  • @decoderchick99 - Micheal moore is stooge agent???? BULLSHIT. This is a person who speaks out against idiot rich, greed, sick bastar wankers. People argue he makes lots of money from what he does, yet do you see other fucks doing what he does NOOOOOOOOOOO.

  • Michael Moore is another stooge agent, and most people are to blind and brainwashed to learn the real truth of what's going on here. Is no wonder people are so confused. They are in a trance, and following anyone who speaks out with a megaphone. It continues to boggle my mind, the amt. of people that have been put into total hypnosis. Climate change this you lying stooge!

  • Get rid of welfare, social security, unemployment compensation, Illegal immigration, public schools, collective bargaining for government employees, and government healthcare for a start.

That should reduce our taxes by 20%.

I never heard any of this from the bums of (occupy somebody else's space!)

    These are no revolutionaries.

Especially foreigners commenting on what America and Americans should do.

There's a reason we call you FOREIGN!

  • @dorksayswhat Yeah lets just let everyone die because they can't afford healthcare.

  • @RedZHunter Not everyone will die. I don't know how old you are, but as little as 20 years ago, before insurance became mandatory and Medicare/Medicare were bloated beyond all reason, hospitals had to keep their prices reasonable, or they would literally price themselves out of business.

Guaranteed payment, whether Government-based or insurance-based, divorced medical prices from market pressures. I.e., they could charge whatever the hell they wanted, knowing that it would always get paid!

  • @RedZHunter Actually, I wouldn't mind even all these giveaways, but have you read our national budget for 2012? Foreign Aid dwarfs healthcare, prison, and welfare COMBINED! We could afford more giveaways to our own people if we stopped giving away to other countries.

Moreover, the other countries are so ungrateful! Whatever we give, it's not enough, or not the right FORM of aid, or they bitch that WE dole it out instead of letting the local warlord give it out, or even try to STEAL it! (Haiti)

  • @EPGAH That's because foreign aid is not what it sounds. They are really investments because there are so many conditions attached, some of which the right of corporations to own land, be exempt from the aided country's environmental laws, etc. That's why it is so big and doesn't really help those countries. The money goes to the cronies and thugs they support in those countries' governments.

  • @piax00 You mean we...support friends and punish enemies? I bet we're the FIRST and ONLY country to do that, right? How did we manage to hang onto exclusivity on that and birth-control, when they steal all our other ideas/technologies?

But still, without the TONS of food, money, and meds we send to (Insert country here), that country would erase itself from the genepool, and Good Riddance! Then these moochers turn around and call themselves "Independent"--in what way?

  • @RedZHunter Everyone will die with healthcare or not. All things die. Even universes.

  • the very fact they're "unorganized" means that they won't get anything done. You can't hold the banks hostage with votes, BUT you can hold the politicians hostage with your votes. Take this to Washington!

  • this trashman was a 2million mansion Central Lake,Michigan,he has all of you duped,he is the 1%. check for your self.

  • Most of these people are simply people who have just had it with high unemployment, an endless war, and having to watch the rich get richer while the quality of life for working Americans has steadily eroded since the 60's. They just want an America where a working person can expect a living wage and to be able to afford the basics like food, health care, and a home if they are willing to work.

  • this fat bastard who acks like hes broke, has a 2million dollar mansion In CENTRAL LAKE ,MICHIGAN.

  • @nic190 He doesn't do it on purpose, it's just that decent looking clothes don't fit him, so he's forced to sew together tarps.

  • Literacy is essential for the success of any society. In America 1 in 5 high school graduates cannot read his or her diploma. About 21 million Americans simply cannot read & the costs of illiteracy are estimated to be $225 billion a year in lost productivity. I'm the stupid asshole? Your have a young country and been involved in 10 major wars because your good at it and it relates to the violent culture of America. If people were more educated about the world, there would be no need for guns.

  • @krazymindreader The U.S. has a 89% literacy rate. That's including 20 million illegal immigrants How many Planes, trains and automobile factories do you kangaroo fuckers have? How many space systems did you create? U.S was 18th militarily when Japan bombed Pearl. We got a quick education ABOUT THE WORLD. "IF?" "people were more educated?" Fuck. only 1.8 billion have electricity! The rest have AK47's. and you gave up yours. Talk about having owners and being owned. Your choices. Zero!

