All you should have to do is show the police ID that you live in that house politely and that should the end of the story.
The problem is that some officers are so fucking dense that they feel the need to anal probe you because they were called out and they need to know the entirety of the situation before they go away. And in their adrenaline junkie mind they are prepared to blow a "perp" away for any reason whatsoever.
This site is so apologetic and pathetic, why don't they bring on a couple of realists? A percentage of the "disenfranchised' welfare wallowers allow Acorn to speak for them, the largest conmen on the job today. Complain they get no oppurtunity, when the trees of oppurtunity have been ripe with fruit for 50 years, but the trees do not pick themselves, you have to go pull the fruit yourself. Government has convinced them the gov. will pick and deliver. All you have to do is vote for us
Its like watching two guys finally learn that Obama = More Socialist Bush from the bailouts for Wall Street to the increase in War Funding to the increase in central power with FISA to the UnPatriot act All the time while using every collective label they can think of to describe the situation The Poor The African Americans the "others" The Black Vote Blue dogs the Unions the Progressives They look dumbfounded that government sucks & offers false hope REALLY? Wake up Less government 24/7
Man I hate collective labels used by the Meida and the Government -- Pick up on it when hear guys... its right in front of you. The ones these guys are using. "the Black Vote" "the Poor vote" the anything I can Label in a group vote!
ALL Collective BS -- Recognize it!
ALL people Are unique!
Quit giving collective labels Real news!!! Every Person is unique and thinks differently with their Own Mind.
Collectivism is the most evil thing around! Loved by the all totalitarians
bravehartmman- why is that? he was standing up for civil liberties. he should have been even more outspoken and 'unprofessional' but he's too pragmatic for his own good. he should have ran with it, because it's one of the biggest problems facing america. put the 'law' in it's place!. judging by your profile, someone like yourself should be the last to have a problem with what he said.
I read it, i get your jist. It seems silly to criticize professionality because of a potential bias on his part because of who it was. The point is, his comment was just. Could he have worded it differently for a potentially better outcome. Yes. It was a golden oppurtunity to criticize the obtuse role police have come to play in modern day america, where ordinary citizenry should fear criminalization over completely legal or at best ambiguosly petty behaviour.'
And why would he (criticise the obtuse role police have come to play in modern day America,) when he fully endorses it ! he is after all planning of bringing in indefinite incarceration in your country is he not ?
Now your talking about a lot more complicated issues, I was merely commenting on what he said in regards to the situation. You nor I can read his heart anyway. If you're gonna go down that road, I don't put any faith in him or any other politician. Man is bent on self annihilation. It is in our nature.
At the end of the day i do feel he only did this because 1; he knew the guy 2 ; because he was a professor ! nothing more and He then brought race in to it when it had nothing to do with it ! i couldn't see him getting involved in a case involving say a Mexican gardener or a black taxi driver he once knew !
The fixation on 'Obama' makes my teeth ache. The president decides the name of the White House dog, everything else is decided by the big boys. Obama is a fata morgana, just like al-Qaeda.
Glen Ford's discourse is so full of common places and shallow...

Glen Ford is saying that I myself have been saying for a long time: namely that if you want change, you must fight for it.
