  • as long as it's about death, i don't give a fuck.

  • DeathCore is Gay.!

i think Beneath the Massacre is Technical Death Metal. <3

  • @kuracklescik you are one

  • @kuracklescik Deathcore is not gay lol. Just some poser scene bands like We butter the bread with butter, Bring me the horizon, dr.acula and so on

  • bob marley would be proud

  • @unholded Lmfao!

  • Dieser Song und Band sind beide toll!

  • I know it ! its Deathdeathcore!

    he? Good? :D

  • 0:53 destroyed my room

  • ay brakedowns smakedowns i love the bass.. fuckin rattle my brains out my fuckin ears... if its to loud, your to fuckin old!!!

  • I put my feet up and drink a cup of tea while listening to this.

  • Folkmetal at his best

  • Lol at people calling them deathcore because they have breakdowns, Decapitated, nile, suffocation, cannibal corpse and necrophagist all have breakdowns in some of there songs to.

  • @Smythe705 None of those bands have breakdowns.

  • @poserdisposer69 Yes they do

  • @Smythe705 Tell me which songs by which artists then.

  • @poserdisposer69 Decapitated - Spheres Of Madness

    Suffocation - Misconceived

    Cannibal Corpse - absolute hatred

Nile - 4th Arra of Dagon

These and many other death metal bands incorporate breakdowns into their music and have for since they started, breakdowns ARE death metal and have been for ages, get it right.

  • @Smythe705 There was a "Breakdown" in Spheres of Madness but all the others were breakdowns, like bridges. Death Metal started in about 1985 and "Breakdowns" started in the early 1990s by Hardcore bands then every Metal genre wanted to start taking "Breakdowns" form Hardcore so thats why there is all these Core genres. Btw EVERYONE in Death Metal hates anything Core(exepct Grind) &" Breakdowns" so I don't think that there is too many DM bands that do "Breakdown". So you should get it right.

  • @poserdisposer69 "EVERYONE in death metal" Well i'm glad they chose you "poserdisposer" to speak for the entire death metal community. And bridges or however you want to justify it there are breakdowns in those songs, the history lesson only proved my point that death metal bands do use breakdowns well before people invented the stupid term "deathcore".

  • @Smythe705 Yes, EVERYONE that likes Death Metal hates Deathcore. And this whole convesation started because of Chug-Chug breakdowns not breakdowns as in bridges. Every band does bridges. I don't know if you read my "history leason" but I didn't prove what you said because Death Metal bands do not do chug-chug breakdowns. You should learn about the Death Metal scene and about music in general.

  • @poserdisposer69 Urrrgghhhh, I can't be stuffed having this argument any more.

  • @poserdisposer69 I like Death Metal and I also like some Deathcore bands , so ofcourse now you're going to accuse me of not being a ''true'' Metalhead . Go take your bullshit somewhere else cause the only people I see bitching about all this apparently dont go out much. Cause most Metalheads I know dont have a huge problem with Deathcore .

  • @Shink5 Hey, buddy don't be to quick to judge. Did I ever say Deathcore sucks? Did I say you suck if you like Deathcore? Well, I love Deathcore, it's just when ever I mention Deathcore to any fan of Death Metal I get ridiculed. Why can't anyone on Youtube just not jump to conclusions and be a dumbass. Also I'll be happy to stay on this video because I am a fan of BTM, have bought their music, and supported them. And please only respond if you are going to say somethin new and not idiotic.

  • @poserdisposer69 Aight sry , misunderstood

  • agreeddddddd

    NEVERMOEREE

    FUCK U SPELLLLXCHECK MY ASSSS

  • This version has a boring breakdown - the original has a really off-kilter timing to the breakdown instead of bland 4/4 pauses

  • Pretty much the only song from them that was able to stick in my head. Specially the little breakdown thingy, which sounds extremely catchy \m/

  • @MrDanteaguilar LITTLE breakdown thingy? hah

  • @iHORTYxz yeah, breakdowns are very bland and boring for me. The more ''Br00tal'' the more boring it sounds, but Beneath the massacre manage to play catchy ''breakdowns''.

