  • There's a lot going on in this scene but who da FACK did Jim Backus' make up?

    Really...?

  • Mike DOES look very nice in a leather jacket.

  • the comedic parts of these bad movies are always sadder and more of a downer than any of there melencoly parts.

  • 09:37 the face on the "kid" saved this "movie" "for" "me" "..."

  • Ironic, when the movie you're trying to make about strong females sets the feminist movie back 50 years...

  • The exploding Fonz skit, was that just "random silliness" or is that in a certain context?

  • "Meanwhile on the beaches of Scotland"

    Haha

  • is it just me or does the crazy militant leader guy sound A LOT like Cesare Romero's joker?

  • I wish more fundamental extreme right survivalist compounds were like this one.

"Im just going to look away until the funny part's over." I hear ya Crow, I hear ya.

I keep hitting 'like' for this video, but it's a lie. I HATE this movie!!!

    Thanks for uploading ;)

  • This "torture" scene is every man's dream, right?

  • My period!

  • So it's not okay to do drugs but it's okay to torture someone?

  • @devilshomie And steal someone's belongings who has done nothing wrong, and steal a car, and destroy property...

  • 63 cent gas? Those were the days.

  • holy shit, do they actually chop that guy's dick off. these women are the real criminals here

  • "This was Jim Backus' first film after he died."

    lol

  • Jim Fuckin Backus....where's Bob Denver WHERE THE FUCKIS>>>>>>>>

    Mary Ann ?

This movie sucks...lets see some old time interaction from alan hale and jim backass

    come on...this all sucks

This is like stupid pornography ...without the pornography...

  • So...they have a problem with kids getting drugs...but see no harm at all in letting an untrained kid have a gun and use it as one would a toy? And aren't they supposed to be role models? At least the drug dealers are earning their money, not stealing. lol

  • "It's Knight Rider, for moms"

  • Leftist woman stealing guns...ironic.

  • Man, they could start between my legs any time...

  • I have no idea why, but seeing Mike get destroyed so casually in the host segment kept me laughing for years. :)

  • is it just me, or does Mike look ADORABLE in leather?

  • ... meanwhile on the beaches of scotland

  • Hmmm, looks like these women having possession of guns is more dangerous then the drugs.

  • Is it just me, or are the blonds and the Asian the only women who AREN'T butt ugly? I've seen plenty of beautiful black women in my time, but the one in this film makes me want to retch.

  • LOL does crow pull a one-cheek-sneak @7:47 !?

  • @hardluckart hes tummy kissing her.

  • @hardluckart No, he's pointing to the black chix pert nipple!

  • That poor old man. Punched into a wall and and laughed at by sexy women.

  • Kids doing hard drugs? Oh it must be Oakland

  • "My Period!"

  • Jim Backus was in Myra Breckinridge, and yet this is more embarrassing.

  • "Jim Backus IS the god of wine" lol am I the only one that got that one? haha

  • @GunshyPigeon Nope XD

  • "This was Jim Backus' first film after he died."

    Indeed.

  • 2:03 i Love that when the movie starts talking about donations, the MST 3K information comes up lol. hint hint anyone?

  • I'm pretty sure they had a Fascist Petting Zoo at the Hitler Building, before those Neptunians blew it up!

  • I just noticed that Jim Backus it the voice of Mr Magoo.

  • Gotta love that Jim Backus looks like an ousted third world dictator yet comes across as militant as Colonel Sanders.

  • Not only that, but I have to agree with Crow. He looks like he was made up by a mortuary school dropout.

  • theyre stealing guns from the tea party!!

  • at that gas station sean...... i saw 53 cents a gallon !!!!

  • Oil crisis my ass!! :-P

  • @linoleumcarving when i lived in hawaii in the early 70's gas was 35 cents a gallon. I could fill up my '64 Pontiac Tempest for about 4 bucks.

  • UGH!_ this is the worst since The Creeping Terror !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • -LOVEY?!

    And there it is! LOL

  • 2:49 she doesn't actually have a watch over those gloves XD

  • @MadsterV I know, I'm amazed Mike and the bots didn't make a joke about that.

