i think he improved his ft shooting to 68 percent during the 15 some games of the 00-01 season after coaching with Ed Palubinskas. his lifetime average is i think in the mid 50th percentile. every bit counts. shaq is a good player, again, because of his dominance but a lot of teams take advantage of the fact he can''t make free throws. teams are going to be abusing that and that could be very bad for the suns.

again, great player, but he needs to work on his weaknesses.

I disagree, besides Yao Ming and Dwight Howard, WHAT OTHER CENTERS are better than Shaq EVEN RIGHT NOW AT THE TAIL-END OF HIS CAREER? Brad Miller (Naw mane'), Andrew Bogut (Imagine that) or Chris Kaman (I like him, but he doesn't have the impact on a game that Diesel has even at this point in his career)? but u have to see that shaq ans dwight are two different kinds of centers. Shaq is a power house center where once he has the ball its a goal. But dwight is more of a rebound center where he gets the rebounds for the team. Dwight already out rebounded shaq when shaq was in his prime. So they have two different styles. Although shaq in his prime was unstoppable. Dwight is still not in his prime yet we'll see

Al Jefferson is about the colsest thing to it. He's like a 23 and 11 player and still getting better. The list is thin though cuz everybody wants to step outside and shoot to avoid the contact. Besides that, JO's career has been hampered by injuries, he was like the next great pf/center until that happened.