  • Comment removed

  • @dorksayswhat U mention the term "kangaroo fuckers"? Wow is that the best you got? U know that's a racist term don't u? U mention I "need a good beating"? We're here to debate this issue but it seems violence and hatred are part of your personality, which only proves my point. I can't be communicating with someone like u. I'm proud to be an Aussie, but I cant wash off my nationality for you just like you cant wash off your presumably ugly face. Don't bother responding.

  • @krazymindreader You don't debate! You repeat the absolute bullshit you heard from others. Yes times change. For some, changing times means UPGRADE. For others it means DOWNGRADE. Which one would fit the "strict conditions" of gun ownership? In the U.K. first it was guns. Next it was pocket knives. After that it was glass beer mugs. All they need to do now is restrict food, water and travel. You have a PRISON! I think your being jacked by the Union Jack. Your fears are betraying you!

  • @krazymindreader As to your screed of education, there are thugs who actually want to stop education, who don't respect anything but force, and I'm not just talking about the Moslem Cult, take Rhodesia. Sparkling, low-crime, high-literacy, breadbasket of Africa, then the savages kick out the Civilized People, and suddenly it becomes another Infomercial Bait.

But yes, Moslems DO kill women&children who commit a horrible crime of LEARNING, which makes them Persona Non Grata in the Civilized World!

  • @krazymindreader Your old Prime Minister told the Moslem Cultists to "Assimilate or Clear Off", IIRC? What is your Government's new stance on letting violent illiterates invade and overrun what your ancestors built up?

  • are you seriously that stupid ? "this movement has no spokesperson" - his all over news saying 'we are working on demands', 'we are trying to push this and that'... he is coopting your movement

  • Michael Moore for President!

  • michael moore - a one percenter who never had donated a dime to charity on record

  • They need to occupy the state universities. State universities are gang stalking targeted students who are not ultra loyal. State universities trick students into taking out loans and into getting degrees that a lot jerk employers refuse to value. Racism and homophobia is rampant at state universities. The university system is a complete lie that must be exposed and rebuked in protest.

  • So true can't wait too see what happens black Friday hahahaaaa fuck Corporate Nazis

  • Winter _is_ coming. The answer is to take over some of the many abandoned buildings.

Re: whether or not MM is among the 1%: Does it matter? Can he not be an ally to the 99% regardless of his tax bracket?

  • Comment removed

  • I don't think he's in the 1%. He's probably in the 19% just under the 1%. They're still rich as hell but not ABSURDLY rich. MM has like... $50 millions, right? That's a thousand times less than Bill Gates. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here. Don't get me wrong, it's a HUGE amount of money, more than I could ever imagine owning. But he'd still need something like 20 times more to be in the 1%. Not 20 million more, 20 t i m e s 50 million more.

  • There is no such thing as middle class anymore. You're either poor or rich. From what I see, the middle class these days are one paycheck away from disaster. That's what's happening around the world.

  • That's how profound the unhappiness is. We don't need an official leader to get out there.

  • That takes place in Oscar Grant "Gangbanger" Plaza.

  • Nashville won't arrest protestors and released 50 protestors without pressing charges.

  • Glad to see this guy standing up for us..."they are all the spokesperson!!!" I've had enough of the big banks, the big corporations, and the big government destroying human lives!! Everyone must die to self and be willing to die for this cause. Read my book, The Dawn of Intelligence on Wildman Walker's blog. It's time for a non-violent reVolution!!! We are the 99%!!!

  • Lol fat shit head hypocrite south park made u look like the fat clown u r last night

  • Yesterday by snow park my car with young children in it was surrounded by filthy people screaming at my crying children, barely got out of there without blood on my bumper. You white trust fund punks and aging hippies need to go home.

  • Hey Michael Moore , would u like to send the US Goverment all your income you get from the Left Wing Nuts, like G. Sores, and SEIU,. lets see over a Million dollars from them last year, mine writing a check for One Million to the Federal Goverment so they can divided up between the OWS.

Oh yes some of you my say Michael Moore is not wroth that much , well if you belive that than you my want to check were you left ur Brains at.

  • @lifeline52002 Huh? talkin'bout 'checks' you need to check your facts. You are sadly brainwashed.

You remind me of a collapsable chair someone left behind at the beach this past summer; lacking support, totally useless and ugly to look at. Time for a change and well overdue; like a complaining republican in diapers. Power to the People!!

  • @WSU85DET

Hey Brainwash, Liberial Democratics, mybe you need wake up, one Michael Moore made movies that gross over a million each, and guess what that is income, and he even made million in income off the movie , plus the books he wrote is income as well. Ask yourself this how it it one cay Michael can be in New York but the next day be in Calif., what he walk or ride a bike. Know he fly, and it take money to fly, enless some one pay his way and their fort that is income as well.