  • when you hear one of their songs, you've heard them all .....

  • @fullguitaraddict85 atm not really

    it sounds like the same but the difference is big if you just listen to their songs for longer than one minute (;

  • For real. Who gives a fuck what genre it is. If you don't like it, listen to different music and don't complain like a bitch

  • @tokersmoke123 again with that people saying: "if you dont like go fuck yourself" bitch!! If there's a dislike button, why it cant be a dislike comment....thats why they are free!! free commenting!!

  • deathcore is shit...only

    Death Metal...

  • @keylllogdark too bad this is technical deathcore deal with it, why else would they have actual breakdowns? Deathcore breakdowns>Death metal breakdowns

  • @keylllogdark agreed!

  • death metal deathcore who cares its good music

  • @TheBloodyBassist Ive got a new one: Tech-Death Metal! GOTCHA!

  • @lesunder DAMN YOU TO HECK lol

  • goood stuff. Playing splatterhouse to this and i must say, g.o.t.y. for me.

  • This band has such a variety or music. Each and every song is completely different from the last.

  • IT'S FUCKING CANADIAN DEATH YOU FUCKTARD'S GET A LIFE EH! AND STOP LABELING

  • @vivisection001 Nah definitely Technical Death Metal...you want Canadian Death Metal?!

    Check out Kataklysm :P

  • @XxBrutalBeatdownXx don't know if your trying to be a smart ass but i am canadian, and fucking BENEATH THE MASSACRE IS CANADIAN, their from quebec you fuckin yank

  • @vivisection001 No lol i wasnt being a smartass man chill lol

I know Beneath The Massacre is Canadian and i was just saying Kataklysm is a good example of death metal but this band is CANADIAN technical death metal

  • Christopher bradley is the best guitarist to ever live

  • Most brutal vocalist ever :)

  • HOLY FUCK THIS IS AWESOME

  • In hell, satan makes you tab this...D:

  • i hate the rerecorded shit. the older ones are better

  • i saw this shit live and it was fucken brutal....nobody would mosh though buncha pussies

  • I fucking loved playing with these guys live in my old band "Charybdis" It was so sick!!!

  • :54

  • a-fucking-mazing!

  • gnarlyyyy breakdownn i think this song is known for that shit in particular.

  • suffocation had breakdowns. try calling them deathcore at their shows.

  • Who said Death Metal didn't have awesome breakdowns?

  • @raikou6 death metal started the chugs and BRUTAL

    breakdowns hahaha

  • they should play this for the soldiers in iraq........

  • @mexrilla u trying to dishonor them with this?

  • @BODOMmETALwolF

Hell no, i just think with this playing in the streets of iraq, we will win the war in less than 30 days....

  • @mexrilla yeah, i guess, i hear metal music is banned in iraq and iran and also all other countries around there i think but i didnt particularly like this band

  • this is on my best breakdown list along with the legend itself pantera domination\m/!

  • Legendary breakdown

  • this song live is the shit cuz the drummer goes

    pop

    ting

    BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

  • Sick BreakDown.......

  • i download this song and i think i have the old version or the new but it sound alot different than the one i have

  • like how it fades away from the breakdown

  • this breakdown is beyond brutal!

  • I think the guys calling it -core are just hearing the whole diminished tonality and 3rds thing and ripping on it. To be fair, they're common in Tech Death and core

  • i wish i cld find the Evidence of Inequity version on here, in my opinnion it sounds better.

  • @xGorefieldx you so right i was kind of let down with this version, and to everyone bickering about what genre it is, not only does it not matter but if anything BTM is technical death metal with hardcore influences, death metal vocals, technical solo's and riffs, and a breakdown or two doesn't make a band deathcore or hardcore imo

  • @lord0gore o.0 ur rite

  • Tech Death

  • ha. this cover should be used for Dying Fetus.

  • brutalness

  • @Hate666Eternal its technical death.....deathcore is like AOAA or carnigayfax or shit like that.....BTM is pure tech death!

