In case you haven't heard the song that this one's an answer to (Ima2130's 'Want You'), you really oughtta check it out. Both the song and performance of that one are incredible! LiliAna is awesome.

I am constantly surprised at the response I've gotten on this particular song. It came to me so quickly!- right after hearing LiliAna's song- and I would've liked to have done a better vocal on it, but I wanted to go on and get it out there before I messed around and lost/forgot something. I can't remember stuff worth a flip!

I am honored that you would mention that about your brother, though. I feel truly honored when people find my song material to be real-life useful. Thank you so much.

Honestly, I can't remember if I've already replied to you on this but thank you!! LiliAna's tune was so brilliant and heart-busting that I could just feel an answer song coming the minute her gorgeous tune hit me...

And you're a songwriter, too, you know how it is. Songs won't leave you alone until you let them out and give them life.

Wow oh wow, she really is, Anne Marie. "Want You" just knocked me for a loop. The melody, lyrics and imagery are just so impressive, and that vocal...oh wow, it's just otherworldly!!! She sounds just a little like Lee Ann Womack, but she's her own singer.

And that song, wow, it just tore my heart out and got me song-hungry, so that's where this one came from. "Want You" is an awesome song. Everything about it impresses me, big-time.

I'm amazed at how many new songs you can come up with so quickly.  You must be a wellspring of creativity.

You know, I always look at music as something that just comes through me. It's not like I go, "Hey, man, look at me! I did this! That's mine!" These songs hit me like lightning. And they have a life of their own. I can't make them happen on command, the songs come out when they're ready to come out of me.

I guess a lot of 'em have just been ready to come out lately or something! hahahaha