  • @lifeline52002 - No one is begrudging success & money. What people are angry about is being screwed by the rightwing proposal that the rich should benefit at the cost of everybody else. That the majority of Americans should wait until the rich "trickle down" upon us & be grateful if & when they do.

It's too bad you are disingenuous about what is going on today all over the country.

  • @rumpole33

What is realy going on in this country are you, because you only blame all the problem rich RightWing peopel and never Blame it on the Left Wing, Funny in the US Senate the top 10 Senators, that are Rich are all Democratics b so ask then way do they also not take a cut and share some of their wealth. I also know some very fine Republicans and Tea Party people that give to charity, but do not show it on their income tax so their fore they pay tax on the income

  • @rumpole33

in finishing my remark to you, some of my freinds will not take it off their income tax just to lower what they have to pay into the system, as well as myself. But what is funny how the Left Wing, keep saying Tax's are not high enough so tax us more but than take all gthe tax break they can get. Even Michael Moore have been doing this and AGAINE YOU PROTESTER ONLY GO AFTER ONE SIDE AND NOT THE OTHER ONE.

To belive than protest the rich Left Wing as well.

  • @lifeline52002 - Again, a point which u keep ignoring, nobody is begrudging success. & to say we shouldn't tax the rich more (they have the lowest rate in their tax history) or else they might not make donations is like saying don't anger the wife-beater or else he might hit you. Yes, the low/middle inc. class will take as much tax breaks as they can, cuz they need every penny to live upon. But the rich who pay less than 20% in tax rates would 'sacrifice' like the rest of the 99% of us.

  • Whether Michael Moore is a millionaire or not, at least he's speaking out in support of the 99%. Where's the other artists of so called social justice. Where's Springsteen? Where's Bono and U2? Where's Sting, Bob Geldof, Bonnie Raitt? How about Neil Young, Willie Nelson or John Mellencamp? Not to mention Jackson Browne, Bruce Cockburn, Eddie Vedder or Peter Garrett? Or even Bob Dylan and Joan Baez? This isn't some obscure cause needing awareness raising, THIS IS EVERYONE AND EVERYWHERE.

  • Michael Moore for President!!!!

  • This is so much bigger than Michael Moore...Squabbling over his income and what he does with it is akin to squabbling over all the red herring issues tossed about to keep us off balance. Gay marriage, abortion, teaching creationism in our schools are all designed to keep us from focusing on the what really is important...The OWS movement is real and people are beginning to understand we have much more in common than these artificial differences created by the ruling elite.

  • If Libya can topple Ghadafi then we can topple the Wall st elite. Get up off of that thing and get busy. Go Micheal Moore

  • Moore claims on CNN that he's not the 1%, then retracts the statement when he realizes people aren't stupid enough to believe it. So he comes down to Oakland and tells everyone the 1% comprises only 450 people. Does he think we don't know how to use a calculator? 1% of 300 million = 3 million. Obviously that's not an accurate figure, probably there's more. But he claims only 450 for what? He's a liar and a manipulator.

  • @Razorvan Your delusional rant is kinda sad and pathetic. C'mon, pookie, you don't have to be a hater. Try being a decent person for a while. You might like it.

  • California just suffered an earthquake. Micheal Morre too a step.

  • @buisyman Why is it RWNJ's always go for physical insults when they have nothing factual to add to any conversation?

Dang. Just answered my own question..

  • @integral What are RWNJ's? Besides, if MM actually gave some quantitative facts, then we'd have something to discuss. As it is, he's offered nothing worth discussing. You DO realize, of course, what MM net value is, don't you? he definately IS one of the 1%ers

  • Go, Mike! "F" Oakland!

  • The American people are waking up to the fact that a big RED, WHITE & BLUE dick is being jammed up their ass. A revolution is around the corner and people these days are more AWARE of what some of these rich assholes are doing to the country, the same rich assholes that run the government and hide behind politicians, you will never know who they really are, they're cowards. These assholes are also using the media to blind us. They have a fucking agenda, to fuck the American people.

  • @krazymindreader "They have a fucking agenda,"

Well..yeah but it´s more like "staying in charge"?

  • @krazymindreader This is America, not the Middle East, fool. We have our revolutions at the ballot box, just like we did in 2007 and 2009. Any violence from the likes of you will lead to people like me to take you serious, and that's bad for you. Grow up. Violence begets violence, and I'm better at it than you.