  • @WorseFuneral Annotations of an Autopsy was Goregrind-ish for a long ass time, thier new shit sucks. Carnifex is definitly the worst example you could have picked. Despised Icon, Molotov Solution, DOOM-era job for a cowboy

  • @Dorgenruu

    AoAA have never been goregrind

aoaa's new shit is straight up Death metal

  • i did a vocal cover of this song. check it out!

also, this song, is probably one of the best technical death metal songs to come out in a while. there's this band called Erjony or something like that that sounds very similar to this, so if you want to check them out, you should as well, almost the same playing style, good shit. If you check out Erjony, listen to the song Grace.

  • This song isnt even fair. it's so heavy! Ill have everyone know that when i listen to this song i just sit and laugh because its soooo brutal! the complex guitar work that gives way to a simplistic yet effective breakdown, then back to the hammering double bass and the gurgly bark of Elliots sick vox, btw i like this version way better than the old. sick ass song fuckin technical brutality!!!

  • your telling shit 98gothic. i dont get kicked out too

  • love this song but the old version vocals and guitar sound better.

  • Is it me or does this re-recorded version not have the breakdown with an odd time signature?

It used to count an extra half bar at points which gave it an awesome pattern x'OOOO

  • how come i can't favourite this shit?

  • how come my school just bout kicks me out cuz i listen to this...y...i guess cuz they think its satanic...watever...the system is fucked

  • @98gothic I go to a catholic school and listen to Cannibal Corpse , Behemoth , Dying Fetus and I show my teachers song of their songs and they don't kick me out o.O

  • @98gothic I almost got suspendid for listening to this shit. system is bullshit.

look at religion, thats the biggest scandal of all time

  • this sounds like shit compared to the copys of the songs i have wtf????? anyone explain? it sounds messy and off timing

  • Sweeet song :D

  • @thel33tness Yeah i must agree, the breakdown is pretty lame..

    but cool song though

  • i actually like the simplicty of the breakdown, imagine it live though it would be fukin amazin

  • i wish i had an hour-long copy of the breakdown lmao

  • amen to that!

  • @chasefui88 You can.

  • @omanuder How cuz i need it haha

  • @chasefui88 Just take the breakdown in Audacity, or some shit, and copy paste it for an hour LoL. You may have to put the bitrate down a little because it'll be a huge file, but that's not a bad thing. Just a breakdown.

  • @chasefui88 I fucking agree with you.

  • @chasefui88 The funny part is, an old joke band I was in had a track called "Even More Breakdowns" parodying deathcore with this breakdown. It was over 15 minutes, and included all kinds of bizarre instruments playing it.

I mean, the song itself isn't bad, but the breakdown ruins it for me. Kills the pacing and intensity.

  • @TheHideousRevelation yeah i kow wat u mean, it doesnt fit wit this particular song.. this is chasefui88 btw

  • @chasefui88 too bad it's already an hour long LOL

  • @officerpoopnard I lol'd; definitely true.

  • @999dod999 every genre has breakdowns of some description, he was referring to metalcore breakdowns which are boring and irritating

  • your comments are boring and irritating ya faggot cunt

  • ya mum is boring and irritating know

  • 0:53

    BRUTAL.

    sehr richtig.

  • Fucking sick SHIT !

    love em....

    88

  • whatever core-music in general

wether it's beatdown hardcore or metalcore

  • lol it's not even near core-music... this is pure highly technical death metal at its finest... plain and simple.

  • lol.... explain that breakdown then?

  • you can't consider a band "deathcore" just because they have ONE breakdown in ONE song.

  • whatever genre labeling is getting fucking gay anyways. i just know whenever ive seen this band the pit is completely filled with flailing arms and legs.

  • that's called "moshing"

  • ok its time to shut the fuck up now.

  • @TruthFamineFloater you know, death metal has a quite a few breakdowns heh

with your logic suffocation is deathcore

  • @999dod999 ok what makes "core" core then?

