It's just as bad on an actual SNES. MKIII sounds the exact same way as well.

SNES emulators (i.e ZNES) are better in every way than the actual console (able to run games in MUCH higher resolution and framrate, play ONLINE,etc.) so why would they have inferior quality picture/sound????

Most of the sound effects are held out for WAY too long. That's the main thing. Some songs don't sound like they should, either. I mean, the sounds are the same, yes, just it's not absolute 100% emulation, and only because of some sound effects.