  • @buisyman ok mr youtube warrior, you don't know me or how to interpret my comments. If you trust the ballot box so much stop and think that you really only have two choices when voting and they're only an illusion of choice. Obama continued Bush's legacy for prolonging the war, and put America in more debt, the results speak for themselves. Before you make fucked up assumptions about my comments my idea of a revolution isn't about violence, it's about awareness and self education, fool.

  • @krazymindreader Youtube warrior, huh? I'm not the one calling for violence here, bub. If you're not talking about violence, why talk about revolution and not trusting the balot box? "you don't know me or how to interpret my comments" Oh, yeah. I know your kind very well. Obama has spent as much in less than 3 year what it took Bush to spend in 8. Yet kibtards want him to spend more, even though they railed about all the Bush spending. Go cry to someone else, you idiot.

  • @buisyman You see, what you need to understand is that when a liberal does something it is alright because they are a liberal. Haven't you learned that by now?

  • @whyamimrpink78 Only in their little minds it is, not in the real world.

  • @buisyman lol, no bud, you don't know me. But, I know a little something about you and it's that your a conservative that can't read. YOU show me where I call for violence in my comments? You see it anywhere? No, didn't think so. The word revolution doesn't always refer to violence, there are other forms of change. And, yes, ballot boxes cannot be trusted, remember Al Gore/ G.W.Bush polls? Bye.

  • @krazymindreader Point 1) show me anywhere, at any time in history, where a revolution did NOT involve violence. In case you can't read a dictionary, There's a BIG difference between polls and ballot boxes. Remember the Electoral College? It's not the first time in history that a President won the electoral college, but lost the popular vote. Know your history, my friend.

  • @buisyman People Power Revolution 1986 - Phillipines, Orange Revolution 2004 - Ukraine, Peaceful Revolution 1986 - Germany, Bloodless Revolution 1688 - England, Carnation Revolution 1974 - Portugal, Velvet Revolution 1989 Czechoslovakia + many more, all non-violent. There is a world outside of America you know, we all know America used a violent Revolution to establish it's nation. Some Americans I know think the world ends on it's borders. Know your history of the world.

  • @krazymindreader Fat lot you know. I was alive during those times, were you? Go away, boy, you bother me

  • @krazymindreader WTF? We have been in 10 major wars in the last 200 years. Have you ever been to Arlington? Have you ever seen Arlington? You really think Americans don't know about the WORLD? Stupid asshole you need a good beating!

  • @krazymindreader And getting back to your original piece of fiction. "U.S. violent beginning"

Exactly how was Australia established? I am sure your going to claim a peaceful accord founded on knowledge and no weapons. Yea you never slaughtered Aborigines.

    Fucking hypocrite!

  • @dorksayswhat Times change, so laws change. You idiot, it's about fixing history's problems, learning from ur mistakes. You want to live in the past and exercise ur liberties by the free use of ur gun, as ur constitution proclaims, then so be it. Being the brave asshole that you are, you should be forced to face the mother of a gun victim and tell her how guns are a good thing. People should be able to own guns, but it should be under strict conditions. Gun laws are not part of a prison empire.

  • @krazymindreader Forced to face a mother of a gun crime? Not a mother of a CRIME victim? Is it different than facing a mother of a murdered and raped daughter? When the only thing used was a penis and a pair of hands? I think the girl would have rather been shot with a gun.

  • @krazymindreader How do you explain the uptick of violent crime in areas that stop honest people from carrying guns? If a criminal thinks its next victim will be its last, it MIGHT reconsider its actions, OR it might be removed from the genepool, Darwin's Will Be Done.

I'd rather criminals get shot in commission of their misdeeds, than Americans get robbed and raped because we were "not allowed" to shoot our assailants! That would also lower the prison-population. BONUS!

  • @krazymindreader Since you seem to be into numerology, what is your "take" on the 11/11/11 "Crack in Reality"?

That day was arguably one of the weirder I've lived through, but I didn't notice anything special before or after.

For good or ill, the world has returned to "normal".

(Ignoring videogames/movies released on that date)

  • @krazymindreader Cram it Aussi. You've been jamming that Union Jack up your ass for a long long time. You gave up your gun rights and you have the balls to bad mouth America? We will ship you this limy fat ass Mr Moore so you can pack his wagon.

  • @dorksayswhat I'm not bad mouthing America u dingbat. The American government has been infiltrated by the corporate world & they OWN you. America is not what it used to be, its capitalism at it's worst. The OWNERS have monopolised the OIL, MEDIA & WATER industries & you have limited choices, they pay lobbyists & have the high court judges in their back pocket. As for strict gun control, its NOT a bad thing. Soft gun laws might be a good thing for the likes of you, don't get into any accidents.

