Death Metal started in about 1985 and "Breakdowns" started in the early 1990s by Hardcore bands then every Metal genre wanted to start taking "Breakdowns" form Hardcore so thats why there is all these Core genres. Btw EVERYONE in Death Metal hates anything Core(exepct Grind) &" Breakdowns" so I don't think that there is too many DM bands that do "Breakdown". So you should get it right.
