This song gave me an idea, Portal 3: Doug Rattmann's Story, it should be kind of like in the comic, you play in current time, then in the past (before glados kills everyone), then current time, back and forth... I think that would be amazing. Anyways the portal series are defiantly my all time favorite games. Such a deep meaning.

This is one of the best videos I've seen with this song. Personally, I would have liked to have seen a bit of GLaDOS somewhere, pre-reactivation, but this is absolutely great as it is. It runs so smoothly with the song.

@an8bitwarlock Well the thing is that the song from Portal 2 was trying to be exactly the same thing all over again: a catchy but forgettable little song that comes out of nowhere and surprises you. I thought it worked the first time, but the second time I saw it coming a mile away, so it lost that appeal and just felt like them phoning in fanservice to the same people who wouldn't shut the hell up about the song from the first one.

@terminalblue i think the portal 2 song tried harder to be more of an actual song then a joke. i was impressed with the glitch trip-hop instrumentation as well as the catchier vocal hooks this time around, but that's of course reliant on my taste in music

@terminalblue I wouldn't have liked Exile Vilify as the ending song, it would have given it all a kind of phony pseudo-emotional feeling which I would never have expected from VALVe. Portal is more on the joking side anyways.

This captures the atmosphere of the game perfectly. It was thoughts like the imagery you displayed that ran through my head when i came across this song hidden in the game. It's what made that moment all the more powerful to me, and gave me greater reluctance to part with it the moment i brought it with me through the particle field.

We all carried this song with us through the test chamber. Admit it.

I found the little radio in the hidden chamber randomly and i could not just walk away, i carried it throughout that test chamber while solving the puzzle, it completely made my experience for the game. Then after i completed the game i came to youtube to find the song....... and here i am :)