  • The first time I saw Mike as the Fonz getting asploded had me reeling for hours.

    *sigh* Good times... good times.

And, I have to admit the "Look everyone! I made a pottie!" :D and "Women; and they're fully boob'd!" riffs get smiles out of me every time.

  • It's a white Kim Jong-Il.

  • I was hoping never to see Jim Backus in thigh-high boots.

...and we're thinking of starting a fascist petting zoo.

I'm just gonna look away until the funny part's over.

  • "These survivalists couldn't survive a grape embargo."

  • Jim Baccus had a son named Max, who is currently a senator for Montana. :P

  • @Dulcimerist Which he should apologize for.

  • Jim Backus has the lovely skin tone of elderly white men with impending liver failure

  • This is what all Quentin Tarentino films look like to me. I think what they have in common is the clouds of "tantrum talc" that must have feulled them.

  • So she's willing to donate her breasts?

  • Jim Backus as John Philip Sousa.

  • LOL at their reaction to the dick chop scene!!!!

  • I've watched a lot of MST3K and never have I seen a movie with so few redeeming qualities. All the B sci-fi movies, the terrible 80s flicks, the made for TV movies, all of them have somehow been better than this. The riffing is funny, but wow, this movie might just be too bad to be saved by the Mike, Tom and Crow.

  • @nickwing00 There're at least 14 redeeming qualities in this movie.

  • @nickwing00 At least there's a lot of T&A, I think Future War is the worst experiment for me.

  • If only poor Jim Backus got residuals from Gilligan's Island! Of course not too many actors at the time did get residuals for their work. One of the few was Audrey Meadows, Alice from the Honeymooners. Of course she had a slight advantage: her brothers were lawyers! :D

  • Wow, Militia leader guy is really forthright with his racism, I'll him that.

  • @lobsopdoy you'll him that ?

  • Man, this guy is the worst drug dealer ever! He's mugged by a kid, and now he's captured and interrogated by these chicks.

  • commander march is a douche

  • In turns of being evil you can be both stupid and smart. For example Dr Robotnik in AoStH was a genius as he could build robots but always had crap plans. Bond villains such as when in You Only Live Twice sent helicopters to kill Bond just after Bond was going to fly away anyway when he saw nothing.

  • 'This was Jim Backus's first film after he died.'

  • Yes but wasn't the actual Circus of the Stars, Circus of the... oh never mind.

What is that "...... in a Chevy van and that's alright with me?" They referred to it in I think Hobgoblins and Soultaker as well. Dworkinfest '78! Hey I just got that, I was just reading about Andrea Dworkin. I love suddenly getting something they are referring to! :D

  • luv that 70's 7 UP bottle.

  • This was Jom Backus' first movie after he died.

    Circus Of The B-Movie Stars!

  • O, poor poor Jim Backus, how well we knew thee. BOOBS!

  • pretty hard to knock over a bottle with a bullet and not break it.

  • lol @ the Hudson Bros. reference. the Hudson Bros were the ONLY 70s has-been act that did NOT appear in this film.

    XD

  • 'No Michelle, I'l do it. I'll bring her back here and teach her how to fire a gun... Even if it kills me.'

eh, thats a pretty good joke on the writers part.

  • @jekblom123 The script is only funny where they try NOT to be.

  • Miss Jane Pittman in "Striking Distance".

  • if he died by getting thrown form his favorite horse, I'd hardly call that "in the saddle."

    shit dialogue.

    GET 'EM BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!=D

  • I think that Mike makes a better Fonz than the Fonz

  • Yeah. He can jump ten sharks if he wanted to!

  • There is not one single line of dialogue in this movie that is worth hearing. I'll admit that I'm no great actress, but I could do a better job than any of these characters.

I think in terms of acting ability these guys are worse than the Hobgoblins actors.

  • @ChaoticYak but Hobgoblin was a worse film overall.

  • 7:49 & 7:53 CROOOOW! XD

  • bakus's best role sine gilligans planet

  • Here's where we grow dirt!

