Some people in here mentioned some really good places search
Im thinking ipsoft with ps3 eye as it has 60 frames second.
But i like kinect with it's full featured setup but lacks support until asus launches wavi xtion soon maybe for pc hears hoping.
But you cant beat a real mo cam while optitracks sells them for 2 grand expensive but 250 frames a second is nuts. so any one got any links for me ideas, i need a mo cam if not ill settle 4 eye
@cildni I would advise against going with the Kinect option with ipisoft software for now. While the results are great considering only one camera is used, it's just too limiting when it comes to the movements you can do without doing a great amount of cleaning up the animation, since it cannot detect any gestures going behind your body and that makes any kind of body rotation impossible to do. So unless 2-3 Kinect cameras gets supported, i don't see this as a viable solution to work with.
Whats recommended camera for motion tracking,

@NextGenReport - yes this looks good, is it easy to use?

@Jocken75 Its quite easy to use and get into. Ipisoft has a free 30 day trial if you wish to try it yourself.

Very impressive and clean. Was this done with just one Kinect? How much cleanup did the animation require?

@cildni One Kinect, no cleanup done outside a smoothing filter.

Wow, that's pretty spectacular. Guess I'll be getting a Kinect once the final ipi software is out.