  • @krazymindreader What is wrong lobbing against a convoluted tax code or overregulation? Where in the fuck do you get LIMITED choices? Do you actually know how many independent oil companies there are in the U.S.? You don't know shit You just repeat everything you hear like a fucken parrot. We saw what strict gun control provided when the riots broke out in the U.K. Helpless fools watching their lives burn down. They couldn't even defend their own liberties. True subjects of the prison empire!

  • Occupy Together<3.

  • The 1% should be kissing this man's feet, since he still gives the 99% hope that there can be a positive change, without another Bastille Day. Without this hope we will have to drag the rich from their homes, and take what has been stolen from us.

  • @MrGwc72 "without another Bastille Day."

    Let´s hope so realy.

Yet "Marie" Ann Coultoinett´s spreading nonesense as usual..

  • guy next to him in the button up shirt is a highly trained assassin, always roll with portection in oakland

  • occupy my huevos huevones

  • Why does anyone listen to this fat turd? Doesn't anyone realize he's making money on this whole movement???

  • @pmurphy5657 you're a dumbass if you think he actually cares about money, nor does it mattery because you're just wrong he's not making money off this and if he was he'd donate it to a charitable cause you oppose because you're a selfish fuck

  • could those hurt sue for police brutality?if they did win would they be expected to trickle down?if everyone got hurt and sued the city there for pain and suffering then it would extort money back out of the system and put it back into the peoples hands.but why should it even have to come to that?stir shit up??!!yeah we need it stirred up from peaceful protest like this to get the message across we the people are tired of business as usual.

  • *** LuV MOORE ***

...Thank U Occupy Anchorage Alaska 4 UR winter xpertise

    ...Hung Tough West Coast Oakland

    * UNiTED WE STAND *

  • Occupying Oakland doesn't even work for the cops, how will it work for a bunch of unarmed protesters? Will there be another shootout with a pedophile cop-killer?

  • here in Finland we have a saying: Ahneella on paskanen loppu, in english: Greed´s end is a dirty end, or something along those lines, good to see that the greedy in america who exploit the 99% are finally going to be held accountable for what they have done! keep up the good work!

  • @TheHelo10 I'd say "shitty end", but yeah, I agree. ;)

  • i had a dream last night 95% of americans stopped paying their home martgage's/credit cards/insurance/ school loans/car loans/medical payments.

It brought the bank's and all of wallstreet to it's greedy knee's.

people by the millions told the greedy1% who sold us out to cheap imported goods while breaking down our unions then unfairly raising interest rates on the poorest with the threat of damageing one's FICO score.

Millions said they have had enough! GAME OVER!...F ur FICO

  • @kralljazz I Love Your Thinking!

  • ISRAEL DID 911

    ISRAEL DID 911

    ISRAEL DID 911

  • Michael Moore is the MAN!

  • Are there ways to stop funding the police departments? Or maybe just cut their funds in half.

  • Guys, give MM a break, he's already dedicated most of his life to exposing the shady business of the rich and the powerful and trying to keep the moral up, trying to WAKE people up. I don't care if he's a populist and sometimes gets the facts wrong, at least he's DOING something, in the way that's best for him. We don't have a lot of people like him on the left. Franckly, we need more Moores.

  • @Tuuliska Isn't it kinda hilariously ironic that we're taking advice on the "ills" of being rich and/or overconsuming from a guy whose anti-Government antics have MADE him rich, and either overconsumes, or else has a thyroid condition that he'd need help from the very pharmaceutical complex he vilifies?

Also, why do you excuse him getting the facts wrong for dramatic effect, when other mouthpieces like Alex Jones or OReilly are crucified for the same?

  • @EPGAH 1) Yeah, it is kind of ironic that he became rich like that. But I seriously doubt it was his plan: if he just wanted money, there are a million better ways for a filmmaker to get it. 2) He's not against health care. Just the current system. No irony there. 3) I don't outright excuse him. His mistakes should be corrected and he should admit it when he's made them. What I say is: on the whole, I don't care. The opposite side obviously makes them too, like you pointed out.

  • @Tuuliska Well said and DITTO.

  • There are people occupying in ALASKA aren't there? In Canada there definitely are and here in Finland. Just ask us northern folks for advice, you can make it through the winter!