  • These are a few of my favorite lines (from this segment): "These survivalists couldn't survive a grape embargo." "Women, and they're fully boobed." "I'm the NRA and it's fun!" "Go ahead on 7, tight pants." "This a tough fourth step."

  • How to make people away of dangerous miltia groups? Make them buffoons!

"I'm just going to look away until the funny part's over"

"So Jim Bacchus is the god of wine?"

    "It's Dworkinfest '78!"

  • this was jim bachus' first film after he died.

  • Uh...THESE guys are going to start World War 3?

This is the problem with parodying political enemies. Sometimes its too tempting to portray them as idiots AND threats.

  • Kinda reduces their impact as a valid threat, doesn't it?

It's as if it's not enough that they're racist, they have to be *stupid* as well... =/ Way to soften the blow for the masses, movie.

  • It recalls to mind Bush era villains that had to be evil, stupid, AND some how a threat. Now Avatar is doing the same thing; the bad guys are evil AND stupid.

You can't have it both ways!

Why can't bad guys in movies just represent bad things, instead of being politically motivated strawman potshots?

    Strikes me as a waste.

  • Maybe there's a tiny chance that the people determining what goes into popular movies aren't actually that intelligent / imaginative? ;)

  • Nooooooo! O_o

  • Yup, and thus our fragile grasp of reality crumbles like so many biscuits.

Write your own stories, people! =D

  • Completely agree.

I'm a huge proponent of independent filmmaking for that very reason.

Hollywood is just one place movies can be made. Not the only place.

  • As a self-employed writer in the rural UK, I can only nod in agreement and high-five you!

  • Actually you can have it both ways. You'd have to be stupid to be a villain after all. Being stupid doesn't always revolve around lack of intelligence but also lack of common sense. A scientist does what he can to help mankind in some way depending on his field of study. If a scientist willingly works for an evil douche, then he's stupid for wanting to help some maniac.

  • But you can be incredibly smart and incredibly evil.

I'd postulate Mao. A ruthless and powerful statesmen and an absolute monster O_o

  • Intelligence doesn't specifically mean you still don't do something dumb. Mao was an idiot for doing what he did to China. It was a wonderful country once. It still is, but due to Mao, many of the people live as slaves and don't know it.

  • @bloodrunsclear

I think ruthlessness is less of not knowing the difference between right and wrong, it's choosing not to use it. I don't think it's intelligence, so much of as it's a blind devotion to personal ideals.

Besides remembers Spaceballs: Good can be dumb too. :D

  • Just observe the film, "The Atomic Brain" to see this good point.

  • Thank you for the carification.

  • Comment removed

  • Well, that's a massive generalisation! You should consume more Japanese fiction if you think ALL their villains are just irrational maniacs.

No one country has a singular belief of how something should be. Besides, from what I've seen Japanese film in particular has shown a real trend for "grey area" villains since the late 90s, so I dunno where you're getting your info.

  • So...they're doing all this because of how the scumbag dealers are corrupting kids, but they let a kid help them steal guns, teach her how to fire guns, and let her watch as they torture someone?

  • Um...yep. What a likable group of characters, eh? (>.>)

  • What's distrubing is how happy and excited the girl is about somone being tourtured.

  • They're revoking his MEMBERship.

  • I love it. They rob innocent people with different beliefs. They kidnap a man without evidence and torture him. They steal a car... And they are worried about people selling drugs!~? XD

  • It is funny. This movie has to set the opponent's intelligence level VERY low to allow these airhead girls even a REMOTE fighting chance XD

  • .....Aaaaand once again Graydon Clark out-Ed Woods Ed wood. Filmed on location in hell. Mst3k performs comedy alchemy - Imagine just watching this film "normally" -It would serve as a pretty solid defense case in a trial of someone snapping & going on a random killing spree.

  • They're right, Andrea Dorkin probably loves this movie, what with the genital mutilation and bouncing boobs

  • They're revoking his MEMBERship. XD

  • I always liked that host segment. Direct and to the point.

  • "He got swine flu". Swine flu?! SWlNE FLU?!?

