@geckoboy369 Why opt for S2? They ended the series perfectly fine. If they tried and make S2 there's only a 3% chance of it being a fraction as good as the original. Let sleeping dogs lie.

@masterman332 Well, it's interesting cause they are making a second series, Eureka Seven Ao, and it has a completely different protagonist, although I don't know if he's related to any of the characters in Eureka Seven. I don't know where you get your 3% chance statistic of it being a fraction as good as the original, whether you've watched Death Note or not, but I'd give this new series (not season) a bigger chance.

@Eorzat The 3% was just my take on it. Them making another series in the same universe isn't the same issue, especially if it uses a new cast. But making another season with Renton, Eureka, and Gekkostate would have really made no sense at all and annoyed me and some others I don't doubt, since their stories were all tied up nicely at the end, and trying to continue on from there would be really hard for so many reasons.

I've heard some complaints about Eureka Seven not being a good anime. I agree.
