Most golfers have difficulty swinging the driver because of ball location too far forward in their stance. Reason being that they can't turn their shoulders enough because they will lose the sight of the ball with their nose ridge blocking the view. Don't stiffen the neck in order to keep your hear straight let everything be lose and relax the shoulders and yes u can turn your head with the shoulders on plane. Try this and you'll see how easier it is to hit that driver
The thing is folks the vids you see here or on tv and the stuff in magazines are all absolute rubbish. they are just quick fixes. I have never heard anyone talk about the most important thing in the golf swing educated hands.or the fact there is one ball position for every shot under the pivot of the lever ie. your left armpit. or that the club should be vertical to the ground till hip height in the backswing and followthrough .
i disagree with his driver technique. You don't want an up-swing or a down swing you want almost level plain with a driver t-shot. I think you will get much more control this way. Like most things with golf it's about learning what works for you and repeating that over and over.
And my ball speed is only 140 mph at 110 mile club head speed. I've seen someone swinging at 100mph clubhead speed right before me and he consistently got 150mph ball speed. how do I get rid of this crazy spin with my driver? I was using 9.5degree loft with stiff flex shaft. thank you.
I have 108-110 swing speed, but I consistently impart too much spin on my driver. 6000-8000rpm. my ball flight is ballooning. I tried everything and can't seem to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, according to the launch monitor, I have a descending blow on the ball, but I even tried teeing forward and what I think is hitting up, but monitor still tells me I'm hitting down on it.
Tee the ball up higher. You should hit the ball on the upper side of the sweetspot. It reduces spin, therefore gains length, even if the flightpath is higher.

Using the iron is easier to use than the driver.

either go to a more lofted driver, or tee the ball up higher, so you make conact on the upper part of the face, resulting in less spin
