It breaks my heart to see how mean and disrespectful some americans can be. I too am an american but when I go to pages like this and see the heartless comments its unbelievable. Officers are fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, daughters, sons, best friends, and spouses. You never know when someone in your family will take the high road to put their life on the line for someoe they don't know. Then and only then will you understand how heartbreaking it is to see how it feels.

And to say you hate someone because of their profession, wow, how much more ignorant can you be. You can't blame all officers because of a few bad ones, just like you can't blame all teachers for the few bad ones you see on tv. I had great teachers. As for my profession, I choose to be an officer because I love helping people. This is a memorial page, have respect.

How stupid and heartless can some of you be? Officers don't get overtime pay for attending our fallen brothers/sisters funerals. We do it out of love and devotion. And when an officer dies it's not a black or a white thing. Would you risk your life for someone you don't know for $50,000. Officers do it everyday and not for the money but because God saw fit to put on earth his angels in uniforms. You're so quick to put down officers but when you need help, that's who you call.
