  • song?

by tool or maynard james keenan right?

  • Great technique and a great music choice!

I believe that Maynard actually knows this uchi mata as a purple belt in bjj.

  • at 2:08 is that nickolas gill? it kind of looks like him lol

  • 1:49 BRASIL <3

  • ho the fuck missed the button?

  • THE FIRST THROW IS ILLEGAL! Read the rules, your not allowed to "grapevine" or entangle your foot around an opponent during a throw!

  • @SlugDropsonheads good eye

  • Kosei Inoue is the king of uchimata :D his are perfect! :)

  • In this internal storm and outward tide

We hear a promise, hard to understand:

From the compulsion that all creatures binds,

Who overcomes them self,in judo finds there freedom .

Our greatest glory consists not in never failing, but in rising every time we fall. Judo: the art of self-perfection.

  • 0:08 oww she fell on head i think

    ippon! one point!

0:19 buddy is luck he held back and chose not to land directly on top of him...that would've hurt.

0:23 BEST!! THAT'S HOW ITS DONE!! LANDING HIM ALL THE WAY HEAD FIRST THEN LAND ON TOP OF HIM!! Sweeettt

3:43 WTF thats insane being able to balance on your head!! then fall! damn thats pretty dangerous but he made it work

  • hai uhno k esta repe

  • intolerance!

  • Judo is from Japan.

many martial arts are from Japan as well.

(Kendo, Judo, Karate, Aikido, Jujutsu, etc.)

  • it came from japan as a form for villinges to defeat rouge samuri who plunderd their villages :P most martial arts came from china yes

  • no, judo was started after the samurai were already abolished. You are thinking of jiu-jitsu (which judo came from)

  • oh rly judo teacher was wrong then

  • wow you sure know what you are talking about! The Samurai were outlawed in 1873. Judo was founded by Jigaro Kano in 1882. Like I always say, a simple look at Wikipedia or other sites will keep people from looking dumb.

  • 2 things 1 wtf i said my teacher was wrong get over yourself with the sarcastic shit and 2 remember wikipedia is writen by normal ppl who many get theyre info from siyes that are wrong if u belevie everything u read ur the 1 tht looks dumb

  • Your teacher should not be teaching if he doesnt know basic history of his art. And I didnt get this from Wikipedia, it was simply a suggestion for youtube know-it-alls so they dont make lame comments. I know this because I've been training judo and jujitsu for years.

  • It did come from china, it was invented by them to beat bigger guys, cause CHinese being inferior in some ways, they had to fight back.

  • a simple look at wikipedia will keep you from making such stupid remarks. Judo came from Japan.

  • Rrrrrriiiiiiiight, because nobody *ever* fought hand-to-hand before it happened in China. *eyeroll*

  • Last one who fight for Turkey is chechen:)

  • actually they are. a lot of them aren't the traditional lifting uchi mata but the a hopping one where you hook the leg and hop to topple them over, its called ken-ken uchimata.

  • I know ken-ken very well, before you lecture on ken-ken watch the video again.

  • Um not uchi mata u say , so what are they?! xD

So why is Judoka1 ur name lol

  • nicoco619! Yes mostly not Uchimata; Harigoshi and tsurukumigoshi.. Judoka is my name because I know my judo not a wanna be judoka like ur self

  • there's a video floating around of the singer of the song that is playing(maynard james keenan) using a judo/jiu jitsu throw on stage to a heckler.

  • Amazing, very nice. I will try Judo, it seems very good, a sport that the tecnics are more important than hit or kick someone. You don´t need to be violent only smart.

  • eh eh sometimes it is useful a little bit of violence...in tough competitions for ex...but not always...basicly youre right!

  • AWESOME!!!!

  • wow the guy at 1:53 like broke his arm....

  • he is stupid

when some1 learn judo, one of the basics lessons is to not use ur arm to protect urself when falling

  • you are calling Hidehiko Yoshida, one of the greatest judokas of all time a stupid man because he tried to prevent an ippon on a competition that will be remebered for years? you, victorcp2?! multi-LOL

  • try to don´t do that in an olimpic game or a mundial tournamet.

  • Holy crap! That guy at 1:53 made a bad mistake. Why would someone at that level break such a basic Judo rule. Take the fall man.

  • yoshida yes olympic and wrold champ what was he thinking?

  • Thats ok that you showed Gill twice. That was a classic text book uchi mata, really nice! It looks like he made one short entry first to see Gills reaction, and then committed. Thats the stuff! Nice video.

  • great love it

  • who cares?

  • Why did you show Inoue Vs. Gill 2 times?
