  • please do more tutorial video (y)

  • This tutorial was the best for me cuz I could already do the kick up. I never knew that the kick up could help with the front handspring X_X. I like the roll kick up variations, now I learned new stuff!

  • I think I sprained my rist.... why is back so much easier than front

  • this is not as easy as it looks : P

  • so damn helpful. been able to do a kipup for a while and this is just fuckin sweet.

  • It looks like he has a bonner at the end

  • What helped me alot was the swing or my right leg

  • Comment removed

  • I saw the boxer Prince Naseem accidently fall on the floor with his opponent (tripped) on his back. He did a kip up followed straight away by a front handspring (head) , it looked awesome.

  • Press 3 and 4 repeatedly

  • which kind of handspring should be easier, the one presented in the beginning or in the end of the video with legs together?

  • @Tullaris666

looks like the first one would be easier.

you have more momentum that way.

  • @tubeofyous well, it seems to be the more popular version, so guess you're right...

heh, I still have problem with getting good height with my kip up, I can't land it in a straight standing position... but I'm getting there :D

  • @Tullaris666

I have a problem with over rotating mine, so I either land on my face or instinctively roll.

  • @tubeofyous over rotating a kick-up? :D maybe try to land it on all fours, and after a few times you should get it instinctively... My guess is that you're a little afraid about the height, and you kick back/behind with your legs to much after getting in the air... go for height! even if you were to fall on your neck at first :D... but do it on the mattress :D

  • @Tullaris666 I don't really kick backwards with my legs at all. I think I push to hard with my hands.

The way I do them is to go up with my legs, and spin with my arms.

  • @tubeofyous well this is confusing, I don't really understand how it looks in reality :)

  • @Tullaris666

I can understand that. If someone were describing it to me I wouldn't know what it looked like.

  • Can you also do a tutorial on back handspring?

  • My freinds now fear me

  • i guess its call FORDER

  • Team Ryouko i am your verry verry big fan.you all are my idol.i like your all video.and chris mark i like you so much.(from india)

  • I was learning kip up all the day, but I couldn't land into even sitting position, but when I was walking my dog in the evening, I tried handsrping, and I DID IT! Thanks a lot for this tutorial!

  • He looks like a robot

  • Wahnsinn

  • this kinda suck i learn front handspring first then head plus handspring then LAST kip up

  • El mejor video de youtube¡¡¡¡

  • I just got this movement thanks to this video!!

I learnt the Kip up yesterday, and I got this movement in more or less 10 tries today... So if you can do the kip up, GO AND TRY THIS! you'll definetely get it!

  • its nice to see all those steps....and im just getting troubles with the last one...i will get it..

  • wo ho i got it!

  • not how i do front handsprings but this one looks way better so i shall do it tomorrow

  • BOBO AYON LANG KAYAMO

  • You guys are fucking amazing. Thanks for the tutorial too! :D

  • I BROKE MY NECK TRYING THIS!

Jks, but it does hurt a little. :(

I could kip up before I saw this and I learnt how to do a front roll kip up today. I can do that 70% of the time now.

BUT I JUST CAN'T DO A HEAD SPRING KIP UP! Tips? Help please?

  • wow never thought of using this approach... thanks :]

  • fronthandsprings arent that complicated

  • I CANT GET BACK UP FROM THE BRIDGE POSITION!!!!!!!!

  • what the hell does a kickup have to do with a front handsprin i think i landed it up right about the 11 thime i tried it i traned first

  • quick question if youve got some time ofc :) do you ben your arms alot or slightly or just as much as you think you need and if you wanna do more then 1 front handspring do you keep your body straight cause if i land it i kinda go to like crouch :s thx in advance

  • @timothy4654

Keep your arms straight. They shouldn't bend. You have to push from your shoulders.

  • The greatest tutorial i've ever seen, keep up the good work xsd!!! :)

  • weh ganahan ko ani teh!!!

  • Agree.. This is one of the best FrontHandspring!!!!

  • when the weather clears outside ill try it but best video found yet

  • Genuis tutorial this teaches you to progress up to a front hand spring

  • @glovisy try som flexibility practice

if you cant bend that way you may not be flexible enough

  • gr8 vid

  • I can kick into a bridge, and can't get up!!! I tried pushing it faster and everything...

I'm trying to do this for about 2 months..... plz help me!!!

    watch?v=Fw895j0hDFM

  • Omg! This helped me a bit more thanks!

  • great tutorial now i can do bridges, kip ups, head kip ups (nice), and front handsprings... only took a couple weeks.

  • duuuude. I've tried so many different ways to do this, and none of them worked. This is the only one that I can actually do. It may take a while; but practice makes perfect!

  • DO NOT USE THIS TUTORIAL.