  • He's a great speaker, no doubt about it. But, I think these words would be solidified more by making donations to the cause.

  • when i read abut political lobbying in any country i just think its no better than dictatorship, i love to know how much the weath corportations and oil companys are cosy with governemnts, Transparency Interenationl SHOULF EXAMINE DEVELOPED COINTRIES.,..

  • Why are there so many Michael Moore supporters? One of the main themes of OWS is to end the fed. Michael Moore would never do that because he has so much of the fed's money. I believe he is there to try and convince people this is about politics, and make a shitload off his new OWS documentary to boot.

Michael gets it, he's there to help derail the OWS train.

  • @Razorvan That's not the agenda of the OWS, it's the agenda of Ron Paul the libertarian, AKA "Dr. No" (as in, nothing for anyone who isn't rich), and lover of the psychopath Ayn Rand. The OWS agenda is to end of the worship of money and the soulless society of greed, selfishness and militarism it engenders.

  • @roell29 The agenda of the OWS is to set up a new system. Not work within the old one. The fed is privately owned. Banks should never be privately owned. That is how the whole mess started in 1913. America is run by corporations and political policies are bought. Once the fed ends, so do the 1%.

  • @Razorvan Banks shouldn't be privately own? So what do you suggest, the federal government owns the banks? It is the increase in federal government that is hurting us. And I love private banks. My bank gives me money for having a checking account with them and pays for half of my ATM fees. My bank was smart and they make money. If you don't like your bank then go to another one. That is capitalism at work.

  • @whyamimrpink78 Free your mind. Never heard of a public owned banking system? How do you think the country used to operate before the federal reserve? You "love" banks because they "give" you money? How much do you pay for your house, or your rent (because someone else owes them the mortgage on the apt bldg)? Have you heard of compounded interest? You will pay 2 to 3 or more times the cost of a house. That's how a bank likes to "give" you money. Please don't try and tell me they work for it.

  • @Razorvan Damn those bankers who risk their money trying to make more money. After they make more money they create more jobs. My bank is hiring new people and expanding. They will stay local but they are spending money to buy old buildings downtown and build new ones to expand. They are helping the community and creating jobs. That is how the flow of money works. I pay rent to have a place to live, same with buy a house. Do you expect to be given everything?

  • @whyamimrpink78 I used to have similar opinions in that, I didn't understand the ponzi scheme of the fed and banks etc. Do yourself a favor, search and watch the google video called "Money as Debt". It will help you understand the truth about the fed and interest etc.

  • @whyamimrpink78 In my opinion, public banks, alongside or not with private ones, make perfect sense. The public SHOULD have control over the economy. Right now, economically the country, all countries in fact (except like Cuba and N-Korea) are run like corporations: they have to borrow money from the private banks just like everybody else. The problem here is: if the country goes bankrupt, it's a national crisis. The country can't afford to fall.

  • The state, or the federation, should be the most reliable institution, the last one to fail. This isn't about communism, it's about the good of the people. The state MUST always be able to afford to keep up the defense, the police and other crucial public services like that. For that it needs to be stable, it can't be in massive debt all the time.

The public bank wouldn't have to be controlled by the government either; it could run independently but the profits would be used for the public.

  • @whyamimrpink78 I'm definitely not the best person to explain all this, so look up "Economic Democracy".

The point is, money is power. In a democracy, that power should be controlled by the people. Thus, the democratic state needs to have a say in the economic system.

  • @whyamimrpink78 Actually, here, watch this: watch?v=2F-DMmKKfPY

  • How about sending me some of your 50 million Micheal Moore? You're one of the have and I'm one of the have not. Share your wealth. I need a new car and this house that you even wouldn't take a step in since it's nothing like your mansion, needs some work as well. Thanks in advance for not sharing your wealth.

  • Comment removed

  • @PluggerDave Want kind of moron are you? His entire life's work is dedicated to helping the have-nots. What are you doing? For every thousand millionaires who care only for their own pleasure, there is one Michael Moore who remembers where he came from - who tries to help the 99% who aren't rich, yet still work hard and deserve the decent lives they used to have before the rich decided to take everything for themselves, and you spend your time nipping at his heels like some jackal from hell.

  • @roell29 Again, I don't see any money leaving his wallet or bank. Does he have homeless people living in his big house? Don't think so. how is running his mouth helping people who are down and out and disgusted? This protest is a failure because they can't even agree on what to disagree on. Has it helped in Europe where it has been going on longer than here. No. Just sitting asking for a handout and free food.

