  • Forget it! We are destroying ourselves here on Earth. At this rate, we will not make the next 100 years. Selfishness and ignorance is destroying everything.

  • 200 years to explore s ome moons?

I am saddened that such an apparently "smart" man doesn't believe in the law of exponential growth. It's a LAW for a reason people.

We'll be exploring those moons before the end of the century.

  • Furries

  • Do you guys think a world war 3 force us to go into space?

  • @Cireanimefan a world war 3 will blast us into space. With so many religious nutters armed with nuclear weapons we'd all die certainly.

  • Come on guys, this guy is saying this 2 years ago, and now some real stuff is starting to happen. To save the world we have to go into space, start repeating it LOUDLY. Say it to people who wouldn't expect it, say there's many people who say so, say it's a basic fact. We've got to go into space, and we've got a lot of reasons. Don't let the late adopters discourage you, they'll dig in their heels as usual, but we've got an honest basic fact.

  • I agree with everything this man says, and so should you guys

  • I wish what he says would happen already, it has to! If we were able to unite our planet under a common flag we would be able speed up the technical evolution of our species! America has so much technology that remains classified. We are living 30 years in the past...

  • yes but thats the start to everlotion on another planet its kinda obv we cant stay on earth look we usein pink bags to collect out used, we need to go into space to stay a race as humans or we will die thats the fact end of

  • How old is this ??

  • You might be right. If one planet blows itself up then there will be other human occupied planets to continue on. That or there will simply be more planets on which we can all blow ourselves up upon?

  • I don't agree with everything with Professor Hawking says, but he is wise well beyond his years. Can you imagine being a human born on another planet, a colony, or even on a spaceship??????

  • A common challenge is what the world needs.

  • Wouldn't it be bad taste if Stephen Hawking played Second Life as a wheel-chaired furry?

  • lol

  • No, he had live audiences both in the material world and virtual world at the same time!

  • Is this a hoax?
