I started bawling watching this. All my pets have been rescues. It's my favourite breed. No animal deserves to be abandonned, forgotten, or killed. Save a life & give a shelter animal a loving forever home they deserve.
I got my dobermen Roxy from a shelter. She was found INSIDE a dumpster when she was abandomed as a pup. Now she's living a happy life with my other dog Chevy the lab/pitbull. Even tho Roxy is crossed eyed (left eye) She's still my outside devil inside angel ♥
im a proud owner of a labrador, i adopted him 9 months ago when he was a 1 month puppy, now i have the most loyal living thing in my life, he is my best friend! we always go for a run on sundays and well i think he is living a happy life,

And even then why would you want to breed dogs when there are so many sitting on death row in shelters that a decent owner could go and get instead? I have cats and all are spayed and nuetered. If I had to take them to an animal shelter it would be a no kill shelter. I would also tell them if you cannot find a home please call me and I will take them back.

Seeing things like this make me tear up. My family has always gotten purebred dogs from breeders, and last year I was able to get my own dog. I went to the local animal shelter and took home Nero, who had been sitting there for over a month waiting for the right person. He is the most loyal, loving dog I've ever met. Please get a dog from a shelter. They will never forget that you saved them.
I got my lovely doggy from a shelter 15 years ago. She stayed with me since then and now, I miss her so much, she passed away last year and I still think of her and tear up sometimes. Thats why people buy dogs from shelters because there cared for And when im giving a dog away i always give it to caps because i dont want it put to sleep.But ive adopted 3 dogs a 1 cat fromthe pound a few months ago. :(
My beautiful Boy Dog Scooby had to be put to sleep on 19th Sept 2011 when they found a tumour on his spine. When i became a vet, i thought of the happy side, but when my boss told me i had to put down a 4 week old puppy with heart worm and kidney stones.. i quit that day, and i took the pup with me, she wasnt able to get fixed until she turn 1, unfortunately my fiances dog, Bacon, impregnated her:/ but she gave birth to 3 pups who we kept and we all live a happy life with them, she went from having a 10% chance of life, to living as a spoiled rotten, and a 100% life loving Lab:)

If I were a dog I would prefer to be running the streets atleast there I would be free in my last days getting to see the sun and stars and trees the lucky ones are the ones who die in the out side the dogs who get gased or a shot die die in a dark cold 4 walled room on a cold steal table

Have to make children and adults more aware of the consequences of reckless irresponsible breeding of animals, dog fighting and other animal abuse and irresponsible owners of pets. Helping is action, action is more than just a thumps up. If you have pets love them, feed them, give them your assurance that they will live comfortable and that they can be free should they choose to do so.
If I ever won the lottery, I would be bankrupt within 3 years.. I would have hundreds and hundred of dogs, puppies, kittens, and cats living with me.. I would go to all the high kill shelters and take the precious critters out and give them a home with love so they could all be loved and not have to die.

Im not trying to stick up for "Animal overpopulation" but euthanasia via gas chamber can be much easier and less painful for the animal. Death by carbon monoxide actual renders the animal in a sleep like level of unselfconsciousness before it dies. Being much cheaper than chemical euthanasia and also not cruel.

One day this will have to be answered for. Just the fact that we have these death camps clearly shows a society that is not living right and a people who has forgotten who they are. Mankind has forgotten who he is, not live naturally. Someone has to answer to God for this being done to HIS ANIMALS. I couldn't get through this video. I have always had as many as 5 house dogs which yes was a handful but we loved them all. What makes me happy is giving them love, food, and vet care until they get old and then I feel like I am playing god when I know it is best to have them put to sleep. It's never easy. We have 2 rescue dogs, and 2 rescue cats now. We have given up vacations for the past 15 years so our pets can be with us. God bless them all.

Seeing things like this make me tear up. My family has always gotten purebred dogs from breeders, and last year I was able to get my own dog. I went to the local animal shelter and took home Nero, who had been sitting there for over a month waiting for the right person. He is the most loyal, loving dog I've ever met. Please get a dog from a shelter. They will never forget that you saved them.

When i became a vet, i thought of the happy side, but when my boss told me i had to put down a 4 week old puppy with heart worm and kidney stones.. i quit that day, and i took the pup with me, she wasnt able to get fixed until she turn 1, unfortunately my fiances dog, Bacon, impregnated her:/ but she gave birth to 3 pups who we kept and we all live a happy life with them, she went from having a 10% chance of life, to living as a spoiled rotten, and a 100% life loving Lab:)

Im not trying to stick up for "Animal overpopulation" but euthanasia via gas chamber can be much easier and less painful for the animal. Death by carbon monoxide actual renders the animal in a sleep like level of unselfconsciousness before it dies. Being much cheaper than chemical euthanasia and also not cruel.

i hate seein lik dat it hurt me alot..i went to dog home ti get new dog..unbelieve i was in shoked i saw dog has no four leg..lady told me that china man who chop them off and eatin..dog is alive..so i thought i shud take him or not ..he look so sad and they gonna put him sleep coz he cant walk all they have to is carry n feedin him thing like that...so i bought him my home already..he look happy dog now with me his name leo..my family adore him too :)

One day this will have to be answered for. Just the fact that we have these death camps clearly shows a society that is not living right and a people who has forgotten who they are. Mankind has forgotten who he is, not live naturally. Someone has to answer to God for this being done to HIS ANIMALS. And someone has to answer for not looking, not caring, and not doing anything or worse, being one that actually abandones his/her own pet in a pound. This is proof mankind has not evolved.

But yes, you're right every human on the earth should share this blame, and one day will have to answer for it because we were put in charge of the animals to CARE for them, not to kill them because we live lives that are contrary to nature.

The parents who produce them are like slaves, stuck in a tiny cage to breed and breed, in filthy conditions. And when their use is done, they are killed. In some states, they are just shot in the head. ANYONE WHO BUYS A PUPPY OR KITTEN FROM A PET SHOP IS SUPPORTING THE ABUSE OF THE ANIMALS WHO PRODUCED THEM.

I couldn't get through this video. I have always had as many as 5 house dogs which yes was a handful but we loved them all. What makes me happy is giving them love, food, and vet care until they get old and then I feel like I am playing god when I know it is best to have them put to sleep. It's never easy. We have 2 rescue dogs, and 2 rescue cats now. We have given up vacations for the past 15 years so our pets can be with us. God bless them all.

The fact that gas chambers are still legal in the United States is beyond disgraceful. Every single person who surrenders their animal to a shelter should be forced to watch a live euthanasia. Human beings are the devil. We have come so far, yet we are still so behind. Needle "killings" are bad enough but if you have never witnessed the panic of the gas chamber, consider yourself lucky. North Carolina is one of the biggest offenders. We, as a species, have damned ourselves.

Aww I love both my dog and cat we have only given two animals away but not to a shelter,to family that we see everyday.My striped cats name is Zeus(inside animal).And my light brown and black Pug (outside animal but it has a dog house) is named Cookie and they are some of my best friends theyre awsome.Im very against animal abuse and even my cat came from our nice neighbors next door who we talk to alot.When we got it it was not starved or anything.No worms,nothing and it was a baby.Its big now

@buchitoful That's good you love your dog and treat him well. When he dies you will grieve for awhile, and hopefully you'll get another dog from a shelter who you will also love. Death is a part of life, and none of us human or animal will be on earth forever. Just make sure you ask Jesus into your heart, and repent of your sins. If you do this you will surely see your dog again in heaven. God has a place for His animals, and the lion will lay down with the lamb.