  • @roell29 Why isn't he paying off the mortgages of every idiot who decided to live beyond their means?

Or buying a car for everyone who doesn't have one? Or buy a Hybrid for all those who decided to buy one they could afford instead?

He's just playing on peoples' emotions to fatten his own account (Or his body?), like a white version of Jesse Jackson. What has he actually DONE, except make factually inaccurate movies and tons of money FOR HIMSELF--while saying how EVIL greed/money are?

  • @EPGAH So anyone that purports to care about something other than themselves must deliver every dime they have to that cause and live in dire poverty for you to consider them legitimate? If he gave away all his money, he wouldn't be able to make the movies that have inspired and energized the movement to which he has dedicated his life - duh. That's like saying to a member of a relay race team, if you care so much about winning, why don't you cut off your leg and feed it to the lead runner?

  • @roell29 He's using those movies as a tax dodge, PLUS, he's living as a millionaire. I repeat: He complains about millionaires getting tax-breaks, then he should gladly take the taxes on the chin.

Again, he should pay off the loans people took when they couldn't afford them!

The profits from the gullible watching his movies are fattening HIM, not being "redistributed" among the people he claims to be part of. He's one of "them", the rich you so hate, not the American public!

  • @roell29 PS, he lives in a MANSION where my whole house could fit in the entryway, so in what way could he possibly empathize with people who have to WORK for a living, let alone people who had their jobs yanked from under them?

I've also never heard him denounce the waves of illegals sneaking into America and "changing" it.

If he gives up his mansion, or converts it into a B&B for the foreclosed and dispossessed, THEN I'll believe he wants to HELP, rather than PROFITEER!

  • @EPGAH As for the credit crash, I quote from the article, Blaming the Victim: Credit and Trickle Down - "Of all the hypocrisy we’ve seen in the last eight years, the toads on Wall Street stand at the top. They sold ridiculous securities to their credulous peers. They only made money by selling, and they needed products to sell, so they encouraged the incompetent mortgage companies and the hucksters and the cheats. They bought legislators and regulators and an entire administration, and got...

  • ..rid of the entire regulatory structure. They managd to buy enough influence to get the bankruptcy amendments of 2005. They got the government to cut their taxes, leading to massive deficits. When their rickety structure began to fail, they rantd about moral hazard for individual borrowers, but they still had enough influence to step into the legislature with the threat of the neutron bomb of financial disaster, and panic our legislature into suckng money from the middle class to bail them out"

  • @roell29 The collapse was planned, and they told O-bum and the other gullible legislators, "You bail us out, we'll create jobs and bail YOU out, otherwise, America will collapse! 1929!"

They DID create jobs--but in other countries. Geithner is the ex-head of the Federal Reserve, which is why TRILLIONS were signed away without so much as a receipt!

HOWEVER, Clinton set the ball rolling, by taking the CRA from an obscure law unknown, let alone unenforced, into a legal bludgeon, forcing

  • @roell29 Banks to loan to people with a history of welshing on their debts, or else be investigated for "discrimination". Discrimination is one of those nebulous charges like "Sexual Herassment", once someone ACCUSES you of it, you can prove yourself NOT GUILTY, but you can't prove yourself innocent. Plus, of course, NAACP and ACLU and SPLC got into the act, eager to leverage "discrimination".

Were banks "Only Following Orders"? Did they ORDER Clinton to "Make" them, setting it up for later?

  • @roell29 However, my accusation stands: Moore has made MILLIONS off movies that quasi-"expose" this, that, and the other thing, but how much of that money has fattened his wallet (And HIM), and how much of it gets redistributed to the "victims", whether by him, or by O-bum and his Merry Men, robbing from the Middle Class to give to anyone who calls themselves a "victim", even if they're only a "victim" of their own stupidity?

Has he opened his mansion to the homeless he "sided with"?

  • @roell29 As to your racing analogy, no, it's more like a fat load on the sidelines lecturing the runners about proper diet, exercise, or giving them "advice" on how to win the race, when he's not even in it. Or, in my case, civilians lecturing the military on how we "should" be fighting!

If all the people who took loans they couldn't afford died tomorrow, the only way it would affect Moore is that they wouldn't pay to see his movies anymore!

  • @PluggerDave I thought he earned his money. It's not public money,

  • @CaptainSvy This, exactly. People keep saying that OWS is against the rich but I honestly don't think it is. It's against the rich who got their money by rigging the game. Michael Moore just made really popular movies that a lot of people watched.

