@romanopaso The real reason, beauty pageants are nothing more than marketing tools for fashion industries, and are heavily sponsored by them. Many people who work in the fashion industries are themselves LGBT. And being that many vehement LGBT, like Hilton, didn't like her answer no matter the fact she was the one being coerced, they simply told the pageant officials, either she goes, or no more sponsorship from us. They won't tell you that outright, but I can prove it.

@shmuli9 Remeber it is not about gay rights is all about children rights. And there is stil a big discussion between doctors, psychologist and scientifics about adoption by gay couples, the issue is still not clear. So until there is consensus i prefer say no to adoption by gay couples.

Plus, using the same logic then the issue of single parents would fall into that same camp, and I don't think children raised by a single parent are more prone to have problems, though kids in ANY kind of day care from a very young age usually DO act up...

Homosexuality is an innate trait. It's a sickness of the mind. It's an abnormal desire to be something other than how than God, or nature, created one to be! I personally do not hate them. But, what they do is wrong. It's not natural. I know it occurs in animals, but animals frequently indulge in cannibalism too! It's a sickness and shouldn't be viewed as normal; your turn to come back with something dumb!

There are more things to consider than just if a person is Christian or Jewish anymore.That is just one of the things that go into consideration and using religion here will not stand in the constitution.

Homosexuality is only really accepted partially in the West (Europe, America, etc). It was ORIGINIALLY started as a way of settling family and possessional disputes which later got incorperated into the religious doctrine and is now not just a unification of 2 people of the same faith, but a matter love. @SuperKarend to compromise beliefs you have to uphold them first.
She claimed her comments stemmed from her being Christian, yet she doesn't even TRY to hold herself up to Christ-like standards.
I honestly have more respect for fundamentalist-Christians (the ones that get in your FACE about what Jesus said is right and wrong) than I do for people who just use Christianity as an appeal to authority to attempt to back opinions they have but are incapable of logically defending.

here we are again spending time talking about some blonde bimbo and her impromptu answer to a politically charged question in front of a national audience. When the real issues are not whether homosexuals should be allowed to destroy something so many Americans hold sacred. It is about who is running this nation and destroying its greatness and wealth. It's about what they are allowing and even forcing into our food to make us more compliant and accepting. It's about the roots of freedom.

The things that have been going into our food for years have the effect of dumbing or dulling certain senses and emotions. The additives are slowly killing us or making us all sick. What exactly did Carrie want? Did she feel that the crown was hers just for being a bigoted whore? Why did she not go home and forget about it, instead of going on right wing talk show tours? 100% of her support comes from religious zealots, while a growing majority of Americans finds her disgusting, hateful and in no way deserving of a Miss USA crown.
Why don't you Jesus Freaks make up your own pageant and make Carrie your honorary queen? Nobody cares about her, only she, herself and YOU!
