  • shes so ummm...how do i put this...old...for gymnastics....

  • the audience was soo disrespectful when she did a full twisting double layout the crowd had applause but when kim zemeskal did a full twisting double pike the crowd roarded and when oksana did a full twisting tuck and a double pike just little claps is what she got but when kim did a double tuck the crowd screamed like it was a tripple tuck

  • What was the score here

  • @LCAmarkymark 9962

  • @metsdudenj should have been a 10 lol

  • hmm, are full outs harder than full ins? and how come full ins are more common?

  • @zhangshinyi cuz when babies fart they said wuts up poopshoot yo....

  • can you believe she's still competing today!! and she hopes to be in the 2012 olympics too!!

  • this tumbling work is outstanding!

a full out is verry rare move today because it is verry difficult. but doing those moves in 1991 was just incredible!

  • cual es el nombre de la cancion

  • @laordendelfenix55555 "Overtura de Guillermo Tell" por Rossini.

  • I think this was the most outstading performance of her career! BEAUTIFUL!!

  • And 17 years later she would go on to win an Olympic vaulting silver, simply amazing.

  • I find it amazing that in spite of the floors being even more spring loaded today than here (18yrs ago) there arent many gymnasts doing full twisting double str8's !!!!

  • I love full outs. So much more elegant looking than full ins.

  • There's just such a lovely lightness to her tumbling that you don't really see anymore. She makes very difficult tumbling look so easy!

  • She still does all those hard skills, too, which is just amazing.

  • I so love this routine. I've watched the clip five times now.

  • Very, very, very good!

  • Her double layout is still very high today! This lady is a gymnastics legend in my book.

  • @ballethoney with a full twist in it too

  • Amazing that she's not only still competing today, but STILL WINNING!

    A 33yr-old Olympic medalist. Outstanding.

  • And she still doing a stretched full-out

    =O

    She's admirable!

  • wow chusovitina had some awesome tumbling the only girl ive ever seen that had equal or harder tumbling in competion is kristen mahloney in 2000

  • don't forget Dos Santos!

She does a full twisting double layout, piked double arabian, and double layout all in one routine

  • chusovitina is so amazing, i cant think on anyone to mate her in the category 'good performance AND long lasting career'... shes just absolutely outstanding. im SO willing to see her vaults on 2009 worlds!

  • i think chuso should have won the gold solely, she had 4 tumbling passes, Bontas should have won the bronze. Yes Bontas was flawless but chuso's floor just looked so much more complex

  • i meant Bontas should have won the silver

  • If only the choreo remotely matched the music. This was the beginning of the end in terms of rewarding captivating choreo.

  • Well it would have been pretty hard to reward that in this final as the only 2 women who had any impressive "choreography" were Onodi who fell and Boginskaya who had a big mistake. The other routine were all about tumbling so that was what it came down to.

  • omg shes so cute here :)

  • Wow, what was the second pass? SHe got up so high!

  • well right after the "chusovitina" she just does a full twist but her second pass is a double back w/ a full twist on the second salto.

  • Its was amazing. Its great that Bontas and CHusovitina who tied for the gold (9.962) had the greatest and most superb tumbling as compared with the rest of the field (although there choreo were both questionable).

  • She did not score a 10.0 for this routine. As to curtail to misinformation being spread here, she tied Bontas with a 9.962, Zmeskal won bronze with a 9.950, and Milosovici and Miller tied for fourth with a 9.925.

  • Should have been a 10.0 though. Milosovici should have won a bronze over pukable Zmeskal

  • speechless...I had never seen any of her floor routines..and now i´m completely shocked..I can only say WOW

  • I could watch her tucked full out endlessly...

  • Amazing - I love Chusovitina and it's so good to know that she is still going strong and doing well and winning medals even today! Go Chuso! Thanks for sharing this wonderful old vid, brings back memories!

  • She scored a 10.0 and tied with Cristina Bontas. Kim Zmeskal and Lavinia Milosovici tied for the bronze with 9.962.

This was the best floor event final ever.

  • A great performance. She actually tied a Romainian gymnast named Christina BOntas for the gold on this event. The score was a 9.962!!

  • one of the few who could challenge Milosovici!

  • did she score a 10?

  • This is one of my fave routines of all time. I have it on VHS and recall the commentators arguing about it, one of them didnt like it at all.

  • AMAZING!!!

Perfect double layout full-out and tucked full-out!!

The most beautiful tucked full-out I have EVER seen!

  • Yes! That was one of the legendary performances of Oksana!

  • Yes!

  • did she win?