Um, psychic MST3K? You're scaring me.

  • Not really. There was a swine flu epidemic in the mid 1970s. I still remember the news footage of President Ford rolling up his sleave to receive a then-controversial swine flu vaccine.

  • Doesn't mean it's not freaky. Anyone else remember the reference to Guantanamo Bay in Progress Island, USA?

  • @gpfoster1966 If by "epidemic" you mean "one actual death caused by the disease and hundreds caused by a shoddily made vaccine."

  • @DrWhiggs Point well taken, Doctor.

  • @gpfoster1966 What do you mean, "then" controversial? People are still whining about taking a shot.

  • 6:16

Orin Thompson was a real estate developer in the suburban Twin Cities. My parents live in one of his houses.

That was the most obscure reference I ever got from them!

  • just when i thought this movie was creepy enough, these old militia guys show up. Blech.

  • My period!

I nearly choked on my sandwhich at that.

  • I can't believe I am saying this but this movie would actually work better as a porno.

  • @sipioc Hot actresses with no shame, no budget, and no plot. That's pretty much how most porno starts, but noooooo, this guy wanted an ACTION film....

  • @Tareltonlives Da shame

  • @sipioc Probably because the Wilson chick WAS in porn.

  • omg! I just noticed that Crow gives Terry a raspberry at 7:54! It's little things like that that keep me coming back to MST3K again and again. :D

  • 7:21

Yeah, poor kid...She almost killed us after we gave a 13 year old girl a hand gun.

  • "This was Jim Bacchus' first movie after he died."

"Look, everyone! I made a potty!"

"I'd rather spend a weekend in Robert Bork's underpants than watch more of this!"

  • Very fortunate that these girls are in the only town in the world, where every male in it is a floppy, no muscle-toned rodeo clown. Sheesh!

  • I'm impressed they only made one "Fox Force Five" reference.

  • @kailefipne According to MST3Kinfo, "Fox Force Five" was inspired by this movie

As much as I love Tarantino, I have no trouble believing that he unironically loves this movie.

  • 6:14

...So...she punched him...just because he simply won't let servants in the house?

...Every single Male in this movie is either dumb, a evil bastard, a good guy idiot, or their roles are too short?

No wonder the girls didn't do the logical thing and call the police.

  • Swine Flu reference....trip out!!

  • "It's Knight Rider, for moms!"

    "Sto! Sto or I'll shoo!"

So men are bubbling, sex-crazed morons?

The 12-year-old's mom must be pretty cool to let her hang out with gun-toting whores!

    "Why didn't you say something?!"

Hmm, gas costs "69" cents huh? Doubly ironic!

    "Kids just love genital mutilation!"

    "They're revoking his membership!"

  • "he got swine flue" O_o

  • And we are thinking about starting a fascist petting zoo. XD

  • Around the 8 minute mark. Gasoline for

.63 to .69 cents!!! The good 'ol days of 5MPG!

  • 4:00-4:30 "Sorry we had to destroy you Mike"... X-))

    LOVE the Asian girl!!!

  • "This was Jim Baccus first film after he died." Soda went up my nose on that one! )

  • @Mandi7882 I don't get that he would need more money after all those years on an island getting paid.

Would this be before the ''rescue from Gilligans Island'' 1977 ?

  • @linoleumcarving - whoops.Sorry, that was a joke on the character, Thurston Howell. Not the actors of the show itself as we know they got dissed for a long time in residuals.

  • :42 Again, MST3K predicts modern events.

  • MY PERIOD!

  • That was very heroic of that black chick to punch that defenseless old man in the face.

  • But don't you get it, he's a RACIST!! *rolls eyes*

Everyone knows violence is the final solu-- err, best way to solve problems.

  • The guy was at least 80 years old, as far as racists go he seems pretty harmless.

  • Well, yeah.. exactly my point.

    Irony lost over internet?

  • At the risk of starting a flame war, the white supremacist who killed a black security guard at the Holocaust museum was/is almost 90. Just saying.

  • this movie is so jive, but the riffing is so good!