  • @TruthFamineFloater shitty stuff. jk haha

umm most of the time, lots of breakdowns, pig squeals, typical highs and lows

    theres always exceptions but meh

  • DEATH metal + metal CORE = DEATHCORE in simple words if its a fusion between those 2 generes it makes it a core

  • @ShamanS08 Ya no shit I get it bud..... Im making a point. Deathcore is the most fucking retarded made up word Ive ever heard since calling music "emo". The singer from The Acacia Strain agrees....

  • @ShamanS08 But are there really any elements of metalcore in this song?

  • Technical Death Metal

  • @lookralphsbak  nope (;

  • @angelairwave88 heuuuuuuuuuuuu this is pure deathcore dont say thats its death metal stupid

  • @Hate666Eternal I don't think it's deathcore, but whatever...

  • @angelairwave88 technical death metal doesn't have breakdowns.

  • @DoomStyme not to be a technical little bitch but all music has breakdowns, even pop. it'd still call them tech death though... this is the only core-breakdown they have in any of their songs.

  • @jonathanonfire I'm not their number 1 fan, so I don't know every song of them. But I saw them live, and this is not the only core-breakdown they have in any of their songs.

  • @DoomStyme Born of Osiris, Between the Buried and Me, Textures, Veil of Maya, Animals as Leaders... Look em up

  • @deathdrummer9000 deathcore, mixture of 3480343 genres, I don't know Textures, deathcore and technical non-sense stuff. So what? Necrophagist is tech-death metal. Braindrill is tech-death metal (I don't like them, but who cares).

  • @DoomStyme Well Necrophagist and Braindrill just don't do breakdowns. It's not their thing.

  • Comment removed

  • @deathdrummer9000 It's not their thing because THEY play technical death metal. Beneath The Massacre doesn't.

  • @angelairwave88 well, its merely elements used, yngwie malmsteen isn't classical music, but he uses the elements, bullet for my valentine isn't metal, but they use metal elements, so this band isn't hardcore, but they use hardcore breakdown, yet they are completely metal ^.^

  • @xeronik69

    lol yngwie....

  • @angelairwave88 i disagree, too much breakdowns to be a great or even at least a good band. its closer to deathcore than pure technical death metal

  • @BODOMmETALwolF lmao uhm have you heard of any other songs besides this from these guys? This is one of very few if not the only breakdown they have

Coming from a backround of musical knowledge any band knows that a BREAKDOWN is known also as a BRIDGE. Fucking scene kids fucked things up and now they are called breakdowns for w.e reason this isnt deathcore its technical death metal you want deathcore look up Thy Art Is Murder or old Bring Me the Horizon (who i fucking hate) but yea man

  • @XxBrutalBeatdownXx oh i didnt know a bridge is the same as a breakdown, had no idea i just listen to metal and learn from that.

And yes this is the only song i heard from these guys, don't know any others.i was just randomly browsing through their music

AMEN to that, scenes are ruining metal for what is truly is but not only them even the mainstream. i hate it when regular people hear"metal"they think of Slipknot or Metallica. there need to be some kind of revolution. shoot im the general xD

  • @BODOMmETALwolF Yea man cause it slows the tempo and allows the transition from one section of the song to another its sort of slang for bridge

Yea these guys are really good love their music, a lot of people mistake me as scene or emo it pisses me off cause i dont like scene or emo kids i mean a maajority of them are annoying as fuck but yea bro i totally agree with you :)

  • @XxBrutalBeatdownXx dude there are quite many kinds of breakdowns.Listen to some Suffocation and see how death metal brekdowns are and then listen to Suicide Silence and then to this. I bet ull observe that breakdowns of BTM sound much more like the ones of deathcore and thats why their genre confuses many ppl( me for example)

  • @PanagosGr33kG134EVER good point good point yea it can get confusing

  • @XxBrutalBeatdownXx naw they have a shit of breakdowns you just gotta listen to em....

  • @XxBrutalBeatdownXx new thy art is murder(the only full length btw, i dont know why the EP is more popular even today) is technical death metal/deathcore

  • @Stupness true true its good shit though lol i just stick to calling things metal from now on :P

  • what is everybody speaking?

  • german

  • oh nice.

  • born of osiris und the bridal procession.
