I did some bio research on Dana and found out that she had a couple of operations on her vocal cords in the 80's. This might explain the perception that her voice isn't very strong. She was born in 1951 so that makes her 48 now. She has dual citizenship with Ireland and USA.
Incidentally, I was at the very last performance she gave on stage in Margate when she was taken very ill, leading to her throat operation, thank god she recovered well. By the way she had this operation in 76 if I remember right.

She's gorgeous.....but from the ring on her finger it looks like she got married....darn! I've heard this song by many artists and she does it as well as the others....besides....it's the words that count.......I'll throw her a kiss across any room, and gladly brush her arm as I walk by. PS: I'm single too!

I simply meant that there are other more powerful versions of the song, namely the original by Kitty Kallen. She doesn't "shout" the words but at least you can hear what she's singing. It's a pity you can't appreciate that other people have differing opinions to yours, without resorting to being personal. And as for my marital status.....that's my business and I intend to leep it that way.
