better off with a 2roy kit and cheap vsr barrel). It fires far more consistantly once upgraded.
The original tanaka rubber is best in the original hop (unless you want to butcher it to mod a "best gun kit" to the hop unit).
I have a very accurate air rifle already (sharp innova) but the advantage these air rifles have, is you can shoot at people safely. This allows you to be able to hunt each other and give you the thrill of being the prey. Hitting a 80 yard target in the wind is a real challenge compared to conventional shooting.
Yes, to buy these rifles now needs membership to UKARA. However, if you bought them before the law changed you can keep them without membership;). You can buy parts and ammunition without membership. You can buy bright coloured versions without membership too. I have written permission to shoot on this private land and am not breaking the law in anyway =D.
phantom, i have a question x u. i heard about tanyo koba striped inner barrels. what do u think about that? i heard different opinions, someone really dislike it someone loves it. your opinion?
@SniperRulez89 Good Barrels, i've got one in my VSR and their really spot on!
Food for thought though, what fps do you plan on running?
If your staying sub-350fps then TK is i good bet, anything else and EdGI barrels are a winner hands down. Also bear in mind running a 500fps spring and just using heavier ammo doesn't work, its to do with the airflow around the BB, not the bb speed itself.
Thank you this really helps me to choose good sniper rifle. Maybe i should buy tokyo marui vsr-10 g-spec then? I was about to buy it first but then i saw that L96 aws. So what you think? Sorry about my bad english. I really cant even think about buying gas powered rifle cause its so cold in here finland.
@rambo7258 i suggest JG Bar 10 as fisrt rifle, it is fully upgradable. i have a vsr 10 g-spec marui now, it is wonderful but i think it is a big choice as first rifle. try bar 10 and upgrade it as your will. :)
@SniperRulez89 thanks, but its not my first rifle, i actually have one but it broke so have to buy better one. And they dont sell bar 10 in finland so i thought to buy vsr 10 g-spec, if you have it tell me if its worth of buying? ^^ thanks
@rambo7258 vsr 10 g-spec marui is a great rifle. i have it. but if in ur country there r no laws about rifle power u shouyld replace the srping with a stronger one. mine has 90/1 J . it is the maximum in my country. i did not mod it and it is really really accurate and silent. i payed it 250 €.
good video! thumbs up and favorited, and btw you know maruis new L96 aws? is it worth of buying? i'we been thinking of buying it but i want to hear your opinion first
What type of Bucking do you use in your VSR-10? I am lost on buckings, thanks

Oh...didnt knew that, thx! what effective range do you expect for both of the rifles?

Where do you buy your guns.

thx! But dont you think that the L96 will work much better at longer ranges?

I would buy the BAR10. My BAR10 is 370fps (0.20g) out of the box.

Love the ribbon in your hat! And what sort of cap are you using? looks like a ball cap but i'm not completely sure.

Thanks. The cap is a USMC short peaked cap. I find them better than baseball caps.

king arms sell a rebranded hop kit too.

u need to get an air rifle, these seem to be very innacurate and very easily blown by the wind

good video and good sniper. Very compliment for your son.

6mm? Are you shooting them plastic bearings used for airsofting? Or metal ball bearings?
RusWehrmacht 1 year ago
These are plastic 5.95mm BB's. They weigh less than half a gram and are much easier to blow off course than air pellets or rifle bullets.
Good Hunting ;)

TK barrels are designed for the Japanese market (limited to under 328fps) and once you up the power, they do not work as designed.