This si probably the hardest, longest way of learning a handspring and then even if you get this technique perfect the move itself still will look awful becuase of having learnt it this way, it is totally unnecessary to be able to 'kip up' all you require is the ability to step into a handstand.

  • i tried 40 of these and it didint come out that good! and now for sure i'll get them affter this tutorial

    5*s

  • ponele la firma es....

  • pasaros por mi canal

  • Where did you get these tutorials from??

  • Anyone knows where can I find more tutorial videos of team Ryouko?

  • That dude has some tiny feet.

Sorry, haha, it was the first thing that came to mind, but excellent tutorial, nonetheless.

  • @RushTor lol iamo

  • SUUUUK bitch

  • i can kip up :D

  • i want to learn ryouko all the steps of it XD

  • Comment removed

  • pushn faster the floor with your arms

  • awe i wish i could help but im new to this to.... i dont know how to do this

  • @Rohan4basu flexibility

you may not be able to do those things becasue your not flexible enough. in which case try som flexibility exercises and when you can bridge yourself try the kip up again and go on from there

  • very helpful if you can do a crab lolz =SS i cant get my legs straight anyone know any techniques and like so i can get that right? =SS

  • i can do the handspring.

but i can't do the rest of the things in this vid.

    so my handspring looks ugly.

  • Heeelpfuulll :)

  • Their videos are great because they start out and do the move then describe the technique. Most people talk, talk, talk and talk and it isn't clear to what they are referring to or if they have any skill.

  • It's really not that hard! It's probably the same difficulty of a cartwheel. Did you know almost everyone can do a front hand spring but 95% of people "think" they can't because of their fear of falling? If you're that 95% I recommend a spotter ^^

  • nahh its not the same difficulty as a cartwheel.

(well technically it is in the gymnastics COP, but w/e)

the front handspring is a blind landing and a lot of people dont do it with proper form

arms straight, legs straight, shoulder block, ect.

  • i am not spoting i'm doing my first one here on the carpet.

  • thanks that helped i just learned the kip up a few weeks ago i didnt know i could use that to do a handspring, nice

  • By far the best front hanspring tutorial on youtube!

  • @ESCAPEDCONVICT01 its because its a tutorial from team ryouko

  • my elbows and knees are always bent when i try ding the bridge. can someone help me p lease.

  • what are u talkin about hes in TEAM RYOUKO

  • amazing

  • mmmm cool

  • Does anyone else feel their lowerback compressed when doing the bridge?

  • Great video!

  • lol i nid to run at least 2or3 metres b4 i can do my handspring, wtf he can do it on e spot

  • just practise i guess

  • at the moment, im starting to find the actual handspring easier than the kip up, but i have really bad wrists so i wont be able to do any of this for much longer

  • I can't even do a bridge. My back doesn't curve like that! Help!

  • pop your shoulders it should help you get over a lot easier

  • @glovisy work out and strech

  • I don't have access to a springy mattress, what would be the next best thing?

  • @glovisy maybe you could try to do this agaist a wall: from standing in front of the wall watch back and put the hands back in the wall slowly like doing a bridge and try to go down with the hands until you touch the ground,if you can't do a bridge after(impossible), you cold try to put the hands close to the head while doing the bridge.

  • @glovisy I bet you're fat. lose weight, fatto.

  • @glovisy stretch, stretch, stretch :).... try to take a deep breach and kinda elongate the spine when you're arching

  • gaaah my back D':

  • he doing everything perfect

  • i don't think kick up is necessary, it helps but not necessery

  • those are some awesome drills for teaching front handsprings.

thanks!! i'll be using those :)

  • what do you do if you dont have a mat?

  • I learned on carpet downstairs, it really doesn't hurt

  • lolz but at the moment i dont have carpet down stairs we're pimping the house :p

  • that's true, it doesn't, but after awhile of slamming into the floor, I kept getting headaches. Still haven't been able to do a kip up yet.

  • i can both of those kip up styles but the hand spring is hard :'(

  • ty so much, i was able to get it w/ this tutorial (w/ a person watching me of course) :DDD

  • this was great :)

  • What if I can't bridge? Does that stop me from doing a front handspring?

  • no, my dad does it a different way u land with ur legs bended. and u dont need to do a bridge.

  • so as long as your off the floor you should be able to do it?

  • nice one thanks

  • very helpfull boy

  • Wow never thought of learning it that way, it would have been fun but i already have the move!

  • peace u'r the top

  • lol wow i did the exact same progress to a front handspring... oh yehh if it helps -running into a front handspring makes it easier =)

  • hey i always end up doing a 180 while im doing the hand spring. i had them down perfect with no problem 2 days ago but now im doing 180s in them. any help?

  • if you want to do this trick you must have damn strong hands!

