Aero - Ask any linguist and they will tell you that just under half of the Persian language has words derived from Arabic. From ordinary words such as 'Salam' 'Khodahafez' 'Ketab' and 'Kalame'. Even the words' Farsi' is an Arabic corruption of the word Parsi because the Arabs did not traditionally pronounce 'P'. The facts that most Iranian males are called Ali instead of Cyrus is a sad reflection that we have lost our identity.
