Time is a best healer. It's been seven years for me and only now I feel like slowly the process of getting over is showing some results. And for girls - if you get rejected, dumped, cheated on - don't stalk the poor sod, don't manipulate things to get him back, certainly don't cheat back - just deal. Sit in a room, alone with yourself, analyze what happened and face the truth. Be super strong and it will pay you back, you'll get wiser.

my solution is probably to just tell them "hey, i like u, do i have a chance?" response: "um, no" "oh ok then" and then continue the friendship. but catch it early so that u don't get.... misled. lol plus then u don't have to mourn for long cos u weren't that into them to begin with, cos u told them early.

@DancerluvJB Happened to me, but I only liked the guy for a couple of months, and now I'm really glad that I didn't date him, he was weird and clingy.... At the time, I was pretty crushed, because another guy I'd liked on and off for years ended up dating one of my other friends just a few months before... another tip in conjunction with dont be needy: dont text her every night for homework. a guy did that to me for 2 years & we were pretty good friends & it just annoyed me as i had to type it all out, i thought he was thick & wasn't bothered with school thus leading me to cut all contact with him only to be told 2 years later 'he only did that to talk to you because he likes you' at which stage i was sick of him & wanted nothing to do with him despite the fact that i did like him until the texts

i remember i got rejected ... it was the WORST feeling ever! i really liked this boy i told him a month later i really like him .. he said he didnt like me i cried that whole night and next day.still really like him and its 9months down the line. i see him at parties n his friends always take me mick my saying '(name) likes you' or his friends will say to me he likes me. upsets me so much i just want to talk to him about it and be friends again as he dont talk anymore :(

I agree with the last one for sure. I liked this guy for years and the way I got over him was that my best friend started dating him! Sounds cruel but it made me realize he really wasn't all that I had cracked him up to be. Great video!

@DancerluvJB Happened to me, but I only liked the guy for a couple of months, and now I'm really glad that I didn't date him, he was weird and clingy.... At the time, I was pretty crushed, because another guy I'd liked on and off for years ended up dating one of my other friends just a few months before... And so I totally agree with the last one too, just take some time to be away form the person, and around your friends and things start to get better :)

another tip in conjunction with dont be needy: dont text her every night for homework. a guy did that to me for 2 years & we were pretty good friends & it just annoyed me as i had to type it all out, i thought he was thick & wasn't bothered with school thus leading me to cut all contact with him only to be told 2 years later 'he only did that to talk to you because he likes you' at which stage i was sick of him & wanted nothing to do with him despite the fact that i did like him until the texts

U have to be asserted and have high regard for yourself. if you respect and love yourself and just see that other person wonderful addition not necessity in ur life ull see a mych happier lovelife. Being open and honest but also patient reserved will lead to a more a natural response.

Also helps to have a good frame of mind im best friends with a girl who used to like me probably still does and were both fine with it being like that so admiting feelings isnt the end of the world :)
Im friend with ALOT more girls than guys even get called a pimp by my male friends :| Might have something to do with that that i can get over them easier :)
