Islam isn't a religion. There's pretty much no prophecy, no liturgy, no sacraments, no freedom, and no festivals in Islam. It's simply a form of totalitarianism that just so happens to be associated with a pagan deity named Allah. It needs to be dealt with as with fascism: large-scale war coupled with lifetime imprisonment (or execution) of its leaders and followers. They're saying "Jihad fi sabil al-Lah" - Jihad for the sake of Allah. They know they're at war with us, why don't we reciprocate?

Your lack of historic knowledge is embarassing. 1. Except for the war in Balkan there has been no major wars at the european continent since world war II, which is quite remarkable considering the many different cultures here and when we've participated in wars outside europe it has surprisingly been with the US as one of the front leaders.