  • very good vid.

i have a problem with the roll kip up: when i'm doing the front role, i can't stop for doing the kip up. can someone give me an advice how to do this?

  • roll slower, don`t try to stop, practise...

  • I have exactly the same problem =) But I'm hoping to get it right soon, =)

  • thanks man!! Helped me alot.

  • nice vid. helped a lot.

  • nice vid. at the start he perfectly explains how to start, if you are a noob like me

  • lol he has a boner no homo

  • its easier to do when ur small sized like me, im like rly underweight ^^

  • Waaa! Its Soooo Annoying! Im Always Falling Back Into One, Buh I Have No Strengh To Lift Myself Up!!!! :(

  • same wid me lol

  • The tutorial looks harder than the actual move!

  • It says not to attempt this ...lol and like everyone is " i tried this and i hurt myself " its funny hehe

  • ughhh how do u do that?? like im trying to learn how to do that so i can do a flip throw in soccer. but when i try that handspring like i get upside down and my body just stops, my wrists hurt, and i just fall down. i need help!!

  • XD 2 moves in one!

  • Lol. Looks like Jet Li ! Nice vid

  • yeah thanks!!! its great!!!

  • lol i tried doin that and i hurt my toe!!!!

  • THANKS I WILL TRY

  • Duuudes, I need help! I managed the front handspring now, but my knees are bent to much. Thats not healthy for my knees. So how can I land with my legs more streched??

It doesn't work just with more power, more rotation or a deep push up. =(

  • Keep them straight.

  • If u meant the arms - yes! I now figured out that I need to keep my arms straight and to kick one leg up and pull the other one to it afterwards. Now it works quite good! :)

  • execellent!

  • Interesting. Ive never seen a tutorial that started this with a Kip up. Im impressed. You guys really know how to start some one from the basic fundementals to complete the advanced goal. Im impressed. The best front handspring tutorial Ive seen yet. Not that I expect anything less from what Ive seen of your team!

  • lol...why so serious? =]

  • Good tutorial, helped me a lot until now. But it's pretty hard. I now managed to learn the Kip up, but it took me like one month of practise. And my front handspring still looks aweful. :D

The best way to learn it is to try it over and over, instead of watching tutorials =)

  • yeah, but where? there is no place for it in my flat!

  • You can practise outside in the grass. In winter it's a bit cold, that's right^^ But look for a gym in your neighborhood that has some kind of a free day in the week where you can practise whatever you want.

Me, I practise the Front handspring in my Aikido Dojo. You'll find something if you look for it, I'm sure ;)

  • i practice kyokushin karate, i'll try to focus on the handspring there :D

  • This is a very nice tutotial, it explains it to you step by step!I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn them.

  • amazing! This is when I feel proud of my people! it was the best tutorial I found so far! thank you!

  • thats wasnt right ur supposed to land stright

  • The only problem for me is that when my legs reach the highest point, I don't know what to do after that. What usually happens when my legs reach there is my torso turns....

  • When your legs go up you basically do the Kipp flip.Or you can also Bend your legs in a bridge position and push really hard. The first way is easier.Good luck

  • yeah thats pretty easy once you get the hang of it.but i think its easier on the floor then on vault. But trampoline is a very good way to learn it.I can do all of those things.Good luck

  • awesome stuff

  • i cant bridge

thats y i cant do it

  • i can't bridge either but i got it! Just keep working

  • now that is what i call a tutorial! :D

  • yeah, this is what i'm calling a tutorial. and it works, i practiced two weeks and today i made a handspring. thankyou;) p.s. sorry about english :D

  • YES! That tutorial is awesomely good!

I tried the handspring for some time now and I hardly improved, but that's a big help!

    I'll try it soon!

  • awesome! had been a great help! thanks alot.

  • How to d a kip up like that?

i tried doing that but i landed in a squatting position. Tips anybody? THX A LOT

  • great tutorial but please make more:P

  • wow! ill try it:)

  • Best tutorial ever

  • thank you, with your video now i can do frontal handspring!

  • beautiful.. now i have to develop my upperbody strenght to support my weight. and also get over the fear of injuring my self

  • this is not a front handspring... a front handspring is when u go from a handstand to a bridge and up on ur feet..

  • thats a front walkover =) what he does in the tutorial IS a fronthandspring

  • ouh!! ... well thanks for clearing it up... =D!!

  • thats a walkover fool

  • this isn't a front handspring, its actually called a move called bounder

  • as if you knew

  • chill i take gymnastics

  • so you actually don't know gymnastics isn't the only sport out there with names or moves...

  • nah but i take gymnastics yo, so in gymnastics and bboy this move is called a bounder. not a front handspring yo thats what you land with your feet apart.

  • I see, thanks for sharing that piece of information.

  • word
