  • I was looking up The Plot In You and found this

  • what brush cleaner did you use?

  • I HAVE A TABLE LIKE THAT

    e w e

  • what brushes are you showing in this video

  • Great video! Good Info! Where did you get your table? I been looking everywhere for one like that but haven't any luck.

  • Way to look out for us! You are a great teacher and I love how simple you make everything!

  • loved it! I used this setup on my make up class and everything was so handy! thanks!

  • HEllo... i have a question!! where can i get a table like you have?? maybe online or an a store!!

    THANKS!!!

  • I'm a painter and the brush holder/ storage that I use is perfect for makeup. It not only stores my brushes but it flips over to be a brush stand. I also have a few for my makeup brushes and it holds them perfectly. You can buy them at any art supply store or warehouse. I think it would be better since you don't have to carry that stand. Thanks for your great videos!

  • You have a great clear speaking voice! Love your videos

  • Koren you are awesome. Love that you are so generous in sharing your ideas...there are people that are "friends" and "family" who are so stingy in sharing recipes, ideas, and tips with us, and here you are sharing with the world. thanks for the tips. i learn so much

  • do you sell the brush rolls that you make? i love the one you show in this video - it's gorgeous! x

  • One last question-Do you ever wash your brushes? Or just using the brush cleaner is enough?

  • @cowfetti you should wash your brushes once or twice a week, and you should use a daily brush cleaner, everyday to prevent bacteria :)

  • Sounds good. I would assume so! I was told that we should wash it with shampoo? Only if it's real hair..? I have a brush cleaner, but which one is better? Have you tried them all??? :o)

  • @cowfetti i use a brush cleanser, from MAC. but before i had that, i used baby shampoo and it works just as good :)

  • Where can I get a brush belt? Also, what brushes do you recommend? I have a mixture of Chanel and Laura Mercier and MAC. But I noticed yours seem to be a totally different line. I have a flat brush holder from Chanel, but it doesn't hold a lot. I cram a lot of brushes in it. I love your easel idea and the dirty tumbler method. :o) Thanks for sharing!

  • This was SOOO GOOD!!

I will try this, because i'm still learning those tips are so helpfull, thank you Koren!

  • Koren! I'm not old enough to do make up on people as I am only 11 but I loove make up, and your videos! Thanks for your help : ) x

  • Okay, how could I never have thought of an art easel?! That's an awesome idea! Thanks!

  • sorry, i mean the ones inside the tumbler....

  • oh, Koren. You really help me with this tips.

    Thank you so much! ummuach!

  • Koren, do I have to have a liscense to practice freelance makeup and hair? I am hearing SUCH conflicting information. And beauty school is just not an option for me, right now. :)

  • Great info Koren. Thank you.,

  • Hi Koren,

Thank you so much for this tip! This will definetly help cut my time on a client.

  • thanks for the tips!!!more power!!

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!!! but are those your brushes in that belt? I looked on your website and the colors aren't the same. Please tell what brushes those are I have been wanting to throw out/give away my current brushes and want an entire new set.

  • those are the Coastal Scents Badger brushes...

  • i'm sure some people may take offense to me saying this, but if you choose to throw away or get rid of your current brushes, i would be more than willing to take them off of your hands. i'm still an amatuer at makeup and dont really have a good set of brushes, thanks.

  • ur so smart !

  • TY for the information. I am attending Esthetics school. I have days left, and i have learned more about makeup, the industry, application, and sanitation from you and the youtube community than i have in 10 months of training.

I do have a question. How often do you change the towel and paper towel during a gig? For example, at a wedding, if you have 5 clients, do you change the paper towel after each person? Thanks again?

  • When my cousin got married, she hired a makeup artist to do everyone's makeup. We're a big family of mainly girls; probably around 25. I didn't realized until later that she was using the SAME POWDER SPONGE on EVERY single person. I was the last one to get ready and I broke out like crazy after. I should send her this video so she could learn about sanitizing... You're great Koren! :)

  • gross!

  • That's so nasty. D: If you're going to use sponges they need to be the disposable ones. And throw them away after each person.

    Did you complain?

  • I would like for u to come and do my makeup but I dont have a special occasion lol. Well u have taught me alot Koren thanks!!
