Does breathing air impart ideas onto you that are justification for horrible acts? Sorry, don't think so. There is a very large difference between a belief system that has been demonstrated to perpetuate violence and a benign act necessary for survival. The analogy fails at a fundamental level.

No but it doesn't change the fact that extremists use Islam as a guise for their acts and manipulate others through the religion. That doesn't make the religion bad or the majority of its followers terrorists. It also doesn't account for the west's misinterpretation or media hype.
It also doesn't account for the west's own hand in training and grooming the terrorists, or their countless invasions that spark retaliation in terrorist like acts. We're terrorists to them.