  • @Tuuliska yes, I think that one thing is to live in a society that allows you to reach your targets and go on and get more and better if you are good in what you do: simply realizing your dreams. Another thing is this shit (excuse the word, but is the correct one) where 1% lives on the shoulder of 99% because Washington and Wall Street, hand on hand like authentic criminals, created a medieval system of injustice. Michael Moore' private life have nothing to do with problems of the people.

  • @CaptainSvy He chooses to be a "crusader" AGAINST over-consumption and the rich getting tax-loopholes.

Ignoring that he obviously over-consumes, he CHOSE to take a tax-loophole, instead of taking his taxes on the chin. If you don't pay your fair share, how can you be taken seriously when you bitch that someone else is taking advantage of business loopholes?

Or is it OK when HE takes advantage of the "medieval system of injustice"? Who granted him Special Dispensation?

  • @EPGAH So if he gives his money to the poor people the problem is over? What about a law that says that all the richs have to pay more taxes? and a law that says that if the banks fail the people won't pay for that? I don't have anything against Moore being rich, because I bought his book and I saw his movies. I paid to see them. I have something against those who are rich just because, and those who are poor just because. Its injustice! Even Warren Buffet said, make me pay more taxes.

  • @CaptainSvy You have no problem with Michael Moore being rich or even dodging taxes, because you literally bought his hypocrisy?

Guess what? People richer/smarter than him can hide their money in lots more loopholes.

More relevantly, though, people are rich because someone bought THEIR shit too!

I would like to see the Stock Market abolished, THAT is the one point where you can get money without earning, but the odds of that are worse than Mexico ceasing the flow of thugs&drugs into America!

  • @EPGAH Look I'm free to buy what I want, and he's free to say what he wants. I have no problem on this. I have problem if he fails, and you have to pay more taxes to save him, because you have nothing to do with him. And then, I really don't get this discussion. If Warren Buffet say rich people have to pay more taxes, I agree with him. If Michael Moore says US have to invade Siria I disagree. The point ,here, is not how much they earn. So MM is right only when is poor? If he's rich he's wrong?

  • @CaptainSvy You misinterpret where my indignation lies. MM SAYS he is against tax loopholes. So don't use them! Once he starts doing what he SAYS he's against, it makes him a liar in my book. The fact he's rich is just a bonus, as he all but says being rich makes people evil.

I'm against bailouts too, but that's already happened. O-Bum's the Bailout/Handout President.

If Buffet WANTED, he could send more money to the Government--he HASN'T!

Your ACTIONS, not your words, should define you.

  • @EPGAH If Buffet sends money to the Government , or MM sends money to the people, but all the system doesn't change, you know what happens? That tomorrow the same problem will be there again: 99% and 1%. Simply change the system and you'll see everything will work.

  • @CaptainSvy Change the system? TO WHAT?

Communism has caused starvation on mind-boggling Levels. Saying "It Didn't Work", puts it ridiculously mildly.

Also, the fact that a self-proclaimed "outsider" like Michael Moore CAN get rich&famous proves that "The System" DOES work as-is! Does he want to tear down the system so noone else can get rich&famous with it? Or does he want free healthcare because he has one or more "Negative Health Factors"?

  • @EPGAH it's not just "change the system". it's not about capitalism vs comunism. it's all about justice and reason

  • cool video

  • Michael Moore is one of the proverbial '1%'. And despite what he says, he has taken steps to avoid paying less taxes. However, I also acknowledge, from first hand experience, that this movement is not about raising taxes, it's primary goal appears to be to end government corruption, something I support 100%.

  • Michael Moore should be president!

  • Why wub woo, michael moore.

  • I wish the occupiers goodluck down there !

    Greetings From Amsterdam

  • I know where Grass Valley is!!

  • I like the guy next to him just nodding his head in agreement. : )

  • Michael we love you; stay healthy and vibrant; (Would someone tell Mike; it's not the "red meat" its the carbs.....

  • Michael Moore is a moral inspiration.

  • I generally agree, but I feel like the terrorist line might have been a bit much.

2.This plan involves the deliberate & systematic destruction of the essential foundations of the life of targeted groups, with the aim of exterminating the groups over time, by assaulting, dehumanizing & killing its members, annihilating their political & social institutions, families, culture & worldview, security & liberty, health & dignity, economic livelihood & land ownership, & creating conditions which will cause their destruction.

  • @DeadIslandTrailers STFU bitch.

  • OWS aren't gonna make the Winter, living rough in cold, rain & snow will put most of them in hospital if they stay there without decent tents & heating

    Game over for that effort
