We will also have doctors graduating from community colleges, because there won't be any money in the profession. I know, it is expensive but Obama's solution is NOT the answer.

Unfortunately, the government screws up everything one way or another. Look at social security, medicare/medicaid, welfare or the VA. Can you imagine what sort of mess our healthcare will be when it goes "universal" ? We will no longer have the R&D that enables us to have some of the most advanced care in the world. We will also have doctors graduating from community colleges, because there won't be any money in the profession. I know, it is expensive but Obama's solution is NOT the answer.

I think overweight people shouldn't be insured. If you look how much money is spent on FAT people and the diseases the get in comparison to healthy people, its crazy. We should make them get healthy. I'm not a loser trying to get a free pass or hand out - I work, pay taxes, have insurance through my company - typical middle class. I have seen health care injustices TOO many times. It explains that nothing in the subtitle that lays out the health insurance coverage plan will apply to anyone illegally in the country.

I don't really care about recouping money because I'm humane. A person's life is worth more than any dollar. Either way, that's how it's been for a while. A hospital isn't responsible for admitting someone & giving the full range of enzyme tests to detect an event (for example) but if you're in cardiac arrest, they're get your heart started. Don't get me wrong. Some of their ideas about fiscal frugality are good philosophically. I'm not in total disagreement with "small gov't" either. But in practice, the GOP is all wrong. In addition, the "free market" doesn't regulate itself properly; ie, economic "Darwinism" isn't a realistic model.
All that said, the DNC ain't all peaches either. Either way though, the political discussion in America needs opposing views or we WILL have totalitarianism. Nobody wants that.

*PLAIN AND SIMPLE* Bush was making sure more health care was giving and not taken away from "THE RICH" and didnt care for the ones who wasnt recieving...Obama is expanding the health care to all the less unfortunate. Where the hell were all you "anti-government-spending" people when Bush was in office throwing away billions and billions of dollars on a fake war and legislation to make his rich friends richer? Need I remind you that Bush was in office when the economy went south? Bush's fake war was one of the main reasons the deficit is as high as it is. Judging by your vocabulary, I'm guessing that math is not really your strong suite. Obama has not even come close to outspending Bush. And the whole reason we're in this mess is because of Bush and his policies, so it is definitely relevant to bring him up. Believe me, I'd love to forget that moron, but we're stuck with his policies and left to clean up his mess (in many ways, not just financial).

is that after dumping 24 trillion + dollars into the dead monetary system, eliminates the country's financial ability to care for its people as our creditors (China, Japan) those that buy our debt are watching and bulking at the deficit.
