I came across this great man many times since the 1980s but had not seen him since 2000. He had one of the most pitch perfect voices I've ever heard and always drew a big crowd. He was also extremely gracious and loved taking music. I kind of wonder how he would have done on a show like X Factor with that unparalleled instrument of his. I am blessed to have met Mr. Ridley and am very sad to hear that he is gone.
